Main purposes of the post
To support the delivery of the community-led violence reduction programme in Salford, working with young people, communities and VCSE partners in Little Hulton.
The Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Unit worked with 10GM, other VCSE providers and local communities to co-design our approach to a community-led violence reduction programme. The programme is one of the Violence Reduction Unit’s flagship projects across Greater Manchester and is in line with the ambitions of the Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Strategy and Public Service Reform programme to involve communities to identify priorities, problem solve and direct investment and interventions accordingly. In Salford, the programme will be delivered within Little Hulton.
Hours: Part-time, 18.75 hours per week.
Days: To be confirmed (core hours are worked between 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday).
Contract: 1-year fixed-term contract, subject to the successful completion of a 3-month probationary period.
Place of work: Salford CVS’ offices in Eccles and within Little Hulton.

The Assistant Finance Manager supports the Deputy CEO in delivering a high-quality finance function. About the role
The Head of Fundraising and Development role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape Woman’s Trust’s income strategy, develop new partnerships and play a central role in the organisation’s next phase of growth.
We are seeking an established income-generation leader who combines strategic and commercial judgement with a willingness to remain hands-on. The successful candidate will have a strong record of securing significant income, identifying new opportunities and building effective relationships with funders, commissioners and partners. The role will oversee the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy and funding pipeline. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will support local activists to strengthen and start local Amnesty groups that build place-based power and engage in campaigns to resist authoritarianism, protect everyday rights and speak out on international crises. You will identify and build strong relationships with leaders, supporting them to grow vibrant local groups and coalitions, lead activist-led or Amnesty UK priority campaigns, and build political relationships.
You'll combine organising, campaigning, facilitation, partnership-building and strategic thinking to ensure people-powered change is at the heart of the Amnesty UK movement.
Due to this role including direct work with children and young people, it will be subject to safer recruitment checks, including a criminal record check.
This role typically needs to spend 1 day per week visiting local groups to fulfil the responsibilities of the role, and at least 1 day per month in the London office.

About the role
Taking ownership of our digital and technology platforms, you will actively support campaigns that improve the lives of women. In particular, you will optimise our website, CRM and social media to grow traffic, engagement and conversions through reporting and A/B testing and proactively review digital content based on SEO changes and evolving organisational needs. At the same time, you will assist colleagues in delivering diverse digital projects whilst identifying opportunities for automation and championing best practice in everything you do. In short, you will bring women’s stories to life via marketing campaigns, AI, influencers, social media and other channels to give us a powerful voice to champion change and transform outcomes.
Location: Hybrid, with one day a week at our London office.
About you
Highly experienced in delivering websites, CRM systems and digital platforms, you will be a confident project manager with proven ability to translate user needs into digital improvements. Needless to say, you should be adept at digital optimisation, SEO, skilled at briefing developers and experienced at drafting digital project roadmaps and training materials, and you will be passionate about the possibilities of technology.
If you have a background with a membership, charity or campaigning organisation, so much the better, and knowledge of an Enterprise CMS (Squiz Matrix, Sitecore, Umbraco) plus HTML and A/B testing, CRO, UX, AI and analytics tools would be very useful. However, it’s your resilience and adaptability that will matter most, backed by a highly creative mindset and deep understanding of the latest digital trends.
