Financial control responsibility for accurate, complete, Charity SORP compliant balances in the balance sheet. Review of all monthly balance sheet reconciliations, completeness and of income and expenditure lines and controls accounts. This includes ownership of fixed assets register, KPIs for debtor and creditors aged balances, correct processing of taxes (PAYE/NI and VAT) and banking administration.

Responsible for administering the Procurement Policy and Delegation of Authority. Manage and delegate the financial systems. This includes all aspects of systems management, continuous development and full utilisation of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) cloud-based software. Lead and support system-led financial and procedural controls to elevate current practices to meet best practices in accounting and reporting as per IFRS102 and Charity SORP regulatory standards. The role includes change management and process embedding, upskilling end-users and improving user experience.

Business partner across internal and external stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are met. Achieve high level of assurance and integrity in reports including interrogation and correction as required. Support variance analysis and commentaries on all levels of reporting.

Support finance colleagues in delivery of overall Finance objectives when required i.e. absence cover and deputise for the Head of Finance. 

• Reports to: Chief Executive Officer, working closely with the Programmes Lead and Finance & Governance Lead.
• Hours: We anticipate appointing this role as a 2 days per week (0.4 FTE) employee. However, we are also open to hearing from experienced freelance fundraising professionals who are interested in delivering an agreed programme of work on a consultancy basis, equivalent to approximately one day per week.
• Salary: Employee: £27,000–£31,000 FTE (£10,800–£12,400 pro rata for 2 days/16 hours per week), depending on experience. Consultancy: Day rate to be agreed, depending on experience and scope of work.
• Location: Remote, with approximately two consecutive days per month at our office in Liverpool and occasional travel for meetings or events.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious fundraiser ready to take the next step in their career and take ownership of fundraising within a growing charity.

As Worldwide Radiology's dedicated fundraising professional, you will lead our day-to-day fundraising activity across community fundraising, individual giving and trusts and foundations. You'll be responsible for planning and delivering fundraising campaigns, stewarding donors and writing funding applications that help sustain and grow our work.

You'll also support the CEO and Programmes Lead in developing larger strategic partnerships with major funders and corporate partners through research, proposal coordination and pipeline management.

Unlike many early-career fundraising roles, this position offers genuine ownership from early on. You'll lead fundraising across your portfolio while working closely with colleagues who have experience securing grants and developing partnerships, giving you the support and mentoring to develop your skills and confidence.

While we expect to appoint a Fundraising Manager on a part-time basis, we also recognise that an experienced fundraising consultant may bring a different but equally valuable skillset. We're therefore open to considering either model, provided the successful candidate can take ownership of our fundraising programme and help build the systems, relationships and pipeline needed to support Worldwide Radiology's long-term growth.

What Success Looks Like

During your first 12–18 months you will:

• Lead successful delivery of WWR's community fundraising programme, including the Big Give Christmas Challenge and other supporter campaigns.
• Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of trust and foundation applications.
• Build strong relationships with our existing donors and funders.
• Help diversify the organisation's income by developing new fundraising opportunities.
• Introduce systems and processes that strengthen fundraising as the organisation continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising (Lead)

You will take ownership of WWR's fundraising activity across your portfolio, working closely with the CEO while leading delivery day-to-day. Responsibilities include:

• Leading delivery of fundraising across community fundraising, individual giving and smaller trusts and foundations.
• Researching, writing and submitting grant applications to trusts and foundations.
• Managing relationships with existing trust funders and individual donors, including stewardship and reporting.
• Planning and delivering community fundraising campaigns, supporter events and online fundraising activities, including the Big Give Christmas Challenge and JustGiving campaigns.
• Developing opportunities to grow our supporter base and increase donor retention.
• Maintaining accurate fundraising records, donor data and reporting.
• Monitoring fundraising activity and providing regular updates to the CEO.
• Supporting the development of fundraising plans and identifying new income opportunities.

Partnerships (Support)

Working alongside the CEO and Programmes Lead, you will:

• Research prospective major trusts, foundations and corporate partners.
• Prepare briefing papers and background research ahead of meetings.
• Coordinate development of larger funding proposals by gathering information, managing timelines and tracking actions.
• Maintain the strategic funding pipeline and prospect tracker.
• Support follow-up from meetings, conferences and partnership discussions.
• Help identify opportunities to strengthen relationships with healthcare organisations, companies and strategic partners.

Person Specification

• Experience in a fundraising, development or partnerships role within the charity sector.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Triage & Early Interventions Officer to join the team in Thames Valley working 37.5 hours a week on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2027. About the role

This role is based from home with a requirement for occasional travel to venues across the region to attend Team Days and other meetings as required. You will be working Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.

As a Triage & Early Intervention Officer, you will be:

• talking to people on the telephone from a variety of different backgrounds, all with different experiences. No two days are the same & you will need to use your communication skills and resilient nature to help those dealing with trauma and the effects of crime, who may have gone through a life-changing experience.
• working within a small supportive team that is part of a large independent charity which offers the opportunity to develop skills to enhance your ongoing personal development.

Previous experience in a similar role would be helpful but is not essential as you will receive robust training prior to working directly with clients. You will also receive ongoing support to ensure that you can provide victims with quick responses to meet their needs and help them cope and recover.

We are looking for a full time Campaign and Advocacy Manager with experience in running campaigns for a political cause, managing coalitions, who is able to demonstrate policy-change impact. 

You would be running Migrant Democracy Project’s cornerstone Votes for All campaign which wishes to see the right to vote extended to all residents in the UK, no matter where they are from. The Campaign and Advocacy Manager will have a strategic and creative mindset for the campaign, will be able to plan well into the future as well as capture opportunities in the moment. You will engage with politicians at every level to gather their support, identify ways for these politicians to take action for the progress of the campaign, engineer moments to bring awareness to the issue such as stunts and mass lobbies, liaise with a network of organisations campaigning on democracy and migrant justice, and hold comprehensive policy information about voting rights. You will liaise with the media, politicians, residents without the right to vote, and other stakeholders to make votes for all inevitable.

TERMS AND BENEFITS

• Fixed term contract for 12 months (with the possibility of extension depending on future grants), £38,000 per year, with a September or October 2026 start.

• 25 days of paid annual leave pro rata, plus bank holidays. In addition, the MDP office closes for two paid weeks over Christmas and New Year.

Interview process

● Stage 1: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a 20 minute interview with the Executive Director online

● Stage 2: if successful after Stage 1, shortlisted candidates will be invited for a 75

minute interview in-person. This will include a practical exercise and questions about your experience. You will have an opportunity to ask us questions as well.

Your Mo-Mission (should you choose to accept it):

Movember's UK and Europe public fundraising operation is one of the most ambitious in the global movement. Hundreds of thousands of Mo Bros and Mo Sistas, a full calendar of endurance events, deep community partnerships across education, sport and workplace, and a year-round supporter engagement program that keeps people coming back long after November ends. Leading all of it takes someone exceptional.

As Director of Public Fundraising, UK and Europe, you'll own the strategy and delivery for community fundraising, endurance events, and all public fundraising activity across the region. You'll lead the local implementation of the Movember campaign, drive year-round retention and engagement of the Mo Community, and take an active role in shaping the broader UK and Europe Country Strategy. You'll also play a key part in Movember's European growth ambitions, helping to identify and unlock new markets and opportunities across the region.

People leadership is central to this role. You'll lead a team of 12 or more, building capability, setting clear accountabilities, and creating the kind of environment where people are genuinely empowered to take ownership and deliver with excellence. You'll work closely with the UK Country Director and Global Director of Fundraising, contribute to global campaign squads, and collaborate with counterparts across markets to share what works and maximise collective income.

From setting strategy to stewarding high value supporters, from budget oversight to being a public face of Movember at community events, this is a role with real breadth and real impact.

Based in London, 12-month fixed term parental leave cover. We are open to this role being filled on a full-time or 0.8 part-time basis.

No Moustache Required - but the following are:

• At least 15 years of experience in relevant fundraising roles, with deep expertise in public fundraising.

• Demonstrated experience delivering major fundraising campaigns, preferably including peer-to-peer fundraising.

• A proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing successful strategies, with the ability to translate strategy into action on the ground.

• Proven success managing fundraising portfolios and consistently meeting income targets.

• Strong people leadership skills and experience managing large, high-performing teams.

• A sophisticated understanding of how to use data to maximise fundraising outcomes and supporter lifetime value.

• Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines without dropping the ball.

• An excellent relationship manager, with a proven ability to build and sustain lasting relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.

• Confident communicating at all levels, from team members to executive leadership to external partners.

• Sound knowledge of fundraising law and best practice.

• A genuine collaborator who brings people with them and leaves teams better than they found them.

The Impact You'll Make

The Society wishes to recruit a Senior Recovery Housing Support Worker to join the team in delivering supported housing within the Integrated Substance Misuse Recovery Services in Portsmouth. Based across various hostels in Portsmouth, you will work in a person-centred and trauma-informed approach to support individuals who want to make changes to their lives by supporting them to access interventions that are important to them.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who brings their authentic self to work and possesses the skills, experience, and understanding required to work with adults experiencing alcohol and substance misuse issues. You will have experience working with this client group, understand the impact of substance misuse on individuals and the wider community, and be capable of managing a client caseload safely and effectively.

Essential Skills and Qualities

• Responsible for the effective daily operation of the services managed, the direct supervision of staff, and delegating work appropriately
• Ability to build good working relationships with stakeholders and funders, consulting effectively and attending all meetings as required
• Capability to develop and oversee the implementation of the trauma-informed recovery model and good practice across the service
• Ability to lead and motivate the staff team to ensure a consistently high standard of service delivery and continuous improvement
• Self-reflective, motivated, and able to work independently (including lone working) as well as part of a team
• Innovative and able to engage meaningfully with service users
• Strong ability to assess people’s needs and risks alongside good risk management skills
• Accurate record-keeping and reflective thinking skills
• Knowledge of the needs of vulnerable people with histories of homelessness, drug and alcohol dependency, and mental health needs
• Ability to respond to crisis management, keep the client at the centre of the work, and make full use of local resources and services

Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid have for over 45 years supported women and children with services around domestic violence and abuse. Could you be a part of our team as we continue our mission to end domestic violence and abuse? 

The region’s leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, BSWA offers a helpline, webchat, drop in and and community support as well as emergency accommodation in six refuges across the area.

Projects supports women in the criminal justice system, in healthcare settings, and throughout the community, offering support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. The Director of Operations at SOGB is a wide-ranging, key role, reporting to the Chief Executive as a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). We’re looking for two Youth Workers (one Lead Youth Worker, and one Support Youth Worker) to plan, deliver and facilitate educational and social activities for separated children (up to 21 years old) in the context of an interactive youth club to be held weekly in partnership with Corner House Youth Project in Stockton-on Tees.

Although the Lead Youth Worker will prepare and deliver the materials, supported by the Support Youth Worker, they will also have the back-up of a Support Worker from Corner House and a social worker or personal advisor from Stockton-on-Tees Council.

Club Class is a long-standing project for The Separated Child Foundation, and Club Class in Stockton-on-Tees is a new location for us, launching as a 1-year pilot in October 2026.
