We are looking for a Global Acquisition Officer to help attract new supporters through high-quality content that connects people to our mission and inspires action. Reporting to the Global Acquisition Manager, you’ll deliver multi-channel campaigns across global markets, including paid social, PPC and other digital channels. You’ll craft engaging digital content, design and optimise donation and landing pages, and track performance to continually improve results.
You’ll collaborate with teams across Individual Giving, Communications, Supporter Care, Data, Technology, and Insights and Programs to bring stories to life and run campaigns that motivate supporters to act. You’ll also contribute to wider Acquisition programs, from DRTV and cold mailing to digital lead generation.
This role is ideal for someone early in their digital fundraising or marketing career who is organised, analytical, and creative. You’ll thrive if you bring a data-driven approach with experience in testing and optimising campaigns and turning innovative ideas into measurable results.

About the Role
Our Youth Action Officer will be critical to the development of the Wilder Cumbria ambitions and will be responsible for supporting and coordinating our apprenticeships and student placements and delivering a range of activities to engage and empower young people.
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for the natural world and be able to motivate, inspire and empower young people to 'take action for nature'. Previous experience working in the youth or education sector would be essential to this role, along with good knowledge of local wildlife and demonstrable skills in practical conservation. Previous experience in delivering programmes of engagement in a learning or educational setting would also be desirable, along with experience working with Volunteers.

Job Purpose
This role sits at the heart of Operation Smile UK’s five-year strategy to deliver transformational growth across all income streams. As Retention Fundraising Lead, you will be instrumental in delivering on three of the four core strategic priorities:
1. Build Regular Giving – retain and maximise value from the regular giving base
2. Drive All Donors to Legacy – ensure donors experience best-in-class stewardship, increasing their loyalty to the charity with an objective of feeding into legacy and long-term giving goals.
3. Maximise Growth Through Digital Fundraising Integration – leading the expansion and optimisation of digital growth for all existing supporters.
The Retention Lead is responsible for delivering Operation Smile UK’s strategic individual giving retention and legacy marketing programme. This role is key to driving income growth from our existing donors from the point of recruitment, maximising value and minimising attrition from the regular giving pool and generating and retaining legacy actions and prospects.
You will lead on the strategy, planning, delivery and evaluation of retention campaigns, with full accountability for managing significant budgets, agency partnerships and performance metrics.
You will support the development of the Legacy strategy, be instrumental in planning legacy activity and delivering legacy marketing for the existing supporter base across all income streams and methods of support, from Partnerships, Volunteers and public fundraisers.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to an experienced Individual giving fundraiser with strong commercial acumen and a data-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Campaign Leadership
- Develop and implement the retention strategy, aligned with income targets and supporter growth objectives.
- Lead on the planning and delivery of campaigns across cash, donor stewardship, legacy prospecting and stewardship, welcome, conversion, reactivation and upgrade appeals.
- Lead on strategic development of the cultivation journey to ensure Operation Smile maximise growth through digital channels.

Financial Administration

The Finance & Compliance Officer will typically report to Finance Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Financial Management & Accounting (UK charity context)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with UK charity good practice and organisational financial policies.
• Manage the general ledger, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll journals, and bank transactions.
• Process payments in a timely manner to internal and external stakeholders (team members, suppliers, partners, consultants), ensuring appropriate approvals, documentation, and compliance with delegated authority.

The Newborn Health team is seeking a creative and passionate digital communications and web expert to support the Newborn Toolkit, a global public good co-created by NEST360 (an alliance of 23 partners, 18 in Africa) and UNICEF. The Toolkit supports effective newborn care in low-resource settings and plays a unique role in the fight to end preventable newborn deaths.
Key responsibilities include:

The Policy team is a small, collaborative and collegiate team looking to expand. We have a unique set-up, sitting separately to but working closely alongside the Communications team as part of the wider Public Affairs team. About this role
The Public Affairs Officer is a new and exciting role in a rapidly expanding organisation at the forefront of youth policy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support the strengthening of Impetus’ public affairs profile, as well as support colleagues to strengthen and maintain relationships with parliamentarians, decision-makers, sector stakeholders and wider civil society.
We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to getting the support young people from disadvantaged background need in education and employment. The Public Affairs Officer will be part of the wider Public Affairs Team. Though you will report to the Head of Youth Employment Policy, you will work across both our education and employment policy work, and will be expected to regularly collaborate with the Communications Team, and will understand the role of communications in shaping the political agenda and the public debate. You will have experience of writing for a wide range of audiences, ranging from policy briefings to social media content.
This role supports the delivery of high-quality public affairs work, following agreed plans, templates and processes, and escalating risks or issues promptly.

• Work with the Heads of Policy and Communications teams to contribute to public affairs plans by providing research, coordination and administrative support from the outset of each project

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Project Officer, working predominantly in the South London area, to lead the development and delivery of river and catchment restoration projects. The contract is linked to the anticipated development and delivery timeline of the Reflection Spaces project, which is the primary focus of the role.

Overall Purpose
The Project Manager will work with NHS member charities and key stakeholders to design, lead and manage a high-profile programme of activity alongside key partners and those with lived experience to create memorial reflection spaces for communities most impacted by COVID-19. This is referred to in this document at the ‘Reflection Spaces’ project.
You will bring a dynamic, can do approach to support the design and delivery of the Reflection Spaces project, ensuring collaboration across a wide range of stakeholders, including our identified NHS Member Charities, voluntary sector organisations, funders, evaluators and government officials to create beautiful high quality and reflective spaces supportive of those experiencing bereavement with creative elements to mark their significance.
It involves working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders including our member charities, NHS trusts, funders, evaluators, and government officials, and ensuring initiatives are delivered successfully.
Overall Objectives
To support the design and implementation of new sensory reflection spaces that create a living memory and legacy for communities of those lost during the pandemic. The new COVID-19 memorials will be created across the country that reflect the importance of green spaces to the nation during the pandemic for health and wellbeing, and to bring people together in remembrance and commemoration to those who have experienced loss.
To convene and engage stakeholders to inform the national elements of the project including development of the creative brief, ensuring a golden thread that brings all of the locally funded projects together.
You will coordinate teams, stakeholders and partners to ensure high quality delivery, excellent interpretation and relevance through codesign to represent the user needs from established steering and engagement groups to ensure quality and impact.
You may also be required to oversee other NHS Charities Together initiatives successfully so they deliver on their objectives, managing stakeholders, and are delivered on time and to budget - in particular the Green Communities project, which is an existing grant programme with NHS Charities to create and improve green spaces and help improve the nation’s health.
Key Responsibilities
Project Design and Development
- Work with the Programme Leads and SRO to develop the Reflection Spaces project from design to implementation considering sustainability and legacy of local project design and implementation with NHS charity members.
- Managing high profile stakeholder relationships and partners across government, horticultural partners and bereavement organisations to codesign the programme of activity and/or high level design brief to guide local project delivery.
- Establish evaluation requirements for the programme and projects delivered at a local level and in line with partners involved, leading processes to convene, capture and share evidence, data and insight to support knowledge of impact for users of the spaces. Commission and manage external evaluations where appropriate, ensuring quality and alignment with project aims.
- Plan funding aspects of the programme allocating awards to chosen NHS Charities able to support the requirements of the spaces as per brief.
- Develop project plans with clear objectives, timelines, milestones and manage and monitor associated budget, ensuring that projects are financially sustainable and cover our costs.
Delivery and Management
- Lead initiatives, in particular the Reflection Spaces project, to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
- Establish and oversee robust project governance, risk management, and reporting processes, maintaining strong administration and compliance throughout
- Regularly review and monitor impact against the goals of the programme, ensuring the benefits and impact we seek are being achieved
- Provide line management of staff where required, such as the Senior Projects Officer working across our other related greening projects
- Manage project resources and staff effectively, fostering a collaborative team culture and supporting and ensuring team members are empowered
- Support or lead the process of securing appropriate partnership propositions, selecting service contracts or grant arrangements where appropriate, with regard to considerations such as control and VAT efficiency. - Oversee and manage the delivery of the Greener Communities project to completion.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Convene and engage stakeholders, including member charities, NHS trusts and employees, funders and evaluators, to co-produce and steer projects collaboratively.
- Facilitating and supporting engagement to harness lived experience voice to inform the design and delivery of locally delivered projects to ensure relevance and suitability of spaces and also to support national commemoration events such as the National Day of Reflection.

- Provide support and guidance to member charities through the projects we fund, enabling high quality spaces and user experience and outcomes.
- Represent the organisation externally, acting as a champion for NHS Charities Together and NHS charities

- Work collaboratively with teams across the organisation to plan commemorative events around the National Day of Reflection and to support the design of communication plans.
Creative Arts Installation
- Lead the creative arts commissioning aspects of the Reflection Spaces project in collaboration with partners to ensure spaces have interpretation and recognition around their purpose and also any installation artwork featuring across all sites acting as the golden thread for the programme.
- Identify and build effective relationships with new stakeholders and funders who are required for the artistic aspects of the Reflection Spaces project to support ambition, working collaboratively to secure income such Arts Council applications or equivalent for the devolved nations such as Creative Scotland.
- Establish creative steering groups that help to codesign artistic aspects that will establish interpretation of the spaces and create a ‘golden thread’ unifying the spaces

This is a hands on delivery role. You will prepare and deliver practical nature based activities, support participant wellbeing and confidence, carry out risk assessments and ensure safe working practice at all times.
You will also collect evidence of impact including participant feedback, photos and evaluation data, and contribute to reporting across the wider charity.
Occasional evening or weekend work will help make sessions accessible to more people.

Job Purpose
To provide excellent supporter experience and donor stewardship, and to ensure efficient and accurate processing of fundraised income.
Responsible For
Day-to-day responsibility for supporter care of fundraising audiences – managing enquiries through phone, post and online. Responsible for income processing onto the CRM of all donations. And supporting the portfolio in providing excellent supporter experience to retain supporters for the long-term.
Key Accountabilities
• Manage incoming post and communications from supporters and potential supporters, responding to queries within the SLA in a friendly, supporter-focussed manner.
• Income processing of all donations and month-end reconciliation, ensuring all information relating is accurate on the database.
• Manage administration of gift aid processes including scanning declarations and adding to the fundraising database.
• Manage administration of online giving platforms such as Just Giving, CAF and GoFundMe.
• Working to support the development and delivery of the Audience Journey Project.
