ABOUT THE ROLE

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (including some evening and weekend working, and regular on-call)

Main purpose of the role

The Community Leader is responsible for ensuring that the Community is living the mission of L’Arche, by providing excellent and sustainable care and support services, support for  spirituality, and engaging with our neighbours and the wider community around us.

The Community Leader will:

• Lead the Community by responding to the needs, choices and context of our members while being faithful to the L'Arche UK Vision and Values, the L'Arche International Identity and Mission Statement, and to a co-created Community Mandate and plan.
• Maintain and enhance high-quality, person-centred care, support, and housing for people with learning disabilities, both at home and in our day services in partnership with the Registered Manager, the Team in London, the National Leadership Team, individual circles of support, and external partners; 
• Ensure the Community's financial sustainability through robust financial planning and management, including setting budgets, controlling spending, maximising occupancy, negotiating care contracts, growing day services, and spotting fundraising opportunities;
• Foster a culture that maximises the voice and power for people with learning disabilities, building listening and collaboration between Community members with and without learning disabilities;
• Contribute to the national work programmes of L'Arche UK, as part of the National Council, collaborating with Community Leaders of other L'Arche Communities, to share skills, best practice, and resources

Key essential criteria

• Senior leadership experience in support to adults with learning disabilities (or transferable skills and experience in a closely related field);
• Experience in leading, managing, and developing an organisation or large teams to deliver results, maintain compliance and quality, and to respond to risks and opportunities;
• Good financial planning skills and experiences of successfully managing a substantial budget;
• Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively to develop and implement community plans;
• Experience of living or working alongside people with learning disabilities and/or autistic individuals;
• Passionate about person-centred support and the values and mission of L'Arche;

The Bumblebee Conservation Trust (the Trust) is looking for a part-time (0.7 FTE) Head of Outreach.

Our vision is for a world where bumblebees are thriving and valued by everyone.

This role will:

• Lead on the development and implementation of an Outreach Strategy that inspires people and organisations, including policy makers, to take action for bumblebees. (Aim 2 of the Trust’s strategy)
• Lead on behaviour change impact reporting, ensuring data collection methods and tools are fit for purpose, and staff and volunteers have the necessary training and support to confidently report on the impact of face-to-face outreach activities.
• Lead on project development activities and work with the fundraising team to generate income to fund the sustainable growth of the Trust’s outreach activities across the UK.

You will be an excellent communicator and problem solver with experience in managing change and leading and motivating staff and volunteers. You will have a proven track record in securing grant funding and building strong partnerships with third party organisations, as well as experience in monitoring and evaluating the impact of public engagement and volunteering activities, including social and wellbeing impacts and behaviour change.

This is a part-time post for 24 hours per week.  Some overtime work may be required and a flexitime system is in place.

Purpose of Role

As an Assistant Producer at Comic Relief, you’ll help bring bold stories and creative ideas to life across various platforms and outputs. With a background in celebrity, comedy or branded content, you’ll help captivate audiences and drive engagement, largely focusing on the entertainment portion of our brand, but with opportunities in factual storytelling.

· Shooting experience – used to arranging and contributing on shoots, including camera operating, interviewing, and supporting senior creatives.

· Editing experience – Adobe Premiere editing skills and experience edit-producing, leading video post-production for a range of outlets, particularly social media.

About You 

We are looking for an exceptional fundraiser and motivational team leader. You will be brilliant at building lasting partnerships both externally with supporters and internally with colleagues. You will accelerate opportunities to broaden our networks, develop compelling proposals, deliver inspiring events and provide outstanding stewardship.

You will:
•  Have a proven track record of securing and managing significant six-figure plus donations 
•  Be a confident, persuasive communicator with the ability to translate complex food systems and sustainability programmes into compelling, tailored propositions
•  Be an experienced leader who thrives on supporting their team to reach their potential

The Squad Club is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Club Leader to run our Juniors Club (ages 15–25) on Thursday evenings in Wimbledon, SW19.

This is a part‑time, fixed‑term role (8 hours per week, 40 weeks a year) paid at £13.85 per hour, with a mix of onsite and remote working.

The Squad is a small, volunteer‑run charity supporting young people and adults with learning disabilities through fun, inclusive weekly social clubs. Our members come to Squad to make friends, try new activities, build confidence, and enjoy a safe space where they can truly be themselves. Our clubs also give families and carers vital respite time.

About the Role

We’re looking for someone who can plan and deliver engaging weekly sessions, lead our Thursday night club, and work closely with volunteers, families, and our Operations Manager. You’ll help shape our annual programme, champion member voice, and make sure every session is safe, inclusive, and full of opportunities for learning and fun.

This role includes:

• Planning and delivering a varied programme of activities
• Leading the Thursday evening Juniors Club session
• Supporting and developing volunteers
• Communicating with families, referral partners, and the wider team
• Acting as a safeguarding lead for the Juniors Club
• Helping with admin, record‑keeping, and occasional community fundraising
• Joining off‑site trips and activities when needed

Who We’re Looking For

Someone who is:

• Creative and confident planning activities
• Experienced working with young people with additional needs (youth work or similar)
• Friendly, adaptable, and great with people
• Organised, reliable, and able to manage their own workload
• Committed to inclusion, safeguarding, and disability awareness
• Comfortable using Google Workspace and learning new systems

Experience in small charities or volunteer‑led settings is helpful but not essential if you have strong transferable skills.

The main purpose of this role is to write persuasive funding applications to secure the income needed to enable Cerebral Palsy Plus to continue its work.

The postholder will build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing supporters and contribute to the development of all areas of fundraising.

The part-time fundraiser will also work with the Director to contribute to the development and implementation of Cerebral Palsy Plus’s Income Generation & Fundraising strategy.
