We have an exciting opportunity to join Birmingham's brand-new Family IDVA Service as an IDVA Team Leader, helping to shape and embed an innovative service supporting families affected by domestic abuse across the city.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in establishing a new city-wide service from the very beginning. Working within Birmingham's Family Hubs, IDVA Team Leaders will combine specialist domestic abuse expertise with leadership responsibility, supporting the safe and effective delivery of services for non-abusive parents and their children who have experienced domestic abuse.
As a Team Leader, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to support the mobilisation, development and ongoing success of the service. You will provide day-to-day leadership, support and guidance to a team of Family IDVAs, helping to create a positive, high-performing and learning-focused culture.
This permanent, full-time role is hybrid, with regular visibility required across Birmingham's 10 Family Hubs. You will lead a dedicated team of 5 Family IDVAs, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality and trauma-informed support to families affected by domestic abuse.

About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced IDVA Team Leader to join Birmingham's new Family IDVA Service. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, and offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery and development of an innovative city-wide service supporting parents aged 16+ and their children under 18 who are affected by domestic abuse.
Based within Birmingham's Family Hubs, the service will provide specialist, trauma-informed domestic abuse support to families at the earliest opportunity, helping to prevent escalation of harm and improve safety, resilience and wellbeing. The IDVA Team Leader will help ensure that families receive a flexible, whole-family response, with the voices and needs of both parents and children remaining central to assessment, safety planning and support.
In this role, you will provide leadership and day-to-day support to a team of Family IDVAs, helping to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe and effective services. You will line manage a team of frontline practitioners, providing supervision, coaching, case guidance and performance support, while promoting a positive, confident and resilient team culture. You will also support the Operations Manager with the effective running and development of the service. This will include supporting case allocation, monitoring caseloads, undertaking case reviews and audits, ensuring accurate recording on case management systems, and contributing to performance reporting against service standards, contractual requirements and KPIs. You will use data, quality assurance and learning from practice to help identify trends, strengthen service delivery and support continuous improvement.
You will provide advice and guidance to colleagues around safeguarding, risk and case complexity, ensuring the service prioritises the safety, dignity and individual needs of families. Partnership working will be central to this role. You will work closely with Birmingham Children's Trust, Family Hubs, Early Help, education, health, community organisations and other statutory and voluntary sector partners to strengthen referral pathways, promote access to support and improve coordinated responses for families affected by domestic abuse. You will also contribute to the service's training and engagement offer, helping to build awareness and understanding of domestic abuse amongst professionals across Birmingham's family support system.

Senior Relationship Fundraising Officer – Scotland
The Relationship Fundraising team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for securing income from individuals, regional businesses and groups fundraising in the community, effectively managing relationships to maximise income.
The Relationship Fundraising role will play a significant part in contributing to a high-performing fundraising team. The role will cover the country of Scotland.
You will report to the Relationship Fundraising Manager and support the Head of Relationship Fundraising & Volunteering to drive the continued growth of the charity’s fundraising income in your area. You will also be required to show excellent relationship-building skills to support community partnerships and volunteer groups, driving towards agreed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy, finance, and reporting
· Responsibility for stewardship and relationship building with supporters within the region.
· Identify and apply for corporate partnerships with organisations in the region, account manage these relationships up to a value of £50,000 per annum and support the Partnership Development Team with national partnerships in your region.
· Support existing volunteer fundraisers to encourage continued loyalty to the charity and to maximise funds raised, in accordance with fundraising legislation and good practice.
· Recruit new fundraising supporters in line with strategy.
· Support the Relationship Fundraising Manager (RFM) and Head of Relationship Fundraising & Volunteering (HORFV) in developing the Relationship Fundraising strategy for ARUK to increase income within this stream.
· Support and extend volunteer networks within the geographical area in line with strategy.
· To ensure that fundraising activity is implemented and managed to deliver budgets, targets and income in line with strategy. To achieve this by supporting and facilitating the development of groups and volunteers across the geographical area.
· Work across a diverse geographical area and within a geographically dispersed team, whilst managing own workload in a cost-effective and proactive way.
Supporter Management
· Provide excellent customer service to fundraising supporters and key regional contacts, with prompt responses to enquiries, to acknowledge support and increase long-term loyalty.
· Provide high-quality account management to volunteer groups in the geographical area.
· Effective management of volunteer relationships within the geographical area.
· Support, motivate and develop local fundraising volunteers, ensuring they have a clear understanding of ARUK to enable them to represent the charity’s work effectively.
· In liaison with the Partnership Development Managers and Partnership Officers, provide high quality account management to corporate supporters within specified geographical area and/or of relevant value.
· Keep up to date with fundraising legislation and codes of practice to be able to provide relevant advice to fundraisers.

Increasing Community Support within geographical area
· Use own initiative to extend volunteer networks, develop new groups and supporters, and respond to fundraising opportunities within geographical area, in line with strategy.

· Liaise with local community organisations (predominantly golf clubs) – both previous and new potential supporters – to extend income and activity in line with strategy.

· Arrange appropriate volunteer representation at events in the community, spreading the charity’s reach cost-effectively.
· Identify, research and target prospective community organisations, in liaison with RFM.

· Accurately track and record contact with both community and corporate prospects for planning and reporting purposes.
Monitoring and Reporting

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Senior Risk Relationship Manager provides pivotal leadership in risk management, operational resilience, governance and data protection across Hope for Justice and Slave-Free Alliance globally. Advising on both threats, and opportunities across the organisation’s portfolio, producing insights on emerging themes, particularly those affecting modern slavery and human trafficking, and NGO operations
Operating at the second line of defence (L2), the role delivers independent oversight, guidance, and constructive challenge, strengthening risk management and compliance across the organisation. It supports and holds operational teams to account, ensuring risks are effectively identified, managed, and aligned with organisational risk appetite and governance requirements.
Aligned with ISO 31000 principles, the role leads the development, maturation, and embedding of an enterprise risk approach that integrates risk into strategy, operations, and organisational culture, enabling clear ownership across both centralised and decentralised functions.
The postholder works closely with operational and security leaders to strengthen organisational readiness for, and response to, major incidents and crises, ensuring effective escalation, coordination, and learning.

Main Duties
Risk Management
- Lead the strategic and operational development of the organisation’s risk framework, ensuring alignment with ISO 31000 and organisational context
- Coordinate appropriate identification and management of risk across all senior leadership and accountable roles, ensuring coverages of all 12 classifications of risk per the HfJ framework: (Security; Safeguarding; Health & Safety; Financial; Corruption; People & Culture; Cyber, Information and IT; Governance; Legal & Compliance; Reputational; Quality; Strategic)
- Develop and oversee an annual roadmap and schedule to monitor, evaluate, and report on organisational risk maturity, risk strategies and risk transfer.

Role Summary
As Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the smooth running of our daily operations and
administration, and in the long-term sustainability of the organisation. You'll work closely with the CEO, COO
and senior team to coordinate systems, support financial reconciliation, lead HR across the employee lifecycle,
manage a team of 40+ volunteers, and oversee logistics across projects and teams as well as leading on the
management of our online safe space.
This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone with prior charity sector experience who is highly

Key Responsibilities
This role will include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities
1. Finance & Reconciliation
- Support the Finance Officer with basic finance and reconciliation of transactions using Xero.
- Track and process invoices, expenses and contracts with support from the finance team.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including accountants, financial institutions, insurers and other service
- providers.
- 2. HR & People
- Lead HR across the employee lifecycle: recruitment administration, onboarding, contracts, probations,
- appraisals and offboarding.
- Maintain contracts and employment documentation, ensuring records remain current and compliant.
- Support HR and recruitment administration for new staff, freelancers and volunteers.
- Coordinate wellbeing and DEI initiatives, including wellbeing surveys, DEI surveys and staff wellbeing
- check-ins.
- Contribute to a safe, positive and inclusive working culture across the organisation.
- 3. Governance, GDPR & Policy
- Support GDPR compliance and maintain accurate staff, volunteer and organisational records.
- Support the development and implementation of policies, ensuring organisational compliance with relevant
- regulations and standards.
- Ensure organisational policies, procedures and governance documentation remain up to date.
- Support safeguarding administration and contribute to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for
- staff, volunteers and service users.
- 4. Operations & Administration
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the senior leadership team, including booking travel,
- coordinating accommodation, and planning meetings and events.
- Schedule and support internal meetings, take notes and ensure follow-up actions are tracked.
- Maintain and improve internal systems, including scheduling, databases, digital and physical filing, contract
- management and team workflows.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, subscriptions, software licences, office organisation, incoming post,
- recycling and facilities management.
- Monitor the general enquiries inbox and respond to or redirect enquiries as appropriate.
- 5. Programme & Volunteer Support
- Manage testimony processor volunteers and support the recruitment, onboarding, training and coordination
- of all EI volunteers.
- Lead the planning and delivery of the organisation's mentorship programme.
- Support the growth and delivery of the Safe Space campaign.
- Plan and execute the organisation's Annual General Meeting.
- Provide other administrative, logistical and monitoring support across organisational programmes and
- projects.

The Innovation Manager supports the Director of Innovation to execute core parts of the innovation strategy by embedding improved delivery practices and test-and-learn capabilities across Impact on Urban Health and, where relevant, the wider Foundation, overseeing a priority set of cross-IoUH and within-programme innovation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Innovation Execution: Work with the Director of Innovation to identify areas for change or improvement within the organisation, developing strategies that consider the organisation’s culture, structure and operational workflow.
- Stakeholder Management: Identify key stakeholders affected by proposed changes and develop engagement plans, facilitating workshops or meetings to gather input and ensure stakeholder buy-in.

- Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with innovation initiatives and develop strategies to mitigate these risks, preparing contingency plans for unforeseen challenges during implementation.
- Communication: Develop and execute a communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed about the progress of change initiatives, ensuring transparent and open communication channels to address concerns and provide updates.
