 Overall purpose of role

As WeProtect Global Alliance Fundraising and Grants Manager,you will:

• Lead the day-to-day management of a multi-donor grant portfolio (restricted and unrestricted) to ensure donor obligations are met in full and on time.
• Optimise and maintain grants management systems (calendars, trackers, templates, CRM, workflows) proportionate to a small organisation operating at global scale.
• Produce and co-ordinate high-quality donor reporting and contribute to renewal and proposal development, working closely with the Head of Development and collaborating with the Deputy Head of Operations and Finance, as well as colleagues in the Strategy and Members teams.
• Ensure and strengthen donor compliance, due diligence, and data assurance across the grant lifecycle in line with donor requirements, relevant regulations (including UK and EU), and best practice standards (including GDPR).
• Support the Head of Development and Deputy Head of Operations and Finance with grant budgets, forecasts and pipeline, supporting decision-making by the Executive Team and Board.

Key responsibilities

Portfolio ownership & planning

• Maintain a live grants calendar covering deliverables, reports, payments, audits and evaluations; ensure all internal and donor deadlines are met.
• Act as primary point of contact for assigned donors on contractual, reporting, and routine relationship matters, escalating strategically as needed.

 Reporting & stewardship

• Coordinate the production of timely, accurate and outcome-focused narrative and financial reports, synthesising inputs from programme, policy, finance and leadership colleagues.
• Support contract amendments/variations, no-cost extensions, and budget realignments in collaboration with the Head of Development and Deputy Head of Operations and Finance.

Compliance, risk & due diligence

• Interpret, operationalise, and ensure adherence to donor terms and conditions, including eligibility rules, procurement, safeguarding, DEI, anti-fraud, and data protection requirements.
• Contribute to risk registers linked to grants and grant files (audit-ready) with clear decision trails.
• Support alignment with UK and EU regulatory frameworks and internal policies.

Budgeting, finance & cost recovery

• Support the Head of Development and Deputy Head of Operations and Finance to maintain budgets, forecasts, and cashflows to delivery plans.
• Support cost recovery and overhead allocation approaches and ensure compliant coding and reporting for restricted awards (i.e. timesheets and expense coding).
• Track income recognition and receivables against milestones; prepare payment requests/invoices as required.

Proposals, renewals & pipeline support

• Work with and report to the Head of Development to identify and develop new funding opportunities.
• Support the preparation of compelling proposals, concept notes, and donor presentations tailored to institutional, foundation, and private sector partners.
• Conduct donor research and maintain a live fundraising tracker and CRM system to support proactive pipeline management.
• Contribute to the cultivation and stewardship of funders, preparing impact reports, case studies, and donor communications.
• Coordinate cross-team inputs for donor meetings, funding campaigns, or events that support income generation.

Systems, data & process improvement

• Utilise available grants management tools (e.g., trackers, templates, checklists, shared drives/SharePoint, CRM).

· Promote disciplined data management, ensuring GDPR-compliant document storage and access controls.

• Provide training and guidance to colleagues on grant requirements and internal workflows.

Governance & internal collaboration

• Prepare or contribute to concise briefings, dashboards, and summaries for the Head of Development, Executive Team, and Global Policy Board.
• Contribute to annual planning, KPI setting, and impact measurement related to fundraising and grant delivery.
• Support continuous improvement in monitoring, evaluation, and learning.

1. Substantial hands-on experience managing multi-donor grants across the full lifecycle, from start-up to close-out with a diverse donor community (governments/multilaterals, trusts and foundations, and private donors), including restricted awards.

2. Proven track record coordinating high-quality donor reports and ensuring contractual compliance across multiple awards and deadlines.

3. Demonstrable experience collaborating internally and leading applications, funding reports, financial reporting (budgets, forecasts, cost recovery, and expenditure monitoring).

4. Experience of preparing concept notes, proposals, and application forms for funding opportunities.

5. Experience with grant databases/CRM.

6. Stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with donors and supporting senior leaders with briefings and stewardship.

7. Experience in due diligence, risk management and audit-readiness for grants (e.g., procurement, safeguarding, sanctions/PEP checks, data protection).

8. Proven experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment to deliver a broad range of donor activities.

Brief role description

The Nova Support Team (NST) Client Advisor plays a key role in the NOVA Support Team, acting as the first point of contact for veterans who have served in the UK armed forces and are at risk of, or are involved in, the criminal justice system. They provide timely initial advice, guidance and support, assess individual needs and connect veterans to appropriate services.

The role includes receiving and triaging referrals, making prompt first contact, completing initial registrations and maintaining accurate and detailed records on the case management system to support effective casework.

We are seeking a compassionate and people-focused individual who can build trust and communicate clearly while supporting veterans with a range of complex needs.

You will have experience and guiding and supporting individuals with strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to provide accurate advice and direction. You will also be highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple cases effectively while handling sensitive information with professionalism and care.

You will be proactive, IT confident and able to work both independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also bring an understanding of the justice system, experience using Salesforce, or a similar CRM system, and a resilient, adaptable approach.

Purpose

The Project Manager & Systems Implementation Lead will lead a programme of organisational and systemic change across DATUS, supporting the organisation to move from largely paper-based, informal and inconsistent working practices towards a more structured, reliable and digitally enabled system of operations.

The postholder will work with the CEO, senior managers and the Organisation and Governance Consultant to implement agreed organisational systems, processes and priorities across DATUS. This will include supporting the practical development and day-to-day use of systems such as SharePoint, client records, finance processes, reporting tools, action trackers, governance documents and operational workflows.

The role is focused on turning agreed organisational systems into everyday practice. The postholder will support managers and staff to use systems consistently, identify barriers to implementation, ensure agreed actions are followed through, and escalate risks where systems are not being used or delivery is drifting.

This is a senior implementation role. The postholder will have delegated authority to monitor implementation, challenge drift, request updates, support problem-solving and escalate risks. They will need to work with managers constructively and confidently, without relying on formal line-management authority.

The role does not set the strategic direction of services, replace the authority of service managers, or redefine DATUS’s peer-led model of delivery. Responsibility for service delivery remains with service managers and programme leads. The purpose of this role is to strengthen organisational reliability so that DATUS can grow, evidence its work, meet funder and governance requirements, and protect the integrity of its peer-led approach.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Implementation

• Coordinate the design, testing, implementation, embedding and ongoing improvement of agreed organisational systems, operational frameworks and processes across DATUS.
• Work with the CEO, Organisation and Governance Consultant, senior managers and relevant staff to ensure new systems are practical, usable and aligned with organisational priorities.

There are 7.2 million people with some form of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in the UK, equivalent to 1 in 10 people. There are one million people in the UK who have CKD but are not aware of it.

About the role

The Community Fundraising Assistant will provide administrative, fundraising and event support to the Events and Community team, helping to deliver excellent stewardship to community supporters and ensure the smooth running of fundraising activities and events. Supporter communications and engagement

Now’s an exciting time to join us as we work on a new multi-year strategy and expand the team yet again, bringing in new resource to give the different activity areas space to grow and ensure we can do our best work – contributing to PCR’s lifesaving mission, developing our careers and enjoying work within an ambitious and supportive environment.

This role is new, created to focus on community fundraising which is a growing area with huge potential for PCR. We currently receive significant unsolicited income from our brilliant supporters, but there is a key opportunity to take a more proactive approach to recruiting new community fundraisers, improving their supporter experience and testing new offerings & products. You will work with the team to create and deliver a plan for this new proactive approach and will lead on day-to-day relationship management with fundraisers.

You will also lead the project management and delivery of some community-focused fundraising events. For example,our annual Snowdonia for Science event or testing new PCR-owned products which work for a community fundraising audience. We currently expect the split of time to be roughly 75% on community fundraising and 25% on events, but the two areas will be closely connected, and this split may change over time. We are excited to work with you to develop the direction of this role as the team and portfolio grows.

You will report to the Head of Events & Community and work closely with the whole team, as well as colleagues across PCR. Most of the Events team try to work together once a week when possible at our London office (Chancery Lane) but we have flexible working arrangements, so you can choose to be office based or hybrid. You would be needed to travel to regular supporter events across the UK (many of which are currently in the London/ SE England area) and to some team days in London on an ad-hoc basis. 

Key Responsibilities

At PCR, we make team members’ development a key priority and there is always a % of time available to collaborate more widely for your development and interest. However, your main focus will initially be:

Project management and income growth

• Create and lead a plan to implement a proactive community fundraising portfolio, identifying new approaches to test and audiences to target which build towards a long-term sustainable income stream, ensuring alignment with the Public Fundraising strategy.
• Design and deliver ambitious fundraising budgets for your area which contribute net income towards PCR’s mission.
• Lead the project management and delivery of the community fundraising and events activities you are responsible for.
• This will include monitoring objectives, budgets and the bigger picture to ensure opportunities are seized & risks are minimised.
• Carry out supporter data and income processing tasks as required, including on the CRM and other internal systems.

Stewardship and relationship management

• Interact with supporters via a range of communication channels and in-person, attending events and presenting about PCR’s work when required. This will include travel, for which TOIL will be given and reasonable expenses covered.
• Lead on relationship management for your area, spotting potential for fundraisers to have a greater impact with PCR as a whole, and working with colleagues in Philanthropy, Partnerships, Patient Projects & across the organisation to achieve this.
• Carry out stewardship tasks using tools like Mailchimp, GivePanel and JustGiving, for which training will be provided.
• Oversee stock management via our fulfilment house and ensure we have high-quality fundraising merchandise.

Product development and innovation

• Seize new opportunities for products, journeys or events which would engage a community fundraising audience, taking a test & learn approach. For this, there will be realistic budgets & an understanding of the investment needed for new ideas.
• Stay up to date with sector trends and maintain a strong understanding of PCR’s existing (and target) supporters to create and implement products and experiences that motivate and inspire.
• Use feedback and data to spot opportunities for the constant improvement of fundraisers’ experience with PCR.
• Work to engage supporters beyond their initial activity, testing ongoing journeys and maximising their life-time value for PCR.

Teamwork

• Alongside line managers within the team, help to oversee the relevant day-to-day work of the Supporter Engagement Officer/ Assistants who are supporting your activities, to ensure effective delivery and collaboration.
• Contribute to team strategy and capacity planning.
• Work with the team to embed our agile ways of working, modelling the principle of collective responsibility.
• Contribute to the improvement of relevant processes & infrastructure to ensure efficiency, compliance & best practice.

About the role

The post holder will undertake a broad range of facilities management, maintenance, compliance, health and safety, customer service and administrative duties across multiple sites, ensuring that all buildings are maintained to a high standard and statutory compliance obligations are met.

The role combines practical maintenance skills with excellent customer service and strong organisational ability, supporting the day-to-day operation of three busy community facilities.

Building Operations

• Open and prepare buildings each morning for operational use.
• Unlock, inspect and secure all buildings and external areas.
• Carry out daily opening and closing inspections.
• Ensure buildings remain safe, clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Prepare rooms for activities, meetings, training sessions and events.
• Set up and dismantle tables, chairs and equipment.
• Ensure rooms are returned to the required layout after use.
• Carry out daily walk-round inspections of all facilities.
• Report defects promptly to the Operations & Facilities Manager.
• Liaise with contractors attending site.
• Assist with contractor supervision where required.

Planned Maintenance

Undertake general maintenance including:

• Minor plumbing repairs.
• Minor carpentry repairs.
• Decorating and painting.
• Furniture assembly.
• Repairing fixtures and fittings.
• Replacing door furniture and locks.
• Replacing light bulbs and lamps.
• Clearing blocked gutters.
• General DIY repairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fundraising Delivery

· Deliver challenge and community fundraising campaigns and events that achieve agreed income and participation targets.

· Support the Community & Challenge Events Manager with the delivery and stewardship of Back Up's London Marathon programme, taking ownership of agreed areas of delivery.

· Support delivery of The Push, No Limits Ride, Do the Loop and other Back Up Challenge Events.

· Deliver accessible, inclusive Community fundraising opportunities.

Supporter Experience & Stewardship
