Responsibilities of our Data Selections Analyst:
Our Data Selections Analysts develop, run and maintain targeted data selections and multistage supporter journeys across a range of communication channels.
This role enables effective fundraising, fulfilment and engagement activity for supporters and customers across Cats Protection. Working closely with campaign owners, and colleagues across Data & Analytics, the role translates business requirements into accurate, supporter centric and compliant communications that support organisational objectives.
About the Data & Analytics team:
The Data & Analytics team are a department of 17 people in the Marketing & Income Generation directorate consisting of four sub-teams : data processing, data selections, data analytics and customer journeys.
The Data Selections sub-team manages and segments supporter and customer data to provide accurate, targeted selections for fundraising, marketing, and other charity communications and customer journeys, while ensuring data quality and compliance.
What we’re looking for in our Data Selections Analyst :
Substantial experience working with contact data within a CRM system or database (ideally in a fundraising context.)
Experience producing and adapting targeted marketing, fundraising or customer communication selections.
Experience interpreting business requirements and translating them into audience selections, segmentation or automated communication processes.
Experience using data selection, campaign management or marketing automation tools such as Apteco Faststats and PeopleStage or similar.
Experience writing queries using a structured language such as SQL or similar
Good understanding of data protection legislation and responsible data use in communications.

Responsibilities of our Data Analyst:
Delivery of actionable and highly effective supporter analysis, reports, dashboards and statistical models to inform the evidence-based decision making of the Marketing and Income Generation directorate.
Support departmental strategies and plans by analysing campaign effectiveness and providing a clear understanding of our audiences to optimise supporter journeys, improve targeting and drive engagement.
Assist the Lead Data Analyst in designing, planning and delivering data insight projects to enable the directorate to maintain a supporter-focused view, maximising the returns on Cat Protection’s investments.
About the Data & Analytics team:
The Data & Analytics team are a department in the Marketing & Income Generation directorate consisting of three sub-teams : data processing, data selections and data analytics.
The Analytics sub-team focuses specifically on reporting, post-campaign analysis and deep-dive analysis projects
We are a small team of 3 analysts, all working remotely
What we’re looking for in our Data Analyst :
Significant database marketing/fundraising experience with use and manipulation of data structures with a relational database management system
Significant data analysis and interpretation experience identifying key trends
Advanced knowledge of FastStats
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Full understanding of the data analysis process from briefing to delivery
Experience presenting analysis and managing stakeholder relationships

You will start at our entry point salary of £45,226 per annum, increasing to £48,053 after 6 months service and satisfactory performance and to £50,879 after a further 6 months.

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Lead for Engagement who is, first and foremost, a strong analyst. Someone who's built propensity models, next best action logic, or lifetime value analysis, and who understands how to turn that thinking into segmentation, selections, and audience strategies that improve engagement and fundraising outcomes. You will lead a team and shape how we understand our audiences, turning that understanding into action.

We’re looking for a highly skilled individual who will help build on our relationships and networks across Westminster, to deliver ambitious political leadership on a range of issues. The post holder will be responsible for leading advocacy interventions and providing political support to our policy experts, with a focus on Transport and Resources policy.
As a senior political adviser within the politics team, you will also be involved with, and lead on, major projects or themes of work across the political leadership theme (including the All Party Parliamentary Group on the Environment (APPG), which Green Alliance holds the secretariat for), managing and developing key external relationships and supporting the Director of politics as they lead the politics team.
You will need to be an exceptional communicator, adept at bringing people together around a shared vision and have the interpersonal skills to inspire and work across Green Alliance and liaise with our extensive network of partners.
You will be a highly organised, capable multi-tasker with experience managing projects and able to think on your feet, while managing multiple relationships and advocating plans concurrently.
The role entails identifying and leading on opportunities for the UK government to achieve environmental progress and implementing advocacy strategies to secure it. You will have direct access to senior policy makers and environmental leaders, so will need to articulate recommendations succinctly and persuasively.
The role requires excellent understanding of UK political processes (especially in Westminster, parliament and Whitehall) and experience of using it to influence policy effectively. Experience of operating within the system or of working directly with politicians and the media to achieve policy change would be a distinct advantage.
