JOB PURPOSE
The Supporter Engagement Executive will act as a central point of contact for all RLSS UK supporters across every fundraising income stream, ensuring they receive a warm, knowledgeable and professional experience whether they’re looking to find out more about RLSS UK, taking part in an activity, or choosing to donate.
You will play a key role in championing our supporters, helping us understand their needs and continuously improve their experience. By gathering feedback, spotting themes and sharing insights with the wider team, you’ll highlight opportunities and challenges that help shape how we engage with supporters in the future.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver excellent supporter care, including responding to email, post and telephone enquiries, issuing receipts, and carrying out donor follow‑up.
- Provide warm and consistent stewardship to donors, including personalised contact such as telephone calls, letters, handwritten cards and emails.
- Be the first point of contact for community groups, schools and clubs, offering guidance, support and fundraising materials.
- Support recruitment and stewardship of challenge event participants, ensuring they feel informed, motivated and appreciated.
- Support community fundraisers throughout their activity, providing resources, stewardship and encouragement.
- Record and track community fundraising activity within the CRM.
- Support the development and delivery of supporter journeys, helping ensure communications and touchpoints are timely and engaging.
- Manage stock of supporter materials, including running vests, swim caps, donation buckets and collection tins, ensuring timely fulfilment of requests.
- Assist with the implementation of the new CRM system, including accurate data entry and supporting the wider team during the transition.
- Maintain CRM data to a high standard, including running reports, tagging, updating preferences and ensuring excellent data governance.
- Accurately record donations and supporter correspondence within the CRM system.
- Provide administrative support to the Income Generation team, assisting with general tasks and contributing to the smooth running of fundraising activity.

- All other duties reasonably associated with your role, as directed by the Line Manager.
- Ensure compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 by complying with internal information governance policies and maintaining up-to-date documentation as part of RLSS UK’s compliance programme.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Relevant Experience, Skills and/or Aptitudes
- Experience of building positive relationships with customers, supporters or donors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a polite, confident and professional manner.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Competent IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience using CRM systems and/or working with customer or supporter data.
- Previous experience in customer service and administration, ideally in a busy environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
- A proactive, enthusiastic approach, with a willingness to take on a variety of duties.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection principles, especially in relation to handling supporter information.
- Awareness of the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice, or willingness to learn and work in accordance with it.

About the team
The Policy team is a small, collaborative and collegiate team looking to expand. We have a unique set-up, sitting separately to but working closely alongside the Communications team as part of the wider Public Affairs team. We influence key decision makers through direct engagement with senior officials, commissioning and sharing research and insight and supporting coalitions which include our portfolio charities to take their voice to decision makers to secure policy and funding commitments.
The team also works across the organisation, presenting insight to inform our investment decisions and making a compelling case to generate new financial commitments for our work.
About this role
The Research and Evidence Officer is a new and exciting role at Impetus, an organisation at the forefront of youth policy. Impetus is evidence led and impact focused and we take this approach to our policy and public affairs activity.
The successful candidate will provide the robust data and insights needed to help us build a better understanding of young people’s experiences across education and employment, support colleagues by providing accurate data, analysis and insight that informs policy development and communication designed to improve their outcomes, and support the team to create compelling cases for change tailored to a range of audiences. They will be line managed by the Head of Education Policy but work across both employment and education policy domains.
We are a busy team doing interesting and exciting work. Day-to-day you might be extracting insights from government published data, providing evidence for a policy briefing, drafting a report for a policy audience, or working with colleagues from across the team to communicate research findings in impactful ways, following agreed templates, processes and quality standards, and seeking clarification where needed.
We are looking for someone with a commitment to supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to get the support they need for a fulfilling life, whatever that means to them. You will have good knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods, have the skills required to analyse a range of data sets, including confidence applying quantitative research methods to conduct primary and secondary analysis of large and complex datasets, and the ability to present research findings clearly.

Key responsibilities
• Monitor monthly data releases and new research published across our areas of interest and record relevant information accurately following agreed templates and systems
• Use quantitative and qualitative research skills to support and contribute to the delivery of a range of research projects and reviews, conduct data analysis, and generate robust evidence across relevant policy areas and portfolio partner activity
• Translate complex data accurately into accessible reports, briefings, summaries, papers, presentations, and other content ensuring accuracy, clarity and adherence to organisational templates and approval processes
• Use research findings to provide accurate evidence and summaries that support colleagues in developing policy positions, evaluating proposals, and proposing evidence-based solutions
• Prepare accurate briefing materials and background notes to support senior colleagues on relevant policy areas ahead of meetings and events (speaking events, roundtables, and senior-level stakeholder meetings)
• Collaborate with the Communications team to develop content for external priority audiences to maintain and grow the profile of policy work, by preparing draft summaries, data points and visuals in line with agreed templates and style guides
• Support the policy team in gathering, organising, summarising and using evidence from portfolio partners
• Support internal team processes by monitoring an allocated set of information sources, providing content for internal and external newsletters, ensuring information management systems are kept up to date and accurate (e.g. briefing packs, team calendar)

• Support the Heads of Policy to build and maintain relationships with researchers, academics, and the education sector by writing briefings, maintaining a contact database, and representing Impetus’ interests at events

About the opportunity
As Treasury Manager within our Finance & Assurance directorate, you'll own our Treasury and Accounts Receivable functions, playing a vital role in our financial sustainability. About the role
As Events Fundraising Manager, you will lead, shape and deliver an exciting portfolio of fundraising events, including virtual challenges, our annual Golf Day, and Headway’s prestigious Annual Awards. As the Senior Manager: Specialist & Outreach Services, you will provide strong, visible leadership to Catalyst Support’s specialist and outreach provision, with an initial core focus on the Cuckooing Assertive Outreach Service. About you
We are looking for candidates with:
- A relevant professional qualification in mental health, substance use, criminal justice, social care or a related field and/or substantial equivalent professional experience, with a strong applied understanding of trauma-informed and outreach-based practice.
- Significant experience working in specialist, outreach or community-based services, supporting people experiencing multiple disadvantage, including exploitation, domestic abuse, substance use, mental ill-health and criminal justice involvement.

About Adolescent Health Study
The Adolescent Health Study (AHS) is an ambitious new UKRI-funded initiative to establish a prospective, longitudinal population study that will generate a globally leading open science data platform and research resource. AHS aims to recruit at least 100,000 young people from across the UK and to follow their mental and physical health and wellbeing over at least 10 years. It plans to collect data through questions and measures; to obtain bio-samples for a wide range of genomic and other high-throughput assays; and to capture linked data relevant to health and wellbeing from participants’ health, education and other administrative records. There will be a strong emphasis on engaging with and involving young people, schools, parents and other relevant stakeholders in the design and delivery of the study, as well as on including young people that represent as wide as possible a range of backgrounds, experiences and characteristics. AHS will focus on enabling a wide range of research, including studies of the critical biological and social developments that occur during the transition from childhood to adulthood and the determinants of both mental and physical health and wellbeing in adolescents and young adults.
Purpose of the post
The Study Delivery and Governance Lead will play a central role in ensuring AHS meets the highest ethical, governance and regulatory standards. The post holder will lead the development, submission and oversight of the AHS Research Tissue Bank application, coordinate ethical approvals and ongoing amendments, and provide governance leadership to support study development and delivery.
They will also oversee elements of study set up and delivery, supporting the development of piloting tools and protocols, and addressing operational and logistical considerations necessary for successful delivery. They will line‑manage Research Officers and Senior Research Officers, contributing to a cohesive, high‑functioning team.
Main responsibilities
Research Governance
- Lead the full process of developing, drafting, and submitting the AHS Research Tissue Bank (RTB) application.
- Manage ongoing approvals, amendments, renewals and reporting obligations to Research Ethics Committees, the Health Research Authority, the Confidentiality Advisory Group and other regulatory bodies.
- Develop, implement and maintain governance frameworks, SOPs and quality assurance processes required for RTB operation, keeping abreast of developments in the regulatory landscape.
- Maintain accurate documentation, version control and quality‑assurance procedures relating to ethics and regulatory submissions.
- Act as key point of contact for research governance‑related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
Study Development & Planning
- Work closely with the Senior Programme Manager to contribute to the design and refinement of study protocols, piloting phases and operational plans.
- Lead the planning and delivery of specific study workstreams, as required, defining milestones, tracking progress, and identifying interdependencies as the study develops.
- Coordinate cross‑team activity involving research, data, operations and engagement teams to ensure study components are integrated and delivered effectively.
Project Management & Coordination
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans for governance and study‑delivery workstreams as required, ensuring roadmaps are accurate, realistic and kept up to date.
- Identify, track and mitigate risks related to both governance and delivery, escalating as appropriate and working collaboratively to resolve issues.
- Prepare reports and briefings for AHS governance structures (e.g., AHS Executive, Board of Trustees, Scientific Advisory Board).
Team Leadership & Line Management
- Provide mentoring and day‑to‑day guidance on governance‑related queries, ethics submissions and documentation development.
- Line manage selected staff within the study team, supporting workload planning, professional development and quality assurance.
- Foster effective team working across research, operational and scientific colleagues.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams including scientific leads, operational delivery, data management and engagement teams.
- Represent AHS with external partners related to governance, regulatory support, tissue banking and operational delivery.
- Work with the engagement team to ensure young people are involved in all elements of the study development and delivery.
Knowledge, skills and experience
Essential criteria
- Extensive experience in research governance, NHS research ethics management, clinical research management or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience drafting protocols, participant documents and regulatory submissions.
- Strong understanding of ethical and regulatory frameworks including the Human Tissue Act, UK GDPR, and NHS research ethics processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear and actionable guidance for colleagues.

About the role
Are you a Project Manager who thrives in global, mission-driven environments? We are hiring a Project Manager to be based in either our London or Brussels office. This role exists to provide a clear project management framework, training, leadership, advice, facilitation, structure, and accountability across complex initiatives, helping the organisation maximise resources and achieve measurable results.
Meet your Manager
In this role, you will be managed by Pau Jimenez Ingles. Pau leads the organizational improvement project program, overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of initiatives aligned with the organization’s strategic goals. His role is to ensure that every project is meticulously coordinated, meets established deadlines, and delivers the intended impact. Pau joined ClientEarth in 2020, following a career managing events and projects across Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Prior to his current role, he has managed projects at The Scout Association, where he also worked as an educational programme designer. His diverse professional background also includes experience as a registered nurse, providing him with a unique perspective on crisis management and operational care. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the Universitat de Barcelona and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from City St George's, University of London. He has further enhanced his project management expertise with professional certifications in Facilitation, Lean Six Sigma, and PRINCE2.
Main Duties
- Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across internal teams and external partners
- Identify project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans and ensuring timely resolution.
- Support acting Project Managersto follow project management best practice as established in the Organisational Project Management Framework.
- Support and monitor organisational programme performance, preparing regular progress reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for senior leadership.

Role requirements
- Project Management qualification (essential)
- Significant experience of delivering projects from inception to completion, involving IT systems and change management initiatives (essential)
- Experience responding to competing deadlines and managing multiple tasks and priorities within a working environment (essential)
- Experience of managing a portfolio of projects or programme within a medium to large organisation. (essential)
