Our work has contributed to significant policy developments, helping improve the lives of individuals, families and communities across the country. We are now looking for an experienced communications and marketing professional to join our team during an exciting period of development. 

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead the communications and marketing function of one of Wales' most influential policy organisations.

As Head of Communications and Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the Foundation's communications and marketing strategy, ensuring our research, ideas and impact reach key audiences effectively. You will help strengthen the organisation's profile, extend its influence and support income generation through both fundraising and commercial activity.

This is a varied role that combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery. You'll work across all aspects of communications and marketing, from developing campaigns and managing social media to writing engaging content and supporting organisational growth. You will also line manage a member of the communications and marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the Bevan Foundation's communications and marketing strategy.
• Develop compelling content across a range of digital and traditional channels.
• Manage and grow the organisation's social media presence.
• Raise the profile and influence of the Foundation's research and policy work.
• Support income generation through fundraising and commercial marketing activity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners and supporters.
• Manage marketing campaigns, digital communications and brand development.
• Line manage and support a member of the communications and marketing team.
• Work collaboratively across the organisation to ensure effective promotion of projects, publications and events.

About You

We're looking for an outstanding communicator and marketer with:

• Experience delivering strategic communications and marketing activity.
• Strong content creation and copywriting skills.
• Experience communicating complex information clearly and persuasively.
• A track record of supporting income generation or fundraising activity.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Creativity, initiative and the ability to generate new ideas.
• A commitment to the Bevan Foundation's vision and values.
