The Global Media and Celebrity Team is part of WaterAid's award-winning Communications and Fundraising Directorate. We lead the organisation’s UK and global news and PR strategies, manage media relations for UK and international media outlets and journalists, develop and deliver creative, innovative campaigns, and support other WaterAid global offices with their press and communications.
The talent function ensures we have a portfolio of high profile talent, content creators and influencers to meaningfully drive awareness, raise funds and action for our work.
About the role
The Content Creator & Celebrity Manager, leads WaterAid’s digital talent strategy to drive and elevate our ambitious communications, fundraising and influencing activities. Aligned with our strategic aims, this role is responsible for identifying, and engaging digital talent and their teams, by bringing their know-how, cultural connections and entrepreneurial flair to deliver impactful results.
In this role, you will:
Lead on delivering a digital talent strategy for WaterAid’s brand, fundraising and political campaigning activities that aligns with the social and digital teams aims:
- Building on the exposure from the #TeamWater campaign in 2025, lead on engaging the YouTube creator community to strategically engage and meaningfully grow our Gen Z audience on the channel.
- Drive and deliver strategic online and offline talent engagement for WaterAid UK organisational priorities, securing talent, creator and influencer support for key communications campaigns and projects
- Lead in developing ideas and implementing new income streams with talent online and on social channels.
- Lead with internal and external stakeholders and help shape decisions around how to progress projects.
- Responsible for strong relationship building and management with talent and their agents, and ensuring they deliver on their commitments.
To be successful, you will need:
- 4 years+ Proven experience of working with high-profile personalities (celebrities and influencers and content creators)
- Experience of creating content for and strategically growing YouTube channels
- Extensive experience in and knowledge of digital marketing and social media – spanning earned, owned, shared and paid
- Established network of media contacts, talent agents, or content creators.
- Proven experience of generating income streams through talent and online engagement activities
- Experience of delivering impactful talent-led activities that achieve earned and shared reach for campaigns across different digital channels.
- In depth technical expertise (for example, in the mechanics of video creation) is not essential. Knowing where to get great content and how to get it seen is.
- Demonstrable creativity to develop new ideas, collaborate with others and spot opportunities for growth.
- Experience of delivering earned and shared reach for campaigns via talent support
- An experienced and confident presenter/negotiator used to dealing with both internal and external clients
- An effective decision maker, and able to ground decisions in what will make most impact towards the achievement of the strategy.
- Proven experience of working with in-house media teams or directly with the media on celebrity opportunities
- Crisis communications, risk management and safeguarding management experience; proven ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Experience of managing projects and motivating others and driving change.
- Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in communications
Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
- Experience working within the non-profit or social impact space.
- Experience in strategic communications in an international, matrix organisation
- Familiarity with fundraising campaigns and donor engagement.

The Role
Reporting to the Director, this is an exciting opportunity to lead and strengthen our fundraising strategy, ensuring sustainable growth in income to support our mission of protecting and restoring tropical forests and inspiring climate action.
The Fundraising Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing an ambitious fundraising strategy, with a strong focus on corporate partnerships and trusts.
Working closely with the Director, Deputy Director, Finance and Grants Manager and Communications and Digital Marketing Manager, you will drive forward fundraising targets, cultivate new opportunities, and consolidate existing partnerships. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on delivery, ensuring our fundraising approach is robust, ethical, and aligned with our values.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Development and Income Generation
● Develop and deliver a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the charity (with a strong but not exclusive focus on corporate partnerships), aligned with the charity’s 5-year strategic plan.
● Research, identify, and build a pipeline of new funding opportunities to diversify and expand income streams, such as corporate partners, trusts and foundations, high net worth individuals and individual giving.
● Prepare due diligence checks on potential new funding opportunities to be presented to the board / senior management.
● Develop compelling cases for support and tailored proposals to secure significant income from corporate partners primarily.
2. Systems and Process Improvement
● Establish and implement new systems for organising, stewarding, and monitoring corporate funders, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
● Introduce clear processes for donor stewardship, including trackers, reporting templates and potentially a new CRM system.
● Ensure all fundraising activities comply with fundraising regulations, data protection requirements, and ethical fundraising principles.
3. Relationship Management and Stewardship
● Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective corporate funders through effective stewardship and engagement.
● Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent relationship management for corporate partners.
● Work with the Communications and Marketing Manager to maximise fundraising campaigns such as the Big Give.
4. Events and Engagement
● Lead on the planning and delivery of a flagship summer event designed to attract funders, with the aim of securing new partnerships and long-term support.
● Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the event is well-promoted, impactful, and aligned with the charity’s mission.
● Organise and attend meetings, presentations, and other events to engage with funders and promote the charity’s work.
5. Reporting and Evaluation
● Monitor and report on fundraising income targets, maintaining accurate records of all funders and partnerships.
● Working with the relevant programmes teams, provide regular impact reports to funders, demonstrating the outcomes of their support.
● Evaluate the success of fundraising initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
6. Team Collaboration
● Work collaboratively across the team to develop funding proposals and case studies.
● Work closely with the Communications and Digital Fundraising Manager to develop online donations and regular gifts and improve the digital marketing and eNewsletter (for increasing donations).
● Contribute to innovative fundraising campaigns and activities.
● Support and participate in wider organisational activities, including events and cross‑team initiatives as required.
● Contribute to annual budget setting and targets for fundraising.
● Line management of volunteers as required.
Training will be provided to ensure that all candidates feel supported in their role and progress in their career development. Welsh language training will be offered to support learning if necessary. IT training in WordPress and other essential software will also be offered. Travel across Wales will be required.

As Lead Business Analyst (Data) at the National Lottery Community Fund, you will be the strategic authority for data and analysis, operating across all levels of the organisation within a multidisciplinary, agile digital environment (by partnering and cross functional working with digital, technology, business intelligence and funding teams). As a recognised subject matter expert, you will provide thought leadership and authoritative guidance in all aspects of data, business, and systems analysis, ensuring the Fund’s digital and organisational ambitions are realised.
You will set a clear strategic direction for data and analysis, navigating complexity and engaging confidently with senior audiences to influence decisions at pace. About the Role
The Events & Community Fundraising Manager is an integral part of our ambitious and forward-thinking Fundraising & Communications team.

Job DescriptionYou’ll join Marie Curie’s in-house Creative team, working closely with colleagues across Marketing, Fundraising, Digital, Events and Communications. The team is responsible for delivering high-quality, on-brand creative across all channels, from fundraising campaigns and supporter communications to digital experiences and print materials. You’ll lead a well-established, talented team of designers and collaborate with external agencies and suppliers to bring the charity’s work to life.
As Design Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Marie Curie’s visual identity and creative output. By setting design standards, inspiring your team, and championing innovation, you’ll ensure our creative work is consistently high quality, inclusive, and impactful. Your leadership will help strengthen our brand, deepen engagement with supporters and audiences, and support the charity in achieving its organisational and fundraising goals.
Your Impact:
- Lead and champion design excellence across the organisation, ensuring all creative outputs align with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain a clear design vision that resonates with diverse audiences and supports Marie Curie’s mission.
- Inspire, manage and develop a team of designers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- Oversee end-to-end design delivery, from concept to execution, ensuring quality, accessibility and deadlines are met.
- Work closely with the Studio Manager to plan resources and balance workloads across multiple projects.
- Own and develop key visual assets and lead the photography plan, working closely with the Stories team.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate briefs into compelling, effective design solutions.
- Ensure inclusive and accessible design principles are embedded in all outputs.
- Maintain governance standards, including brand compliance, copyright and legal requirements.
- Build strong relationships with external agencies and creative suppliers.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience leading a high-performing design team in a creative or brand-led environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence across digital and print design.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with emerging design tools and trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience delivering a wide range of creative outputs, including digital, print, merchandise, photography and environments.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Experience in the charity, healthcare or purpose-led sector is desirable but not essential.
- A genuine commitment to Marie Curie’s mission and values.

Salary: £37,000-40,000 per annum, depending on experience
