We are recruiting an experienced and ambitious Public Fundraising Manager who will share our compassion and commitment to animal welfare, to lead on the delivery of our public fundraising programme This role manages activity across individual giving, community & events, legacies and in memory, ensuring it aligns with our strategic goals and delivers long-term, sustainable income from these income streams.
Our Public Fundraising Manager is integral to our ambition to broaden our reach and deepen our impact by shaping our mass fundraising activities and working on integrated campaigns with the Fundraising Team, wider colleagues and external suppliers. This is a highly visible and important role for Mayhew and will work across departments to strengthen our case for support and employ it across a range of mass fundraising products, retention and acquisition channels, as well as delivering excellent stewardship and supporter experience.
As a senior member of the Fundraising Team, this role spans strategic planning and operational delivery and the successful candidate will be able to pivot from working closely with the Head of Fundraising to identify new growth opportunities, to project managing a direct mail appeal, to supporting their line reports to optimise their own day-to-day work and processes.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and resourceful fundraising manager with a keen eye for detail and proven experience of meeting or exceeding income targets. We are looking for someone with a focus on individual giving and experience in at least one of community & events or legacies, with a keen ability to use data to deliver insight-led activity and supporter journeys. We are looking for someone who shares our ambitions to grow our income significantly over the coming years, and face into challenges and opportunities along the way, and who will inspire trust and enthusiasm in their team and across the organisation.
Generally, you will:
- Provide leadership and support to the Head of Fundraising as part of the fundraising team
- Deliver against income targets (£2.7m in 2026) and maximise the unrestricted impact of cash and regular giving income
- Develop and implement effective onward fundraising donor journeys, including legacy marketing
- Proactively improve supporter care processes, operations and relationships
- Lead innovation in our public fundraising approach in a test and learn culture
- Collaborate proactively across the organisation to find, develop and share stories that will inspire support
- Be a positive, empathetic people manager, inspiring your team and leading by example.
To be successful in this role, you need relevant experience in:
- A fundraising role in a charity of comparable breadth and scope with proven success in growing income, with experience in individual giving and one of community & events or legacies
- Being a great project manager and successfully managing multiple, often competing projects through to delivery
- Budget development and management, including regular forecasting
- Identifying and successfully implementing proactive initiatives to grow and diversify income
- Reporting and monitoring success so as to adapt and refine fundraising projects and products
- Successfully motivating, managing, and developing a team, whether through line management or project/stakeholder management

Are you an experienced Fundraising Manager who can help us manage an exciting and developing direct marketing programme for our amazing supporters?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Supporter Involvement Manager to join the St Mungo’s Fundraising department for a 6 month fixed term contract until 1 October 2026, where you will cover an internal sabbatical and help to oversee our Supporter Involvement Team.
Over the 6 months you will have the opportunity to get involved with:
- Helping us manage a busy programme of offline communications.
- Ensuring our data selections and segmentation runs smoothly and accurately.
- Developing the programme including the introduction of a new telemarketing programme.
In this role you will work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in London. This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.
While our Central Office is currently based in Tower Hill, London we plan to relocate in the summer of 2026 to a new space in Farringdon, London.

We are looking for someone with a strong track record of running a direct marketing programme of multiple simultaneous projects. If you can bring the below we want to hear from you:
- To succeed you will need extensive experience of working with Razers Edge on both selections and queries.
- You will have experience of working independently on projects, as well as leading a team successfully.
- You will demonstrate the experience, and ability to step into this role, and help us continue our programme development.

As this role is temporary maternity cover, we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and get involved with multiple projects straight away. To be successful in this role you will:

About Tiphereth
Tiphereth is a Camphill community in Edinburgh providing residential care and day services for adults with learning disabilities and autism. We are part of the wider Camphill movement, which emphasises intentional community living, meaningful work and shared life between people with and without support needs.
Our community brings together over 200 people with our members, staff, vocational co-worker and volunteers across residential homes, supported living services and vibrant day services. We operate craft workshops, horticulture programmes, a pop-up shop and participate in local markets. Our work is underpinned by anthroposophical principles and a deep commitment to human dignity, inclusion and the belief that everyone has a meaningful contribution to make.
Tiphereth is at an exciting point in its development. Following a successful financial recovery and the launch of our Five-Year Strategy, we are investing in our capacity to grow sustainably. This new Director-level role is central to that ambition, leading our efforts to diversify income, build lasting supporter relationships and tell the story of our community to the wider world.
Role’s Primary Objective
The Fundraising (and associated marketing development) Manager is a senior leadership position, reporting directly to the CEO and sitting alongside other senior managers on the Senior Management Team. This is a newly created role with significant scope to shape Tiphereth's external engagement and income generation strategy.
In Year One, you will be hands-on across the full breadth of fundraising and marketing activity, building the infrastructure, strategy and relationships needed for long-term success. From Year Two onwards, you will have the opportunity to recruit and develop a small team covering marketing and communications, community fundraising, and grant and trust applications.
This role requires someone who can operate strategically whilst also delivering at pace. You will need to be equally comfortable presenting to the Board as you are drafting a grant application or stewarding a major donor. Above all, you will need to connect authentically with our ethos and be able to communicate the distinctive value of Camphill community life to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising and marketing strategy aligned with Tiphereth's Five-Year Plan and organisational values
• Work towards strategic income targets including a minimum £250,000 in major donor engagement over five years and increasing non-government income to 10% of total revenue
• Identify, develop and secure new fundraising opportunities to maximise income potential and expand Tiphereth's supporter base
• Provide strategic advice to the CEO and Board on fundraising trends, opportunities and risks
• Build business cases for capital projects and new initiatives requiring external funding
2. Major Gifts and Philanthropy
• Identify, cultivate and steward a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and family foundations with capacity to make transformative gifts
• Develop compelling cases for support and funding proposals for capital projects and programme development
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with donors, ensuring exceptional stewardship and regular impact reporting
• Support the CEO and trustees in their donor engagement activities, preparing briefings and facilitating introductions
• Maximise tax-efficient giving through Gift Aid and other mechanisms
3. Grants and Trusts
• Research and develop a pipeline of grant-making trusts and foundations aligned with Tiphereth's work
• Write and submit high-quality funding applications, working collaboratively with service managers to develop project proposals
• Maintain accurate records of applications, outcomes and reporting requirements
• Build relationships with programme officers and foundation staff to strengthen future applications
4. Marketing and Communications
• Lead the development and implementation of Tiphereth's marketing and communications strategy
• Oversee brand management, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all channels, including timely responses to donors and interested parties
• Develop engaging content including the Annual Impact Report, newsletters, social media and website
• Champion digital fundraising initiatives and enhance supporter journeys to improve engagement and retention
• Raise Tiphereth's profile through media engagement, events and participation in sector networks
5. Community Fundraising and Events
• Develop and grow community fundraising income including individual giving, regular giving and legacy programmes
• Plan and deliver fundraising events and supporter engagement activities that reflect Tiphereth's values
• Support and coordinate third-party fundraising by community supporters
• Explore corporate partnership opportunities aligned with our ethos
6. Team Development and Management
• Build the case for and recruit specialist roles in marketing, community fundraising and grant-writing as capacity grows (from Year Two)
• Lead, manage and develop team members, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture
• Manage budgets for fundraising and marketing activities, monitoring performance and return on investment
• Provide clear reporting on fundraising performance to the CEO and subsequently to the Board

About the role
We’re looking for a senior digital marketing officer – email to deliver high performing email campaigns and automations to support the charity’s activity. You’ll work autonomously and collaboratively with all teams across Breast Cancer Now to deliver and improve our email marketing.

The Role:
Our client is looking to appoint a Regular Giving and Legacy Giving Manager to oversee a sector-leading, multi-channel appeal programme to increase numbers of gifts and donors to the University. Following the launch of this leading universities bold and ambitious strategy they are preparing to launch a comprehensive fundraising campaign. The Regular Giving and Legacy Giving team will play a pivotal role in bringing about a step-change in regular, mid-value and legacy donations to the University.
You will oversee and implement the overall strategy and supporter journey for alumni and donors primarily through direct mail, telephone, email and social media.
After an internal promotion, an exciting role has arisen with opportunities for the postholder to oversee an award-winning acquisition campaign, a brand-new mid-value programme and a successful legacy marketing programme. You will be instrumental in building collaboration with the Alumni Engagement team to promote philanthropy and take alumni on a journey to their first gift.
This position is based in West London (Central Line) offering a hybrid working pattern of mostly 2 days a week which are Tuesdays and Thursdays, with some requirements to come in 3 days per week when needed.
What you would be doing:
Working across the Regular Giving & Legacy Giving team, you will oversee supporter journeys for donors, working on cases for support, appeal development and data segmentation. You will have the opportunity to pilot new ideas as well as delivering a mature and sector-leading programme.
Working across Advancement, you will build relationships with key internal stakeholders especially the Alumni Engagement team, Major Gift, and Event teams to capitalise on opportunities to embed regular giving and legacy messaging in all University activities.

- Proven track record of line management and professionally developing members of staff
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaboration among key stakeholders and teams

As Legacy and In-Memory Manager you will be responsible for leading your team to drive transformational change, through the delivery of our legacy and in-memory growth strategy.

About The Job:
This is a vital role in delivering our fundraising strategy and goals. The role holder will be responsible for raising income from individuals and legacies and increasing the volume and value of our supporter relationships, engaging new audiences and driving sustainable income growth. Main Areas Of Responsibility:
Income Generation
· Lead on raising income to an agreed target, through acquisition, development and retention of individuals and legacy pledgers, as agreed with the Head of Fundraising and Communications.
Strategy
· Work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to build and deliver a highly effective, sustainable, audience-centred public fundraising and supporter experience plan.
· Engage in market and supporter insight to inform decision-making and development of new activity/products.
· Develop a good understanding of our supporter base, their motivations and behaviours. Use our CRM database (Raisers’ Edge NXT) and data analysis and insights to inform the development of new fundraising campaigns and products.
· Take the lead role in the development of effective supporter journeys, working with the Community Fundraising Team to convert community fundraisers and events participants into regular donors.
· Lead the design and delivery of individual giving campaigns (including the Christmas campaign), using direct mail, digital marketing and advertisements to drive supporter acquisition and retention.
· Develop and design our legacy programme, working with Farewill and local law firms to encourage supporters to include Homeless Oxfordshire in their will.
· Work with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to develop and deliver a mid-level giving programme, driving the major donor pipeline and effectively stewarding donors giving at the £300-£1,000 level.
Operational Delivery
· Be responsible for the setting and managing of budgets, targets and KPIs. Report on progress, trends and take action when required. Analyse results and evaluate activity to inform future plans.
· Act as the lead-user for Raisers’ Edge, supervise the Data Administrator to ensure accurate data entry and reconciliation, and support the team with reporting and data analysis.
· Work collaboratively to ensure that all income generation activity is integrated and opportunities for cross-team working are maximised.
· Develop processes that enhance the team’s capacity, efficiency, and ensure effective fundraising.
· Manage external partners and agencies involved in fundraising delivery, ensuring due diligence, high quality and effectiveness.
· Ensure the highest standard of supporter experience in order to make the most of every interaction.
· Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all areas of the public fundraising portfolio, including the Fundraising Code of Practice, Data Protection and Gift Aid. Model best practice and coach team member as required.
Leadership
· Line manage the Data Administrator, supporting them on reconciliation, data entry and gift processing.
· Provide management information for SMT and the Board of Trustees as requested and attending meetings when required.
· Build positive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
· Represent the charity at external meetings as and when required.
· Engage with the wider charity sector, learning from peers and sharing best practice.
