Introduction and Purpose of the post:
We are seeking an experienced, values-driven Clinical Services Manager to provide clinical leadership, operational oversight, and strategic development for our Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression service.
You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, high-quality, and culturally responsive psychological therapies, while supporting and developing a multidisciplinary clinical team.
This role combines clinical leadership, service management, workforce development, and quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on inclusive practice and community accountability.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Clinical & Professional Leadership

Provide senior clinical leadership across the service, ensuring safe and ethical practice in line with professional, legal, and organisational standards.

Maintain oversight of clinical risk, safeguarding, and governance arrangements.

Promote culturally responsive, anti-oppressive, and LGBTQ+ affirmative clinical practice.
Service Management & Development

Lead day-to-day operational management of the Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression service

Oversee access, waiting times, outcomes, and service performance

Use data, feedback, and community insight to drive service improvement

Contribute to service development, innovation, and funding or commissioning requirements
Workforce Leadership & Supervision

Line manage clinical staff, including therapists, supervisors, and trainees

Ensure high-quality clinical supervision, reflective practice, and CPD opportunities.

Foster a supportive, psychologically safe, and inclusive team culture

Provide training, supervision, guidance, and consultation to other professionals who directly contribute to the formulation and treatment of individual patients, including those in other teams within the organisation.

The Head of HR is a new role for the organisation. Over the last few years, the organisation and our staff team have grown significantly. To enable us to achieve our mission to give all young people a home, it is crucial that we make a significant shift in our HR and people plans so that staff and managers have all the support they need to succeed in these challenging times. To do so, we need to make a strategic shift with our HR capacity, improve our people systems, and make NHYC a great place to work for our 70+ strong staff team. You will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to develop and implement NHYC’s People strategy for 2025-2030, taking on a varied role around key areas of organisational development and HR operations. You will need to build strong and trusting relationships with staff from across the organisation and act as a key advisor to the Executive Team.
We are happy to consider candidates taking their first step into leadership and we will consider exceptional part time candidates to ensure we find the right person or people for the role. About the role
Do you live in Cardiff or the surrounding area?
As a senior community fundraiser, you’ll will an important part of the team building Breast Cancer Now’s presence in Wales, with a particular focus on South Wales.
We’re looking for someone who is an experienced relationship builder, someone who can find and develop new supporters. You’ll need excellent local knowledge, and the enthusiasm to develop the local region.
The successful candidate will also be part of the team working on our large-scale project supporting and growing Asda Tickled Pink, our award-winning partnership with Asda and CoppaFeel! which has already raised over £100 million.
You’ll work directly with passionate colleagues across Asda stores in your region driving new fundraising initiatives, inspiring communities, and celebrating their incredible successes.
No 2 days will look the same as you travel, connect and engage supporters to help us grow income to deliver our mission.
The role is initially offered as an 18-month contract with the potential to become permanent.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
Confident in approaching new contacts and are experienced in developing new relationships from scratch. This may currently be in a customer service, account management or stewardship role.
Experienced in managing and building new and established relationships with a focus on retention and income growth.
Enthusiastic, proactive, organised and unafraid to test and try new ideas.
This role will involve being out and about in the community you’re building, so you must be able to work independently outside of the office in varying locations and enjoy being busy.
Previous experience working in a charity is not required. The ability to speak Welsh would be desirable.

Primary location of role
The candidate will need to be based in Cardiff or the surrounding area with unlimited access to their own car. Regular travel will be required to meet supporters and visit Asda stores in your region, as well as occasional travel to our London, office.
