We are looking for an experienced and driven fundraiser with strong leadership skills to play a pivotal role in contributing income for Moya Cole Hospice. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, engage and inspire a committed fundraising team across a range of disciplines.

You will grow support through motivating the team to give excellent stewardship of supporters, effective promotion of fundraising initiatives and building a strong and sustainable volunteer network within the community. The Role

The Fundraising Manager will: 

• Manage a team of fundraisers to deliver growth and diversification of fundraising across community, corporate, events and philanthropy income streams
• Deliver Income in line with the budget as agreed with the Head of Fundraising
• Work closely with the Fundraising and Communication team to ensure activities are maximised.
• Deliver inspiring team meetings, workshops and training to develop the skills of the fundraising team.
• Ensure effective use of the organisation’s fundraising database by all staff to provide effective information and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Attend networking events and meetings with potential donors
• Promote effective management of the health and safety of all staff and volunteers involved in fundraising activity, including the preparation of risk assessments
• In conjunction with the Innovation and Digital Fundraiser facilitate the testing of new platforms for fundraising which will increase and sustain income and the visibility of hospice fundraising within communities.
• To work with non-fundraising teams across the hospice to ensure promotion of fundraising activity, excellent supporter care and knowledge of hospice activities.
• To work closely with the Communications team to ensure that supporter stories are shared with the wider public and community events are promoted effectively.
• To plan work to inform and facilitate the achievement of the budget and maintain thorough record keeping in line with Moya Cole Hospice and Fundraising Regulator policies and guidelines.

Requirements

The Fundraising Manager will have: 

• Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience; substantial practical fundraising experience is essential
• Significant, hands-on experience of delivering successful fundraising across multiple income streams in the UK charity sector (including community, corporate, events and philanthropy), with the capability to lead across all areas
• Proven track record of leading, motivating and developing teams, including effective management of people processes, to deliver strong results
• Demonstrate strong IT capability, including Microsoft 365 (particularly Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Excel and PowerPoint), with the ability to produce high-quality progress reports and presentations
• Experience of using Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM systems to support fundraising activity, data management and reporting
• Manage budgets effectively, including forecasting, financial performance monitoring and income planning
• Proven ability to analyse and interpret data, produce performance reports, and use insight to inform decision making and drive income growth, including developing robust strategic business cases and reporting to senior stakeholders
• Fully conversant with legal and regulatory requirements relating to fundraising, including the Code of Fundraising Practice, data protection and information governance, ensuring compliant and ethical practice
• Lead the recruitment of staff and oversee the effective recruitment, engagement and management of fundraising volunteers
• Ability to travel independently as required for the role, including cross-site working and attending events
• Work collaboratively with other members of the fundraising team and wider hospice for the benefit of supporters and the hospice

About the Role

Ready to help young people move forward with confidence? We’re seeking a proactive Progression Coach to support 18–25‑year‑olds at risk of homelessness to secure housing, stabilize finances and engage in work, learning or training. You’ll manage your own caseload, deliver tailored one‑to‑one support in the community, and use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy principles to build resilience, motivation and independence.

You’ll be confident working autonomously and collaboratively—creating robust risk assessments and outcomes‑focused support plans, recording impact clearly, and partnering with local services, landlords and community organisations to get results. Safeguarding, professionalism and reflective practice will sit at the heart of your work.

This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting vulnerable young people in fast‑paced environments, who believes in strengths‑based practice and positive change. KEY DELIVERABLES

In the 1980s, high unemployment and steep inflation was contributing to a shocking rise in youth homelessness across London. Thousands of young people were sleeping rough every night, with many areas notoriously dubbed “cardboard cities” due to the visible rise in street homelessness. Living Wage Places

The Living Wage Places scheme is pioneering a collaborative, place-based approach to tackling in-work poverty. Local action groups made up of public and private sector Living Wage Employers, work together with charities, unions and civil society on a three-year action plan to tackle local in-work poverty and grow the number of employers committed to the Living Wage, Living Hours and Living Pensions.

Since the scheme launched in 2019, we have recognised 20 cities, boroughs and city-regions for Making Living Wage Places.

Main Responsibilities

The Programme Manager for Living Wage Places plays a central role in delivering and growing a pioneering, place-based approach to tackling in-work poverty. The role is responsible for managing and developing the Living Wage Places programme, supporting local action groups to deliver ambitious action plans, and embedding wider standards including Living Hours and Living Pensions. They will be the first point of contact for regional leads seeking guidance in their work/regions. Working across a broad range of internal teams and external stakeholders, the Programme Manager will build strategic partnerships, strengthen regional networks, and ensure effective monitoring, evaluation and learning across the programme. Job Summary

As Senior IDVA you will work within a dynamic, fast-paced crisis intervention, advocacy, and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. This role combines oversight of the Duty IDVA service with specialist responsibility for MARAC coordination and participation. You will lead on MARAC responsibilities, oversee the Duty service, line manage two Duty IDVAs, support the Angelou Service Manager with administrative tasks, and hold a reduced caseload providing high-quality advocacy and support based on client-led needs and risk assessments.

You will ensure that the Duty service runs effectively, maintaining referral pathways, ensuring that documents and procedures are in place and embedded into working practice supporting those covering duty as required.

You will line manage the Duty IDVAs and will manage the allocation of cases from duty, liaising with Managers. You will assist the Manager with data collection, data analysis and problem solving.

Acting as the MARAC lead for the team you will oversee the quality of the internal MARAC process, ensuring cases are prepared and presented effectively, attend MARAC meetings on a rota basis and follow up on agreed actions.

You will also contribute to duty work, conducting calls and initial assessments and responding to crises, working within the team to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women referred to our service.

You will have an excellent understanding of domestic violence and its effects on women and children and of best practice within the domestic abuse sector and in working with women with children. The post holder will be proficient in data collection and case work recording. As an experienced domestic violence advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, you will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic violence and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

The Role

This role heads the Project Finance team and ensures it continues to support Blue Marine effectively as the organisation grows in scale and complexity. It also oversees the full financial journey of Blue Marine’s project partners, from due diligence and legal agreements through to strong financial oversight and accurate reporting. A key part of the role is building the financial and operational capacity of partners, helping partners scale their conservation impact through improved financial management and operational effectiveness.  

Reporting to the Director of Finance, Operations and Governance, the successful candidate will: 

• Oversee and develop the Project Finance team, setting clear priorities, high standards and effective ways of working.
• Drive the strategic direction of the Project Finance function as Blue Marine’s portfolio grows in scale and complexity.
• Maintain high-level oversight of project budgets, delivery partners, donor requirements, financial risks and reporting obligations across the portfolio.

Main Responsibilities

The principal responsibility of an Associate Organiser is their own development: learning the craft of Community Organising under the guidance of an experienced Community Organiser. You will work intensively with a small number of member organisations under close supervision, growing your experience, skill and responsibility incrementally. An Associate Organiser is working towards becoming a competent practitioner of the craft of broad-based community organising methodology, and focuses on the building of relational power, the recruitment and retention of dues-paying institutions, the development of leaders, the strengthening of member institutions, leader-led public actions, and the winning of systemic change.

This role is particularly to organise with Be Well Organisations in Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley. Be Well Organisations may be faith, education, or community institutions, tackling isolation and poor mental health by: 1. Building relationships, 2. Signposting and offering practical support, and 3. Taking action on structural and systemic inequalities and injustices. But you may also work on other campaign priorities and responsibilities as needed across the team.

We are looking for people who are angry about injustice, who believe ordinary people have the power to make change, and who are motivated to learn the craft of Broad-based Organising. The role is hugely varied, and involves working across the two boroughs, in different institutions and context, and with a lot of independence.

Working as an Associate Organiser in South London Citizens, your main responsibilities will include:

Build relational power to further the goals of CUK

· Actively participate in the development of a comprehensive power analysis appropriate to the desired sphere of influence for each project/assignment

· Establish working relationships with identified leaders and demonstrate ability to move them into action, including as part of the wider alliance; taking the initiative to establish new relationships

· Conduct 15-20 weekly one-to-ones to develop relationships with leaders and understand their concerns.

ROLE PURPOSE

This role provides person-centred employment and progression support to individuals facing barriers to financial wellbeing, including homelessness or risk of homelessness. Working with a managed caseload, this role will support participants to build confidence and employability skills, and progress towards meaningful, sustained employment, further education, or accredited training.

The role includes a blend of structured employability support, responsive frontline 121 work combined with corporate partnership skills.  This role will work directly with Freedom Trainees and Mustard Tree clients, supporting walk-ins, referrals, and longer-term participants. This role combines direct participant support, employability delivery, employer engagement working with the Salford Area Manager. You will work across our Eccles and Little Hulton sites, helping create meaningful opportunities that enable participants’ progression.

About Black Thrive Global

We exist to change the odds stacked against Black people by embedding race equity into systemic change so that thriving is not the exception but the norm.

Black Thrive Global evolved from the work of the Black Thrive Lambeth Partnership, which was established in 2016 to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black people in Lambeth. Black people’s cumulative exposure to negative experiences and poor outcomes are not unique to Lambeth and Black Thrive Global was founded in 2020 to address the detrimental outcomes for Black people of African and Caribbean descent wherever they may be located.

Our work covers all life stages – children and young people, working age adults and older adults. Our guiding principle is to centre the lived experiences of Black communities in all that we do, and our strategic priorities are to embed race equity in systems change and to decolonise the evidence landscape.

The Thriving Futures Scaling Systems Change programme will involve scaling what we have tested and learned locally in Lambeth, Haringey, and Birmingham to achieve UK-wide impact through Black Thrive Global, with the ambition to extend our work into Wales and Scotland.

Role Description

The Leadership Academy Coordinator will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of the Leadership Academy, a programme designed to equip participants with the skills, confidence, and knowledge to engage with systems, drive change, and develop as inclusive, multi-skilled leaders, with a strong emphasis on valuing lived experience.

The Academy will bring together learning and development opportunities across a range of areas, including the Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework (PCREF), system navigation, community-led research, and leadership development approaches. Through this programme, grassroots community groups, people with lived experience, and system leaders will be supported to strengthen their leadership capabilities and contribute to anti-racist system change.

The postholder will be responsible for coordinating the development and delivery of the Leadership Academy, working collaboratively with Black Thrive localities, internal teams, people with lived experience, and external specialists to shape and deliver a high-quality learning offer.

Acting as the central point of coordination for the Academy, the postholder will oversee programme planning, stakeholder engagement, curriculum development processes, logistics, and delivery timelines. They will bring together contributions from multiple workstreams and partners, ensuring that content is aligned, relevant, and delivered effectively to meet the needs of participants.

The Leadership Academy Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the Academy's vision, objectives, and outcomes. The Independent Living Service (Self-Directed Support Service) is a new service that will provide support to Direct Payment users within the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The service will enable disabled people to have genuine choice and control over the way in which they lead their lives.The post-holder will be working alongside disabled people to enable them to have more choice and control over their care and support needs.

Purpose of Post

To work with individuals, their family and friends (where appropriate) to provide them with information, advice and assistance to enable them to access and manage a Direct Payment

(DP) and recruit and manage a Personal Assistant (PA).

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Support to individuals employing their own Personal (care) Assistant (PA) or engage an agency to deliver care and support.

1. Provide information and advice on becoming an employer and the role of the Personal Assistant.
2. Ensure that the client understands their legal obligations and responsibilities of being an employer.
3. Work with clients to: set up a profile on the Find-a-pa website, advertise and recruit a Personal Assistant, create a personalised job description and specification identify the level of experience and training requirements needed for the role.
4. Advise and help to calculate the PA’s salary and on costs (full training provided).
5. Support the client through the interview process and where necessary sit in during interviews.
6. Support individuals to reference, check legal status and where necessary DBS their support worker.
7. Support individuals to set up an induction plan for their PA and enable them to identify training needs.
8. Support the client to complete payroll and insurance documentation.
9. Work with the client to draw up a Statement of Particular (contract) for the employed PA (templates provided).
10. Encourage DP employers to take a lead in all employment issues. Information on where to seek advice e.g. ACAS, Fish and Premier Care helpline will be given and clients will be encouraged to use them.
11. Ensure that the individual has a back-up plan for emergencies.
12. Encourage DP employers to be assertive and proactive with their Personal Assistants.
13. Work with agencies to set up support for clients who may not wish to employ a PA directly.

Ongoing support to individuals in receipt of Direct Payments

1. Providing advice on employment issues.
2. Support individuals to solve practical problems e.g. lateness of staff, change of needs.
3. Support individuals to recruit again if necessary.
4. Assist individuals to re-look at budgets, training and job descriptions as they change over time.
5. Assist individuals to ensure that they continue to manage their Direct Payment or budget.
6. Support individuals to make informed choices.
7. Meet with the DP Support Group on a regular basis.
8. Assist in the development of training and other resources to support employers to manage their DP and their PA relationships.
9. Develop links and professional relationships with Social Work teams to support a healthy level of referrals.

Parallel is a small charitable initiative with big ambitions. Our mission is to increase the number and diversity of excellent young mathematicians. We are a Good Thinking project (registered Charity Number: 1147404).

Founded in 2023 by Simon Singh MBE and Dr Junaid Mubeen, our online Parallel Academy supports highly capable students to excel in maths, by providing them with structured programmes that develop their reasoning and problem-solving skills beyond the curriculum.  We currently support more than 10,000 students through the Academy, around 1000 of whom receive highly targeted support through weekly, small-group online tutorials.

The purpose of this role
 

We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to join and help lead our committed and energetic team. This role is pivotal to achieving Parallel’s growth ambitions while maintaining the quality of service we are renowned for. As a senior leader, you will be a lynch pin of our core team and will make a real difference to the life prospects of thousands of young students. 

On a practical level, you will coordinate and drive our core programmes, with oversight and accountability for their smooth, day-to-day delivery. You will also line-manage two full-time administrators (this may increase as the team expands), overseeing and supporting their work across communications, data and operational delivery.

We have established several processes and tools for delivering our programme effectively and the ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for process improvement and opportunity. You will need to understand and consolidate our current best practices, but also identify ones that need to be adapted or enhanced as we look to scale up. 

This role is offered initially as a fixed-term contract for 12 months, though we have every intention to extend the position longer term should the appointment prove successful. 

A note on working hours
 

This is a fully-remote role. As part of your contracted hours you will be required to regularly do some work during evenings and weekends (approx 5-8 hours a week). You may occasionally need to step in at short notice, outside of standard working hours, to support and resolve urgent operational issues.

There will also be periods when there is a higher workload (e.g., during student admissions cycles), so you may be required to offer some flexibility in working longer  - and then shorter - hours week to week. Time off in-lieu is provided for additional hours worked. 

In general, you will have significant autonomy in how you structure your working week, provided you ensure that our core operational needs are covered within the whole team.

Key responsibilities

Working for Parallel is challenging and rewarding in equal parts. On a typical day you will be fielding queries from parents, managing the logistics of 200+ tutorials a week and ensuring tutors are fully supported. We are a dynamic team that readily adapts to new situations and relishes the challenge of working through problems together. 

As part of your key responsibilities you will:
 

• Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of our Tutorial and Webinar Programmes, ensuring that sessions proceed as planned, and that any issues - from tutor cover needs to student absence requests - are swiftly and effectively addressed.

• Coordinate key aspects of our start and end-of-term administration, including payments, parent and student communications, website setup, spreadsheets and logistics.

• Oversee the admin team’s responsiveness to our high-volume shared inboxes, responding to the most sensitive student and parent queries and acting as a point of escalation where needed.

• Manage a small but growing admin team, providing regular guidance, support, and feedback.

• Play a key role in overseeing our student admissions cycles, from planning to testing, setup, delivery and communication of decisions.

• Work effectively with data (e.g. student learning data) - as managed through our central directories - and use it to guide decision-making and to support the effective running of our programmes. 

• Review our policies on an ongoing basis, ensuring that we are complying with our safeguarding and data protection obligations at all times and that our policies are built for scale.

• Support with schools outreach initiatives.

• Develop and document key administrative procedures (an ever-evolving ‘Operations Handbook’) to ensure that we have reliability and stability across all programmes.

• Help to shape and build on our ethos of high expectations, which translates into concrete policies regarding attendance, homework, participation and criteria for both admitting and removing students from our Tutorial Programme.

About the Role

Make a real difference as a Housing Management Worker at our service in Lambeth. You’ll take the lead in managing safe, high-quality accommodation for young people at risk of homelessness—driving standards across repairs, voids, rent collection, and compliance while working closely with landlords, contractors, and support teams to keep services running smoothly.

We’re looking for someone with housing or supported accommodation experience who brings strong tenancy management knowledge, confidence with welfare benefits, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. You’ll work directly with young people with complex needs, using a strengths-based, psychologically informed approach to help them sustain tenancies, reduce arrears, and build independence.

Please note that this job opportunity is offered as a full-time (37.5 hour per week), permanent role.

KEY DELIVERABLES

• You will always ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients in the service, including using Safeguarding and emergency alert procedures as applicable.

• You will advise all prospective or new tenants/residents of their rights and responsibilities under their tenancy/license agreement.

• You will be responsible for ensuring that repairs are undertaken to a high standard, within an appropriate time frame and represent value for money.

• You will be responsible for ensuring that accommodation units are well maintained in accordance with the management agreement and for bringing them quickly into management to minimize void loss.

• You will prepare short reports on arrears, voids, and repairs for the service manager, Depaul’s central services and commissioner meetings as required.

• You will be responsible for ensuring that all common parts and grounds of Depaul managed properties are in good maintenance order and adhere to Depaul Health and Safety requirements.

• You will be responsible for maintaining Health and Safety standards in the premises and a point of information for clients regarding Health and Safety.

• You will facilitate the fair allocation of letting accommodation in accordance with Depaul’s Policy and Procedures.

• You will work with the keyworkers and clients to collect rents and service charges and hold responsibility for the accurate reporting of rental income, voids and allocations to Depaul’s finance team.

• You will liaise with local Housing Benefit Teams, Social Service Departments or other authorities regarding individual rental income claims.

• You will work proactively with keyworkers and clients to develop personal payment plans to support clients not to incur rental debt.

• You will be the first point of contact for landlord queries and contractors.

• You will support and facilitate the work of the volunteers who add value to the work that we do.

• You will contribute to making the environment a positive place to work for all staff, volunteers, and students.

• You will undertake further duties as commensurate to the role identified by your line manager.

• Demonstrate a commitment to client involvement by advocating client involvement opportunities, for example by actively promoting the Voice of Depaul to clients and attending residents meetings when appropriate.

• You will attend training as appropriate to your development to support you in your role.

• You will form an integral part of the team and as such attend team meetings when required.
