About the role
This is a pivotal new role at the National Institute of Teaching, shaping the support and wellbeing of trainees throughout their programme. You will also work with colleagues across the Student Support team to ensure a coherent support offer with the delivery of wider student support services, including disability and inclusion.
Working closely with colleagues across NIoT and Teach First, you will be a key point of contact for student support services relating to mental health and wellbeing. You will provide expert advice, oversee casework, manage relationships with external support providers, and help ensure our services, policies and processes deliver an outstanding student experience.

Job Purpose
To provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative service to the college, with particular responsibility for the coordination of examinations and accreditation of administration. The postholder will act as the main point of contact for the examination board(s) and will liaise closely with the Local Authority on matters relating to V10 submissions and funding arrangements for learners with additional needs, ensuring the college meets its statutory and contractual reporting obligations.
Contract and Working Pattern
Term time only, plus an additional two weeks to support pre-term preparation and post-term completion of administrative and examinations work (e.g. results processing, enrolment preparation).

Key Responsibilities
1. General College Administration
Provide day-to-day administrative support across the college, including correspondence, filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records on the college's Management Information System (MIS).
Act as a point of contact for students, parents/carers, staff and visitors, responding to queries professionally and promptly.
Support the organisation of college events, meetings and open days, including room bookings, minute-taking and distribution of papers.
Order, monitor and maintain office supplies and administrative resources as required.

Process and distribute examination results, certificates and related documentation to learners and relevant staff.
Support the coordination of access arrangements and reasonable adjustments for learners, in line with awarding body and Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) requirements.
Maintain accurate records to support internal and external quality assurance, moderation, and accreditation processes.
Assist with the preparation of evidence and documentation for accreditation of visits, audits, and inspections.
3. Liaison with the Examination Board
Act as the college's day-to-day administrative contact with the relevant examination board(s), including submission of entries, amendments and results of queries.

Coordinate the submission of non-exam assessment and moderation samples in line with examination board requirements.

4. Liaison with the Local Authority
Liaise with the Local Authority regarding funding submissions and associated data returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.
Support the collation and submission of information required for the funding of learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and other additional needs, including high needs/top-up funding claims.
Maintain accurate records of additional needs funding allocations, reviews and Local Authority correspondence for individual learners.
Work closely with the SENCO/Head of College to ensure funding documentation reflects learners' current needs and provision.
Act as an administrative point of contact for Local Authority officers on funding, placement and review queries, escalating to Head of College as appropriate.
Support annual reviews and audits relating to additional needs of funding, ensuring evidence files are complete and accessible.
5. Health, Safety and Safeguarding
Help maintain a safe, healthy and secure working and learning environment for staff, visitors and interns/work placement learners, in line with the college's health and safety policy.
Act in accordance with the college's safeguarding and child protection policy at all times, treating safeguarding as everyone's responsibility.
Support the safeguarding of interns, work placement learners and other students on college premises or external placements, including maintaining accurate placement, DBS, and induction records.

After several years of research and development, we launched Testimony 360 in June 2024, a digital programme for UK secondary schools that uses interactive survivor testimony and virtual reality to innovatively teach about the Holocaust. Through the programme, students can interact with a recorded testimony of a Holocaust survivor, before seeing some of the sites they experienced using virtual reality headsets, all without leaving their classroom.
The successful candidate will serve as a member of the Trust’s Programmes Team, responsible for the research, post-production, testing and maintenance of interactive recorded testimony to ensure fluency and usability in the classroom. They will also be responsible for the ethical representation and engagement with the testimonies. Position: Financial Controller
Location: London/Hybrid
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £47,000 to £52,000 depending on experience, plus £3,000 London Weighting (where applicable)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours (we welcome requests for flexible working arrangements)

About the Role
The organisation has ambitious plans to grow and is looking for a Financial Controller to build strong foundations in relation to financial literacy and commercial awareness across the organisation whilst working closely with the Executive. This role will be crucial in supporting the Chief Operating Officer to deliver strategic plans over the next five years.
This role will give you the opportunity to build strong relationships across the organisation and provide outstanding customer service to various stakeholders.
Given the relative size of the organisation, this is a broad role, encompassing many different aspects of Finance and therefore will provide an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to develop a broad Finance skillset.

We are looking for someone who holds a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA/ACCA/CIMA), including newly qualified accountants with sufficient experience. Finance professionals that have sufficient relevant experience and are close to becoming fully qualified may also be considered.

About the role: AMRC is looking for a policy officer to join our small but highly influential policy and public affairs team, working at the heart of the medical research community. You will support our influencing and advocacy work, helping build a thriving research environment that facilitates innovation. We work with government and policy makers to ensure that our charities can invest in a healthy and sustainable research system across universities and the NHS. You will undertake analysis and horizon scanning to enable us to keep our members up-to-date, and you will support the development of AMRC’s policy activity. You will support activities in many areas of work including improving the sustainability of charity-university research; enhancing research careers, translation and infrastructure; maintaining a facilitative legislative and regulatory environment; and enhancing charity-industry partnerships, helping research findings to be translated into treatments, policy and practice more quickly. The Outreach Money Advice Caseworker will provide specialist money and debt advice to people experiencing financial hardship, with a particular focus on preventing homelessness, sustaining tenancies and supporting residents to achieve long-term financial stability. Working as part of the Exeter Crisis & Resilience Fund partnership, you will manage a caseload of clients experiencing complex financial circumstances, providing FCA-regulated debt advice, welfare benefits advice, budgeting support, advocacy and practical assistance. Recognising that financial hardship rarely exists in isolation, you will work closely with housing providers, landlords, Exeter City Council and partner organisations to address the wider issues affecting people's financial wellbeing.
Using a relationship-based, person-centred approach, you will deliver outreach across Exeter through home visits, community venues and flexible methods of communication, ensuring vulnerable residents can access the support they need.
