JOB PURPOSE
This new role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of fundraising within a dynamic, purpose-driven organisation.
You will play a key role in helping to futureproof and sustainably grow Magic Breakfast’s income from trusts, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs). This is a varied and rewarding role, with the opportunity for creativity with your own pool of funders.
You will be part of the Major Giving team, which secures income from trusts, foundations, and HNWIs. While your primary focus will be on trusts and foundations fundraising, you will also support the team’s work with HNWIs, adapting to the team’s needs as required.
With support from a friendly and experienced team, you will take ownership of a portfolio of trusts and foundations, managing relationships and securing donations typically ranging from £500 to £10,000. In supporting the team’s work with HNWIs, you will help to deliver outstanding donor care, nurture long-term relationships, and contribute to securing transformational gifts. Strong writing, communication, and research skills will be key to your success in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

For a charity in London, we're recruiting an interim Head of FP&A for a 6-month contract. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Head of FP&A will manage a small team and will have leadership of the internal reporting processes, providing strategic advice to the SMT, and lead a continuous improvement programme. The Head of FP&A will design, implement, and stabilise finance processes across planning and forecasting, performance reporting, KPI management, capital and cash management, cost analysis, and process improvement.
Main Duties:

The Role
Further develop the Global Programme Funding Strategy to source funding in programme areas of interest including health, disaster risk management, resilience, sustainable livelihoods as well as research grants.

The Candidate
Are you an experienced relationship fundraiser with experience of the following:
Income Generation significant experience and a successful track record securing grants from key institutional funders, ideally from the relevant thematic areas of: animal welfare, livelihoods, resilience building, access to water, food and gender.
Current knowledge and experience of institutional funders priorities, requirements and ways of working.
Knowledge and experience of the Programme management cycle.
Experience of producing budgets and reports for funders; experience of negotiating budgets, value for money etc.

People Systems and Reporting Specialist

To be able to deliver this the People Function is going through an exciting transformation and one of the key enablers of this is automation and data analytics. This role will support the People Services team in setting up our lifecycle and operational processes by ensuring data accuracy and reliable system performance. RSTMH is a charity and membership society for those working or interested in tropical medicine and global health, and currently have around 2,000 members and Fellows from more than 100 countries, with a network of more than 10,000 involved with our work in some way. We are looking for an experienced Membership Manager who will help us manage all aspects of our membership programme. This involves maintaining high levels of retention and developing and delivering new recruitment strategies for members across the world.
The role will also focus on developing membership journey programmes to ensure our members receive a top quality service from the Society and that all membership processes are undertaken with efficiency, energy and effectiveness.
The Membership Manager will also play a crucial role in ensuring that we are promoting RSTMH, and its membership offer, to our members and supporters. This person would be the first point of contact for our members and so must be professional, a sound communicator and efficient in their approach.

Job Purpose
The Grants & Fundraising Manager will play a lead role in maintaining and growing Umbrella’s income, with a primary focus on grant fundraising and the development of corporate partnerships. Key Responsibilities
- Research, develop and maintain a strong pipeline of grant opportunities across trusts, foundations, Lottery, corporate CSR programmes, and statutory funders.
- Write, coordinate and submit high-quality grant applications and expressions of interest.
- Manage grant reporting, monitoring and compliance, working with operational teams to ensure accurate data collection and spend tracking.
