We’re excited to be recruiting for a key leadership position supporting Oasis’ youth and community work in the North West region (covering delivery in Greater Manchester and Bradford).With accountability to the Oasis Community Partnerships CEO the role of the Regional Youth and Community Director has three main functions:
1 Strategic management oversight of local Youth and Community teams
2 Regional development, working alongside other functions within the Oasis family
3 Being part of the national Youth and Community leadership team
The Youth and Community Director will have strategic management oversight of local Youth and Community teams in the region, providing accountability and support to the local leaders and charity boards. This responsibility area falls into two categories; those the Director is directly responsible for, and those they are responsible for ensuring are carried out by leaders within their region.

About you
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive person. You will have good knowledge of homelessness policy and practice, strong written and spoken communication skills, including report writing, and the ability to collate and present quantitative and qualitative information. You will have excellent digital and IT skills, including Microsoft 365, Excel and Word, with the ability to adopt and apply AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot or equivalent) to improve ways of working.
You will also be confident in building relationships and working in partnership with shelters, day services, churches, community projects, funders, and other stakeholders.
About the role
The successful candidate will provide essential operational, administrative and coordination support to the Faith and Community Development Team, working closely with the London Partnerships and Development Lead. They will support smooth service delivery, stakeholder engagement, internal communications, meetings and events, reporting processes, and will act as partnership manager for a small number of projects across London.

What you'll do:
Operational
* Support the delivery of planned, cyclical and sustainability projects from inception to completion, including programme planning, site inspections, stakeholder engagement and project reporting.
* Monitor project progress, defects and remedial actions, escalating issues to Project Managers as appropriate.
* Maintain accurate property, project and compliance records, ensuring servicing information and certification remain up to date.
* Support the maintenance of Asprey and associated asset management systems, including the validation of stock condition, survey, compliance and completed works data.
* Work alongside Surveyors and Asset Management colleagues to support property inspections, data assurance, investment planning and regulatory reporting.
* Assist in the preparation of asset performance information, stock condition analysis and investment recommendations.

What you'll bring:
Essential:
* Evidence of project management, construction, property or related experience.
* Understanding of the Decent Homes Standard and residential property maintenance requirements.
* Experience of working with asset management systems, databases or property records.
* Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
Desirable:
* Professional qualification or working towards a qualification in Project Management, Building Surveying or a related discipline.
* Experience of working in housing, care and support, or property environments.
* Experience of working with schedules of rates, specifications or tender documentation.
* Understanding of landlord compliance, repairs, maintenance and asset management principles.
* Understanding of stock condition data, lifecycle planning and planned investment programmes.
* Experience of using Asprey or a similar asset management system.
