The Role
The Philanthropic Partnerships Lead – Trusts & Foundations will contribute to Global Greengrants Fund UK’s fundraising and partnership objectives by stewarding a portfolio of existing and new Trust & Foundation supporters to secure significant restricted and unrestricted grants and donations for the organisation. Working as part of the Philanthropic Partnerships team and reporting to the Director of Philanthropic Partnerships, the postholder will also collaborate closely with colleagues across the global organisation Global Greengrants Fund, particularly within the Programmes, External Relations and Finance functions.
The Candidate Profile
The post holder will be an experienced, senior-level fundraising leader with a track record of securing and developing successful collaborations with trusts, foundations and partner organisations to achieve ambitious income goals; extensive experience in developing pitches, proposals, and fundraising products; and a strong interest in environmental justice, international development or human rights issues. They will have an extensive knowledge of the funding and philanthropy sectors in the UK and Europe; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and be confident in engaging a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including at senior levels.
The candidate will excel in relationship building and interpersonal skills, capable of managing complex relationships and politics. With excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, they will be adept at developing compelling proposals, presentations, reports, and other fundraising materials. Additionally, they will demonstrate strategic, innovative, and analytical thinking, with a strong capacity for complex problem-solving and decision-making.

Commonweal is an independent charity, with a small core staff team of 9, overseen by a voluntary Board of Trustees, working to investigate, pilot and champion housing based solutions to social injustice. Using our charitable resources, we provide experts and partner organisations with the opportunity to trial and test new approaches designed to enhance housing equality and justice. Independently evaluating each of our projects we share our experiences, using this learning to inspire new thinking. Through the replication of what works and the lessons from what doesn’t, we influence changes in policy and practice. Commonweal owns a small portfolio of properties that are leased to our project partners – charities, housing and support organisations delivering services to people experiencing housing injustice. You will maintain oversight of key property compliance requirements, ensuring certificates, inspections and other documentation are in place and up to date, proactively following up outstanding actions and escalating issues where necessary. Our Data and Fundraising Operations team acts as the technical lead for many of the Charity’s systems and technical projects. Alongside developing your knowledge of Raiser’s Edge NXT, you’ll have opportunities to broaden your experience across Excel, Access, SharePoint, APIs, data integrations, reporting, automation and system implementation.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive team where you can deepen your CRM expertise while developing a broader understanding of data, systems and digital processes within fundraising.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead Trevi’s Jasmine Mother and Child Residential Family Centre, supporting women and children to build safer, more stable futures.
Salary: £46,123 to £52,223 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience
Relocation Package: is available for the right candidate

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with flexible start and finish times, occasional home working and participation in an on-call rota

About the role
Jasmine Mother and Child Family Residential Centre is Trevi’s specialist residential service supporting women during pregnancy and mothers living with their children while addressing substance use, trauma, mental health needs and wider family pressures.
As Registered Manager, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of this seven-bed residential family service, ensuring a safe, nurturing and trauma-responsive environment for women, children and staff.
Working alongside the Head of Service, you will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, maintain high standards of care and ensure the service meets Ofsted requirements and all relevant regulatory and safeguarding standards.
Key responsibilities include:
· Leading, supporting and developing the staff team
· Ensuring the safe and effective day-to-day running of the service
· Maintaining compliance with Ofsted requirements and relevant legislation
· Overseeing safeguarding, risk management and quality assurance
· Developing positive relationships with women, children and professionals
· Ensuring individual care and support plans uphold families’ dignity, privacy and safety
· Monitoring budgets, resources, staffing and service performance
· Supporting continuous service development and improvement
· Participating in the on-call rota, including scheduled weekends
Trevi will provide support with the Ofsted registration and interview process.
About you
You will bring strong leadership experience within residential childcare alongside a sound understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding and regulatory standards.
You must have:
· A minimum of two years’ residential childcare experience within the last five years, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity
· An NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, be working towards it or be prepared to work towards it within six months of appointment, or Social Work England registration
· Experience of managing and developing an effective team
· Experience of working with women and children
· A strong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment and person-centred support
· Knowledge of trauma-informed practice
· Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
You will be compassionate, professional and non-judgemental, with the confidence to lead within a complex regulated service.
