About the Role

We are seeking a day support worker for our high-quality, self-contained accommodation for women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage. The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic, trauma and psychologically-informed environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation. The role is located at an 18-bed, 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham.

In this role, you will provide support to all the women, including co-designing and running activities (such as art groups, self-care sessions, nature walks, cooking activities etc.) and accompanying women to appointments. You will work closely with Specialist Support Workers who manage individual resident support and safety plans.

The service and the wider organisation recognise the high levels of trauma that precede and perpetuate homelessness, and the complex, interconnecting needs that develop against this backdrop (including mental and physical health difficulties, substance misuse, brain injury, emotion dysregulation, interpersonal problems, and stigma and exclusion). The service operates as a best-practice, Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE), working in close partnership with homeless mental health experts and includes an in-house psychologist, offering therapeutic input to residents, and support and training to staff. In this role, you will model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, will be skilled at building trust and you will be a great team player.

The post holder will undertake 8-hour shifts on a 7-day rota, covering the hours 07:45 am to 20:15 pm. Please be aware that the building has several floors and no lifts.

Due to the nature of this women’s supported housing service and the needs of the residents, this role is open to women only. This is considered to be an occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

The Head of Vocations and Discernment will offer national leadership of the ongoing renewal of lay and ordained ministerial vocations in the Church of England. This will include a broad span from encouraging initial enquires through to the smooth operation of national discernment processes.

Leadership

• Lead the renewal of ministerial vocations across the Church of England at a national level to ensure the church has the lay and ordained leaders we need to fulfil our vocation to proclaim afresh the Gospel in every generation including this one.

• Lead the development and operational excellence of the Shared Discernment and Candidates Panel processes, ensuring that the processes meet the evolving needs of the whole church. This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by ensuring carers have access to the support, knowledge and community they need to thrive. As the Carers Programme Lead, you will mobilise, coordinate and facilitate a programme that combines structured learning, peer support and reflective spaces, helping carers feel better equipped, more connected and less alone. This will include developing and refining a structured learning programme and continuously building on carers’ feedback.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading and facilitating a weekly programme for unpaid carers, combining a structured six-week course with ongoing peer support and reflection sessions.
• Creating welcoming, supportive spaces where carers can share experiences, build resilience and prioritise their own wellbeing.

What you'll do:
* Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by Management staff
* Meet customers regularly for support sessions, providing emotional and practical support
* Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support and actions
* Develop support plans with customers to identify their goals, ensuring a person centred approach, enabling the customer to establish positive change
* Support customers to take care of their living environment, providing emotional and
* practical support to ensure customers enjoy a high-quality accommodation
* Develop and maintain links with all key agencies and service providers in the local community
* Support customers to apply for benefits and manage their bills.

Victim Support is seeking a committed and detail-focused Team Leader to help coordinate and maintain excellent support for witnesses within the busy Court environment at Medway Magistrates Court. Working collaboratively with experienced People Partners, we're looking for someone who thrives in complex project environments, enjoys creating structure from ambiguity and can think several steps ahead. Alongside the People Partners, you'll be assessing workforce implications before contracts are won, building mobilisation plans when they are secured, and helping the organisation anticipate what happens when programmes evolve, expand or end in three to four years' time. Your work will directly influence organisational readiness, sustainable growth and the impact we deliver to young people across the UK.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading the people workstream for major bids, tenders and strategic growth projects.
• Designing workforce plans, operating models and mobilisation strategies for new contracts.
• Assessing organisational, workforce, TUPE and change implications of new opportunities.
• Driving contract mobilisation activity across recruitment, onboarding, learning and organisational readiness.
• Identifying future workforce risks and opportunities, ensuring long-term capability planning is built into decision making.
• Working with senior leaders to shape workforce strategies that balance service delivery, colleague experience and commercial objectives.

You'll thrive in this role if you bring:

• Significant experience in workforce planning, organisational design, transformation, change or programme delivery.
• A track record of leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Experience translating business or contractual requirements into practical workforce solutions.
