About the role

As our Fundraising Manager, you’ll be the charity’s dedicated income lead. You’ll develop and deliver a sustainable fundraising programme that reflects the compassion and community spirit at the heart of HCCN.

You’ll work closely with our Operations Manager, trustees, volunteers, employees, supporters and partners to:

·Grow income across community fundraising, events, corporate partnerships, individual giving and legacy giving

·Build strong relationships across the local community

·Represent HCCN warmly and professionally at events and activities

Key responsibilities 

·Develop and deliver an annual fundraising plan and budget

·Identify new opportunities with individuals, businesses, community groups and trusts

·Support volunteers and community fundraisers

Carers UK is the leading national charity for unpaid carers. About you

We are looking for a proactive and visible finance professional who is able to engage and build relationships across the organisation as a pivotal member within a values led high performing organisation. You will be a qualified accountant with proven track record of financial management awareness and a solid understanding of charity audits and statutory accounts preparation. You will have the ability to work with staff across the organisation in supporting good financial governance and oversight of financial operational matters. You will have the ability to analyse financial information and present this in a suitable format for the audience. You will have good ability to meet deadlines, be IT literate with an emphasis on financial systems, spreadsheets, Quickbooks and Excel. You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and be able to work with minimum supervision.

The role will involve the management of the day-to-day financial activities, VAT, gift aid, payroll and the monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and statutory accounts preparation. The job holder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Finance Officer and volunteers within the team. There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Finance Officer and Finance volunteer.

The role of Digital Officer plays a key role in supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of The Children’s Trust’s digital communications. Working closely with the Digital Manager and wider Marketing and Communications team, the postholder will help ensure our website, email marketing and other digital activity are engaging, accessible, user-focused and aligned with organisational priorities and brand guidelines.

The role will support the day-to-day management of the charity’s websites maintaining high-quality, up-to-date content with a strong user experience, alongside contributing to integrated marketing and communications activity through digital channels, including email and paid digital support. Using analytics and insight, the Digital Officer will help monitor performance, identify opportunities for optimisation and support data-driven decision making to enhance reach, engagement and user journeys.

This role requires a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of digital best practice, who can work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities effectively while contributing to the ongoing development of The Children’s Trust’s digital presence.

Role Requirements

Website management

• Support the day-to-day running of the charity’s websites, managing updates from across the organisation and ensuring continuous improvement and development of content, layout and structure.
• Support the Digital Manager to work with teams across the charity to ensure all website content is fresh, up-to-date and in line with our key messages, style and tone of voice.
• Support Digital Manager with ensuring websites are compliant, secure, accessible, user-friendly and aligned to brand, communications and organisational objectives.
• Produce content that complies with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 – Level AA) and help promote web accessibility throughout the Organisation.
• Build and maintain online forms, e.g. donations, event entries and data capture.

Campaigns and email marketing

• Assist the Digital Manager and Senior Marketing Manager with paid digital activity on small scale campaigns, covering areas such as paid social and Google ads or search campaigns and boosted posts.
• Contribute to marketing and communications plans for campaigns and projects.
• Support with review and delivery of email communications produced across the organisation to ensure they meet brand and best practice guidelines.
• Support with the creation and management of email communications using DotDigital.
• Optimise performance through A/B testing, segmentation and analytics.
• Collaborate with the Digital Manager to support and ensure effective targeting, segmentation and retargeting in our email marketing and paid campaigns.
• Support Digital Manager with the day-to-day running and long-term development of our Google Grants account and campaigns.
• Identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement and supporter retention.

Fundraising Officer – 4‑day week, hybrid, high‑impact charity based in Oxford

We’re looking for a Fundraising Officer to join Aspire’s small, agile and supportive Fundraising & Communications team. Our service is a Independent Approved Premises commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP) based in Havering. You will support residents recently released from prison in a residential setting, helping them reintegrate into the community. In this role, you will support in leading the team by providing overall leadership to the service and line management responsibilities to support, enable, and empower your team to deliver high quality support to our residents. 

You will also support some day-to-day team responsibilities, including providing tailored support directly to residents. As a Manager, you will help drive service outcomes in line with contractual requirements, ensuring quality and consistency within a trauma‑ and psychologically informed environment. You will work collaboratively with the team, wider services, and external partners to ensure the service runs smoothly. We’re looking for a solution‑focused individual with experience in similar service environments, who can create a safe space for individuals to learn and grow, while continuing to embed trauma‑informed and psychologically informed practice that puts people and communities at the forefront. About The Role

This is an opportunity to take real ownership of a growing philanthropy programme and shape how mid-value fundraising develops at the Royal British Legion. We’re looking for someone who understands how to build strong donor relationships, spot opportunities for growth, and create the kind of supporter experience that keeps people engaged long term. Working closely with the Head of Trusts and Philanthropy, you’ll lead on developing and delivering the Mid Value strategy, helping to grow income, strengthen retention, and build a sustainable pipeline of future major donors and legacy supporters. This is a role for someone who enjoys balancing strategy with hands on relationship management and wants the freedom to bring new ideas to the table.

You’ll manage and grow a portfolio of supporters through thoughtful stewardship, tailored communications, events and meaningful engagement opportunities, while also using data and insight to make informed decisions about where the biggest opportunities sit. You’ll be comfortable managing budgets, tracking performance and using donor insight to influence activity, while also collaborating across fundraising, data and supporter development teams to ensure supporters receive a seamless journey. As line manager to the Philanthropy Officer, you’ll also play an important role in supporting and developing the wider team.

This role would suit an experienced relationship fundraiser who is motivated by building something with long-term potential and who enjoys working in a collaborative, ambitious environment. Power to Connect is looking for an experienced, community-focused Digital Skills and Learning Manager to lead and strengthen our digital skills and digital inclusion offer in Wandsworth.

Salary: £18,000 per year (£30,000 full-time equivalent)

Location: Hybrid, with home working, one day per week in a shared co-working space in Wandsworth, and additional attendance at service delivery sessions and networking events across the borough

Power to Connect is dedicated to bridging the digital divide in Wandsworth. Since launching in 2020, we have supported more than 7,000 individuals and families through device redistribution, digital skills training and ongoing support.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in tackling digital exclusion locally. You will shape and deliver accessible, high-quality learning opportunities that help residents build digital confidence, access services, improve employability and participate more fully in everyday life.

Working closely with the CEO, you will lead our digital skills and learning offer, line manage two Digital Tutors, support a team of volunteer Digital Champions, and help strengthen partnerships and progression opportunities across the borough. You will also help ensure learners can build confidence in using emerging technologies, including AI, safely and practically in everyday life and work.

Scottish Opera is Scotland’s national opera company and the country’s largest performing arts organisation. Founded in 1962 to make opera accessible to all, the company presents productions of international acclaim, from early works to world premieres. The charity has a network of Patrons, members and supporters who engage with Scottish Opera at varying levels. This role supports that audience to feel connected and engaged with Scottish Opera, deepening their loyalty and seeking new ways to increase giving levels where possible and appropriate. It is a hands-on fundraising role, with scope to think and trial new ways of delivering supporter experience with the ultimate goal of growing the supporter base.

This role might be for you if you consider yourself a relationship fundraiser – this is a people first role where engaging with donors over the phone and face to face will be the norm. Role 

PSTT’s long term vision is: Excellent primary school teaching in every primary school in the UK.

The goal of PSTT is to make science more accessible and attractive to children of primary school age throughout the UK. Research has shown that children’s interest in science is shaped before they leave primary school. That makes it vital for them to have a positive experience of science from their early years onwards.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing and implementing plans to maximise income from corporate partners and trusts and foundations There is huge scope to develop both income streams at PSTT as this is a newly created position with the responsibility for growing and further developing these income streams. 

This is an exciting role for a candidate who wants to grow and shape the income stream, and demonstrate their personal impact on generating income, and providing partners with an incredible supporter experience. There will be an element of change as the organisation embeds an internal culture that effectively supports fundraising. 

This specialist manager role would suit someone who is already operating at a senior fundraiser or manager level, or someone who can demonstrate experience of developing a corporate and/or trusts & foundations pipeline, creating operational plans and delivering income. PSTT is an organisation with big ambitions so a background that includes working within a smaller charity would be helpful for the candidate to have but isn't essential.
