About The Job:
This is a vital role in delivering our fundraising strategy and goals. The role holder will be responsible for raising income from individuals and legacies and increasing the volume and value of our supporter relationships, engaging new audiences and driving sustainable income growth. We will also trust the role holder to deliver fantastic supporter journeys and supporter experiences and contribute to the overall implementation of the Fundraising Team’s objectives.
Main Areas Of Responsibility:
Income Generation
· Lead on raising income to an agreed target, through acquisition, development and retention of individuals and legacy pledgers, as agreed with the Head of Fundraising and Communications.
Strategy
· Work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to build and deliver a highly effective, sustainable, audience-centred public fundraising and supporter experience plan.
· Engage in market and supporter insight to inform decision-making and development of new activity/products.
· Develop a good understanding of our supporter base, their motivations and behaviours. Use our CRM database (Raisers’ Edge NXT) and data analysis and insights to inform the development of new fundraising campaigns and products.
· Take the lead role in the development of effective supporter journeys, working with the Community Fundraising Team to convert community fundraisers and events participants into regular donors.
· Lead the design and delivery of individual giving campaigns (including the Christmas campaign), using direct mail, digital marketing and advertisements to drive supporter acquisition and retention.
· Develop and design our legacy programme, working with Farewill and local law firms to encourage supporters to include Homeless Oxfordshire in their will.
· Work with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to develop and deliver a mid-level giving programme, driving the major donor pipeline and effectively stewarding donors giving at the £300-£1,000 level.
Operational Delivery
· Be responsible for the setting and managing of budgets, targets and KPIs. Report on progress, trends and take action when required. Analyse results and evaluate activity to inform future plans.
· Act as the lead-user for Raisers’ Edge, supervise the Data Administrator to ensure accurate data entry and reconciliation, and support the team with reporting and data analysis.
· Work collaboratively to ensure that all income generation activity is integrated and opportunities for cross-team working are maximised.
· Develop processes that enhance the team’s capacity, efficiency, and ensure effective fundraising.
· Manage external partners and agencies involved in fundraising delivery, ensuring due diligence, high quality and effectiveness.
· Ensure the highest standard of supporter experience in order to make the most of every interaction.
· Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all areas of the public fundraising portfolio, including the Fundraising Code of Practice, Data Protection and Gift Aid. Model best practice and coach team member as required.
Leadership
· Line manage the Data Administrator, supporting them on reconciliation, data entry and gift processing.
· Provide management information for SMT and the Board of Trustees as requested and attending meetings when required.
· Build positive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
· Represent the charity at external meetings as and when required.
· Engage with the wider charity sector, learning from peers and sharing best practice.
General Duties:
· Compliance with Homeless Oxfordshire’s policies and procedures.
· Contribute to a positive working environment in which equality and diversity are valued and staff are enabled to do their best.
· Contribute to the work of the broader team.
· Responsible for the effective use of financial and other resources.

Team: Delivery, England North East - Active Journeys
As the Project Assistant, you will play a key supportive role in the Birtley Active Travel Centre, with a particular focus on cycling-related activities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating and supporting cycling sessions, guided rides, and other cycling engagement initiatives for people of all backgrounds and cycling abilities
- Supporting community engagement activities, including:
- administration of events
- communication with internal and external stakeholders and volunteers
- Data analysis and/or reporting
This role is ideal for someone who would enjoy getting outdoors and active and are keen to help other people do the same. You would have an interest in cycling, and be willing to participate in relevant cycling proficiency and ride leadership training.

The Role
Reporting to the Director, this is an exciting opportunity to lead and strengthen our fundraising strategy, ensuring sustainable growth in income to support our mission of protecting and restoring tropical forests and inspiring climate action.
The Fundraising Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing an ambitious fundraising strategy, with a strong focus on corporate partnerships and trusts.
Working closely with the Director, Deputy Director, Finance and Grants Manager and Communications and Digital Marketing Manager, you will drive forward fundraising targets, cultivate new opportunities, and consolidate existing partnerships. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on delivery, ensuring our fundraising approach is robust, ethical, and aligned with our values.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Development and Income Generation
● Develop and deliver a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the charity (with a strong but not exclusive focus on corporate partnerships), aligned with the charity’s 5-year strategic plan.
● Research, identify, and build a pipeline of new funding opportunities to diversify and expand income streams, such as corporate partners, trusts and foundations, high net worth individuals and individual giving.
● Prepare due diligence checks on potential new funding opportunities to be presented to the board / senior management.
● Develop compelling cases for support and tailored proposals to secure significant income from corporate partners primarily.
2. Systems and Process Improvement
● Establish and implement new systems for organising, stewarding, and monitoring corporate funders, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
● Introduce clear processes for donor stewardship, including trackers, reporting templates and potentially a new CRM system.
● Ensure all fundraising activities comply with fundraising regulations, data protection requirements, and ethical fundraising principles.
3. Relationship Management and Stewardship
● Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective corporate funders through effective stewardship and engagement.
● Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent relationship management for corporate partners.
● Work with the Communications and Marketing Manager to maximise fundraising campaigns such as the Big Give.
4. Events and Engagement
● Lead on the planning and delivery of a flagship summer event designed to attract funders, with the aim of securing new partnerships and long-term support.
● Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the event is well-promoted, impactful, and aligned with the charity’s mission.
● Organise and attend meetings, presentations, and other events to engage with funders and promote the charity’s work.
5. Reporting and Evaluation
● Monitor and report on fundraising income targets, maintaining accurate records of all funders and partnerships.
● Working with the relevant programmes teams, provide regular impact reports to funders, demonstrating the outcomes of their support.
● Evaluate the success of fundraising initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
6. Team Collaboration
● Work collaboratively across the team to develop funding proposals and case studies.
● Work closely with the Communications and Digital Fundraising Manager to develop online donations and regular gifts and improve the digital marketing and eNewsletter (for increasing donations).
● Contribute to innovative fundraising campaigns and activities.
● Support and participate in wider organisational activities, including events and cross‑team initiatives as required.
● Contribute to annual budget setting and targets for fundraising.
● Line management of volunteers as required.
Training will be provided to ensure that all candidates feel supported in their role and progress in their career development. Welsh language training will be offered to support learning if necessary. IT training in WordPress and other essential software will also be offered. Travel across Wales will be required.

About the Role
As Programme Coordinator for Money Heroes, you’ll play a pivotal role in our flagship primary programme, helping children develop financial capability.
You’ll work closely with the Programme Manager and Money Heroes team to:
- Coordinate teacher training events and programme delivery
- Support marketing, promotion, and social media campaigns
- Coordinate content development and website updates

- Support the delivery of the Money Heroes teacher training and mentoring offer, helping educators feel confident and well supported.
- Keep track of programme activities using databases and spreadsheets, including teacher and parent sign-ups and training or mentoring events.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team and Programme Manager to support the growth and visibility of the programme, including contributing to marketing communications and coordinating activity to maintain engagement.

- This is a hybrid role based in London or Oxford, with a minimum of 8 office days per month
- The contract runs until December 2027

‘Green Connections’ is an innovative project which supports older people in Crewe and Nantwich surrounding area to reconnect with nature in their yards and gardens, connect older and isolated individuals with wider support and local opportunities to help relieve social isolation and loneliness. It also provides group delivery sessions around gardening based activities in care homes and community settings
This position involves actively engaging with people aged 50 plus who wish to connect to nature and learn more about their garden or gardening activities. You will be responsible for community engagement, organising resources, working with older people in their homes for tailored sessions and providing group delivery sessions in the community and care homes..
The Green Connections Coordinator role also involves actively engaging older people with services and support available, enhancing their quality of life. You will coordinate with other organisations and use their resources to secure additional support, always prioritising the consent and preferences of the clients. This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals, offering vital support to those in need.
Main Duties:
· Support with teaching older people new gardening skills in attending to their planters and encourage new interests in wildlife and biodiversity.
· Promote and engage with the network of organisations that work with older people in and around Crewe and Nantwich to maintain and develop positive relationships and referral routes
· Update monitoring and evaluation systems to accurately record project outcomes and volunteer information.
· Be the first point of contact for the project and build relationships with individuals, local agencies and groups.
· Assess individuals and their circumstances to understand suitability for the project.
· Work with older individuals in choosing an offer to suit their lifestyle, needs and wishes.
· Be responsible for connecting people into local advice and support.
· Link isolated older people with volunteer support.
· Train and support a core local volunteer team in doing light maintenance and planting in group sessions, gardens, yards and raised planters.
· Ensure appropriate resources are sourced.
· Assist the Service Manager in promoting/marketing the project.
· Provide group delivery sessions in Crewe and Nantwich within care settings and community groups
Essential Criteria
· Experience of delivering community gardening or practical experience in environmental activities
· Experience of organising initiatives and opportunities for community and volunteer involvement
· Experience of planning and delivery of group sessions to support engagement and learning
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and also knowledge and experience of using a client database
· Excellent organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative
· Have use of a car and full driving licence and ability to travel in Crewe and Nantwich
· To be in good physical health to allow lifting of resources and materials

One in 20 adults in the UK has never learnt to read at all. This can have a serious impact on their confidence and wellbeing, limiting access to training, employment, and everyday opportunities that many take for granted. Being unable to read as an adult can be isolating and dangerous, reinforces social inequality, restricts economic growth, and worsens intergenerational disadvantage - but it is never too late to learn.
Read Easy helps adults transform their lives by learning to read. It does this by supporting its growing network of locally run, volunteer-led affiliated groups that offer free, confidential, one-to-one reading coaching—both in person and online to adults - aged from 18-88.
With its free, flexible, confidential approach, Read Easy encourages people who are too embarrassed to join a class to come forward for one-to-one support. Each new reader is provided with their own personal Reading Coach, so that they can learn in private and at their own pace. Learning to read transforms their lives in many other ways as well, including enabling them to support their children’s and grandchildren’s reading, and so transfers the benefits to the next generation.
There are currently 80 affiliated Read Easy groups across England, together involving more than a thousand volunteers. Read Easy UK is the registered charity and umbrella organisation which supports this network of affiliated volunteer groups and provides the structure, training and support to enable volunteers to establish groups in new areas.
As our North Regional Adviser, your role would be to provide strategic leadership, guidance, and oversight to ensure that all volunteer groups in your region consistently deliver high-quality services aligned with Read Easy UK’s strategy.
You will support local volunteer leaders to strengthen group performance, and foster collaboration across affiliated groups, so that that they deliver coaching to Readers with consistent quality, and a positive and worthwhile experience is had by all.
You will also find volunteers to ‘pioneer’ four new groups in the counties where there is no Read Easy presence and provide them and our 17 existing groups and pioneers in the region, with high-quality support. Your quality support will ensure that they provide the same for their volunteers and new Readers. From meeting (mostly online) with Team Leaders to provide one to one support, and hosting online and annual in-person volunteer forums, to delivering presentations and occasional training for small groups of volunteers, this is a dynamic and rewarding role.
This is a home-based post requiring flexibility, some early evening working and occasional travel to visit groups. The role is available on a part time basis (22.5 hours p/w, 60% of 37.5 hours p/w FTE).
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Live within one of the following areas: York, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire or Greater Manchester (Due to the location of our groups in the region, and to ensure efficient travel);
- have been employed to work with volunteers for at least two years;

The purpose of this role is to deliver FSSW’s FareChance programme, including employability learning and practical logistics sessions alongside support and collaboration with the Employability Programme Facilitator. The FareChance programme currently works with young people aged between 18 – 25 who experience additional barriers to accessing education, training, or employment. The young people are supported to learn new skills, build confidence, and realise their full potential.
FareChance provides a unique combination of two parts: the first is working alongside other volunteers and staff learning key warehouse and logistics skills, getting firsthand practical experience; the second is tailored employability sessions in small groups with 1-1 specialist support.
The Employability Programme Lead will lead on running the employability workshops. This role will provide 1-1 support for young people where required and provide signposting and referrals to other specialist services. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting people to thrive and be sensitive to the inequality and power imbalance faced by young people today. They will have experience of supporting young people to achieve their goals and can bring these skills to deliver FareChance. Open Rights Group (ORG) is recruiting for a Pre-Crime Programme Manager
The Pre-Crime Programme Manager leads our work on predictive policing and surveillance within the criminal legal system and counter-terrorism policy, with a particular focus on raising awareness of, and challenging, the impact on over-policed and over-surveilled communities.
They are responsible for the development and implementation of the Pre-Crime programme, working with the Senior Management Team (SMT) and other staff to expand the programme’s profile, network and funding opportunities.
As a Programme Lead, they will also be responsible for working with the SMT and other Area or Programme leads to further develop and uphold ORG’s values and collaborative working culture. They will be recognised as an issue-expert and senior leader within the organisation.
Activities
This is a permanent position at Open Rights Group, and we have secured a number of project grants to deliver the following activities:
- Lead and manage the Safety Not Surveillance (SNS) Coalition, the UK’s only coalition fighting to prohibit AI- and data-driven predictive policing. SNS brings together grassroots partners with national organisations to build power in communities, secure media coverage, engage decision-makers and mobilise those with lived experience.
- Develop detailed policy positions on the deployment of AI and data-driven technologies by private and public actors in criminal justice, immigration and national security.
- Advocacy to encourage decision makers, including MPs, Lords, Government departments and the Information Commissioner’s Office, to adopt ORG’s and the coalition’s recommendations.
- Conduct campaigns that raise awareness of the threats posed to people’s digital rights by the data-driven technologies in policing and counter-terrorism, as well as more broadly.
- Through research and FOIs, help build a legal case with our partners against covert Police-led pathways under Prevent, the UK’s counter-terrorism programme.
- Opportunities to campaign against digital ID, the Online Safety Act and to protect freedom of expression.
