About the role
The Events Coordinator sits within the Development team and reports into the Head of Philanthropy but works closely with senior leadership and colleagues across the organisation, notably, the Communications Team, the Creative Team, the Commercial Team and the Finance and Operations Teams as well as in-country teams.
This is a very hands-on role from the beginning. You will be leading all planning and execution for events, including fundraising events, exhibitions, though leadership, creative and commercial events, and community outreach events.

We have an exciting opportunity to become a member of our farm leadership team as a Skills and Wellbeing Lead. You will lead the Skills and Wellbeing Programme at Oasis City Farm – Southampton, delivering high-quality sessions, therapeutic activities and workshops for adults and young people. With the aim of building knowledge, practical skills, confidence and wellbeing through animal care, gardening and nature-based learning. Daylight Women’s Day Centre is an exciting new service providing a place of safety and support for women who are long term rough sleepers in London. We want to reach women who have experienced abuse, mental illness, addiction, poor physical health, unclear immigration status and homelessness. The role
This is a rare chance to shape a role from the ground up. As our Community Development Worker, you won't be managing an established programme — you'll be building one. You'll get to know Holtspur street by street, person by person, and turn what you learn into activities that genuinely matter: community meals, bereavement support, family and children's groups, informal spaces where people feel they belong. You'll recruit and grow volunteers around you, and you'll help make our refurbished Holtspur building the welcoming hub it's meant to be.
Faith sits at the centre of this role. Rare Dementia Support (RDS) is a UCL-led collaborative service offering specialist social, emotional and practical support services for individuals living with, or affected by, a rare dementia diagnosis. Our vision is for all individuals with, at risk of, or supporting someone with one of these forms of dementia to have access to information, tailored support and guidance, and contact with others affected by similar conditions. RDS is provided by the UCL Dementia Research Centre (DRC) at the Queen Square Institute of Neurology and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery - where the post is based - and partners, and funded by The National Brain Appeal.
You will contribute to the work of the Rare Dementia Support (RDS) direct support team providing advice via support calls and in-person at the new Rare Dementia Support Centre (RDSC) by supporting people living with atypical, inherited, and young onset dementias, their carers, their families, and their friends, and professionals and practitioners working to support them. This role includes the opportunity to shape and direct special projects related to the development of new support groups, professional training, or patient and public involvement/engagement (PPI/E), in line with the activities of RDS and the wider Dementia Research Centre. The post is not a research post, and would be suited to persons with an experienced background gained by working as Dementia Advisers within charity organisations.
The post is available immediately and funded by a donation from The National Brain Appeal until 31 March 2028 in the first instance.
The post is offered part-time at 21.9 hours per week (0.6 Full Time Equivalent). This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 67% of time on site.

It is essential that you bring a working knowledge of the structure of the Church of England, including how dioceses, parishes, clergy, lay leaders and wider church structures work together in mission and ministry. With an understanding of the importance of safeguarding within church and community settings, you will be able to ensure safeguarding considerations are embedded into planning, development and governance arrangements for new Christian communities and strategic projects.

The Involvement Officer role sits at the junction of lived experience involvement and our charitable objectives and will build meaningful collaborations and alignment between those affected by primary bone cancer, researchers, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will be required to build relationships with and contribute to key organisations and initiatives, such as the FOSTER and Euro Ewing consortia, like minded charities and Sarcoma Patients Global Network.
The successful candidate will co-ordinate and grow our Patient and Public Involvement Panel, which currently focuses on bringing lived experience to shape and review primary bone cancer research; however, we are keen for the voices of our community to contribute to our work across all our charitable pillars including our Support & Information service and our Influencing & Advocacy work. You will also support and empower our panel to share the work of Bone Cancer Research Trust more widely to their networks, ensuring a greater awareness of the charity and the impact of our work.
This is a varied position offering the chance to apply and further develop your expertise in involvement across areas such as the shaping and reviewing of research, the capturing and sharing of lived experience through written and video stories, ensuring our health information is patient focused and understandable, and advocating with and for patients both nationally and globally.
We are looking for someone with a good grasp of both the scientific and patient landscapes, who can balance attention to detail with big-picture awareness and work confidently in highly collaborative settings with multiple stakeholders and partner organisations. The Role
The Senior Programme Coordinator will support the development and delivery of SEO London’s apprenticeship programmes.
The post holder will develop a strong understanding of SEO London’s programmes, the industries we support and the needs of our students and partner organisations.They will use this knowledge to deliver projects, respond to stakeholder needs and provide a professional and supportive participant experience.
The role has three core areas of focus:
· Delivering high-quality apprenticeships programmes, projects and events
· Building trusted relationships with students, schools, partner firms and other stakeholders.
· Using data, feedback and evaluation to improve programme delivery and demonstrate impact.
This is a hands-on delivery role with responsibility for independently managing defined programme workstreams and projects from planning through to evaluation.
The successful candidate will be expected to create structure, manage competing priorities, anticipate delivery challenges, and resolve routine issues without requiring detailed day-to-day direction. They will understand when to make decisions independently and when a significant risk or issue should be escalated.
The rolewillsit within SEO London’s Apprenticeships Team, and support thedevelopment, preparation anddelivery of two new keyinitiatives:
· Plan A (Year 12-13): An 18-month apprenticeship support programme for Schools Leavers pursuing Higher-Level Apprenticeships across SEO London industries.
· Schools Alumni: A dedicated post-Schools community that keeps participants connected to SEO London, supports diverse progression pathways, and enables long-term tracking and engagement.
As these initiatives continue to develop, the post holder will contribute ideas, identify improvement and help establish effective and consistent delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
PROGRAMME AND PROJECT DELIVERY
· Take ownership of defined apprenticeship programme workstreams, projects and events from planning through to delivery and evaluation, ensuring agreed outcomes, deadlines and quality standards are met.
· Develop and maintain clear delivery plans, coordinate resources and stakeholders, and proactively identify and resolve delivery risks or issues.
· Facilitate engaging programme sessions and provide appropriate one-to-one coaching and support to students.
PARTICIPANT & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
· Act as a key point of contact for students, schools, partner firms, volunteers, internal teams and third parties, providing clear, responsive and professional communication.
· Build trusted relationships, understand different stakeholder needs and use sound judgement to manage expectations, resolve routine issues and escalate significant concerns appropriately.
· Represent SEO London confidently and professionally at programme, school, partner and external events.
QUALITY, DATA AND IMPROVEMENT
· Maintain accurate and timely programme, participant, partner, event and volunteer records within the CRM, ensuring high standards of data quality, confidentiality and compliance.
· Use programme data, feedback and evaluation findings to assess impact, identify improvements and make practical recommendations that strengthen the participant and partner experience.
Person Specification
We are looking for an experienced programme professional who can combine strong project coordination with excellent stakeholder management and a genuine commitment to supporting young people.
The successful candidate will be proactive, organised and comfortable taking responsibility for complex activities. They will be able to create structure in a developing environment, manage competing priorities and make sound day-to-day decisions.
Direct experience within the apprenticeships sector is desirable but not essential.
Essential Skills and experience
· Experience of coordinating programmes, projects or events from planning through to delivery and evaluation.
· Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to independently manage competing priorities, deadlines and defined workstreams.
· Experience building effective relationships with students, schools, employers, partners or other internal and external stakeholders.
· Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the confidence to facilitate sessions, present information and handle stakeholder queries professionally and empathetically.
· Experience using CRM systems, databases and Microsoft 365 to maintain accurate records, analyse information and produce reports or programme materials.
Desirable Experience and Knowledge
· Experience or knowledge of the UK apprenticeships, employability, careers, education or youth sector.
· Experience providing one-to-one coaching or student support.
Required qualifications
· University degree in any discipline; or
· 2 years of relevant and transferable work experience in a similar capacity
