The Delivery Manager leads a team of Switchback Mentors who work within prisons and the community, ensuring they have the support, systems, and processes in place to deliver the Switchback programme effectively and maximise the impact for Trainees.

Caseloads are deliberately small, with Mentors working with no more than five to eight Trainees at a time, and a current annual Traineeminimumtarget of 12.

We are recruiting for a Temporary Direct marketing Lead for a medical support charity. You will plan, deliver and optimise integrated, data-driven campaigns across offline and digital channels to grow income from individual supporters, acquiring new donors, increasing the value of existing ones, and maximising return on investment.

The Role
Lead the planning, development and delivery of integrated direct marketing campaigns designed to generate income and grow the Charity's supporter base.
Manage end-to-end delivery of appeals and fundraising communications across multiple channels, including direct mail, email, digital advertising, phone, and social media.

Develop and optimise direct marketing journeys that support supporter acquisition, conversion, retention, upgrade and reactivation.

The Candidate
Proven experience delivering individual giving, direct marketing and individual giving campaigns with end-to- end responsibility.
Demonstrable experience of designing and implementing effective Supporter or donor journeys that improve retention and engagement.
Strong understanding of direct marketing principles across both offline and digital channels.
Experience using a fundraising CRM or database to support campaign delivery, reporting and analysis.
Experience managing third-party suppliers and working collaboratively with internal teams.
Experience managing and monitoring campaign or project budgets, with accountability for spend and return on investment
Demonstrable experience designing or optimising supporter or donor journeys that improve retention, engagement and lifetime value.

Job Title: Estate Officer, East Anglia

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 36 hours per week

Salary: £31,024 per annum, plus pension and benefits

Location: Homebased within East Anglia or the East of England

 Overall job purpose

The Estate Officer will ensure the delivery of the regional maintenance programme, comprising routine, periodic, planned and urgent works, and the delivery of time limited maintenance consultancy and estate management projects. Working alongside the Conservation Projects Manager, the post holder will ensure regional estate compliance with CCT policies.

The post holder will be the main contact for all maintenance related matters and will maintain the property management records for the estate, develop volunteer projects and training on maintenance reporting and conservation cleaning and will assist with fundraising.

This role works with the Church Engagement Manager to create multiple points of connection for UK Churches and church-based volunteers to engage with BMS and with our story of mission. It will create and maintain relationships with churches and key Baptist leaders to help ensure they recognise BMS as an organisation which can take them deeper in their understanding of mission and global transformation.   

For this role, knowledge of BMS’ supporter base, experience of the evangelical aspects of BMS’ mission and full support of its missionary work are crucial.

• Communication and interpersonal skills: You will be a confident speaker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build meaningful relationships between BMS and leaders across BMS-supporting churches.
• Christian ministry: You have significant insight into the Christian ministry and experience working with churches including Baptist Churches.
• Passion: You have a global vision, a heart for mission, and a passion for the role of the UK church in a growing world church.
• Strategic planning: You are a strategic thinker capable of developing and implementing a plan for our approach to Church engagement and volunteer development.
• Safeguarding knowledge: You have proven knowledge of up-to-date safeguarding processes and their application.

Location: This role can be office-based or hybrid but the role holder must be based in the United Kingdom, with regular UK travels

We are happy to appoint a candidate who lives too far from Didcot to attend the office regularly if they are willing to attend key events such as induction days and team away days (typically 4 times per year). The cost of travel to BMS Didcot whether on a regular basis or infrequently, would be borne by the employee.
