We are looking for an experienced Legacy and Tribute Manager who will be responsible for generating around £1.4 million annually through compassionate and professional management of Gifts in Wills and Tribute Giving. You will lead, shape and deliver RUHX’s Legacy & Tribute Programme—one of our most impactful income streams that enables supporters to honour exceptional care given at the RUH.

We’re looking for an experienced legacy fundraising professional with a strong track record in generating income through Gifts in Wills, creating inspiring marketing campaigns, and managing complex legacy administration with confidence and accuracy. You will bring proven expertise in handling sensitive donor relationships, working with solicitors and executors, and navigating legal processes with minimal guidance. 

Main duties of the job

We need someone highly skilled, emotionally resilient, and able to lead a busy programme while delivering outstanding stewardship rooted in compassion.

The organisation is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. They have been at the forefront of shaping and coordinating responses to domestic violence and abuse through practice for almost 50 years. They empower survivors by keeping their voices at the heart of the charity’s work, working with and for women and children by listening to them and responding to their needs.

This is a full-time, permanent role, with flexible working arrangements with a salary of £34,200 per year (plus Inner London Weighting of £3,483.94, if eligible). This is a hybrid role and the postholder will be expected to work from their offices in either Bristol or London 1-2 days a week.   

The Senior Partnerships Officer will work closely with the Partnership's & Development Manager and Head of Fundraising to continually develop and maintain strategy for maximising income from corporate supporters. You will have personal responsibility for a portfolio of prospective and existing corporate supporters to solicit large donations, apply for funding and ensure meaningful partnerships are created.

They are looking for someone with proven experience of creating meaningful multi-year partnerships, securing sizeable donations. You will also have demonstrable experience of meeting/exceeding targets set.

About the Roundhouse:

The Role

You will be joining a team focusing on supporting our work with young people accessing creativity and employment in the creative industries and directly supporting the creative studios which sit below our venue. 

As part of a team of 5, raising £700k for the current year, rising to £1m by 2028, as part of an overall fundraised income goal of £6 Million. The role reports into the Head of Philanthropy and sits within the directorship of Partnerships and Impact, which also holds the organisation’s programmes with young people and public affairs. You’ll manage a junior members of the team as well as working closely with our Events manager and Principle gift lead. 
 

You’ll be responsible for driving your own portfolio of 90 prospects and donors, including 4-figure and 5-figure levels.

A day in the life of a philanthropy manager could begin with researching and identifying prospects from a recent event; giving a studio tour to prospective donors and enthusing them about our youth programme; preparing a report for a major donor about our work with young entrepreneurs; and ending the day in the members bar with a current supporter who’s there for a gig. 

Weekend and evening work will be required according to business needs, mainly through attending departmental events with donors and attending the members bar. 

About you:

We would expect applicants to this role to have at least 3 years previous experience in managing a portfolio of prospects and donors and securing gifts toward charitable aims or projects. The ideal candidate would also have management experience of staff or volunteers and of working in a team towards a shared  fundraising goal.

About Team Domenica

Team Domenica exists to help young people with learning disabilities build independent, fulfilling lives through sustained employment. Founded in 2016 by Baroness Rosa Monckton, the charity combines a Department for Education-recognised Specialist Further Education college, employment coaching and long-term employer support to achieve unrivalled outcomes for young people with learning  disabilities - around 80% of programme graduates move into paid work.

Over the last decade the organisation has supported more than 200 candidates and built a portfolio of social enterprises that provide genuine workplace training: Café Domenica and a coffee roastery. Most excitingly, we have recently opening The North Star pub. The North Star is a purpose-acquired, prime-location commercial venture adjacent to the Royal Pavilion, operating as a full-scale hospitality business (circa £1.3m turnover) and functioning as a peerless, day-to-day training environment for candidates while contributing vital unrestricted income. Now that the pub is fully up and running, it presents a major opportunity for commercial development. Growth to date has been rapid and successful, but the organisation now needs a Chief Executive who will consolidate operational foundations, secure sustainable trading and fundraising, and protect the quality and culture that make Team Domenica distinctive as we prepare for further growth.

As our next Chief Executive, you will:

• Strategic Leadership & Direction - Set and deliver a strategy that balances growth, financial sustainability and strong employment outcomes for candidates.

• Commercial & Social Enterprise Performance - Lead the charity’s commercial enterprises, primarily The North Star pub, but also Café Domenica and the roastery - ensuring strong commercial performance and high-quality training opportunities.

Who you are

• Confident commercial leader with P&L ownership and demonstrable success improving trading performance in hospitality, retail or other trading businesses.

• Experienced income generator in the charitable sector - trusts, major donors, corporate partnerships and individual giving.

• Credible and committed to specialist education and employment pathways for people with learning disabilities.

• Strong communicator and public spokesperson, comfortable with high-profile fundraising and stakeholder engagement.

• Financially literate, resilient and emotionally intelligent; visible, hands-on and pragmatic as a leader.
Desirable: direct hospitality experience, experience scaling social enterprises or knowledge of FE regulation/Ofsted would be advantageous.

RUHX are seeking a motivated and collaborative Charity Impact Manager to lead our internal grants programme and ensure that charitable funds deliver measurable impact for patients, families and staff.

You will play a key role in implementing our new grant‑making system to strengthen monitoring, compliance, approvals and financial forecasting across all restricted and unrestricted funds. Working closely with clinical, operational and fundraising teams, you will help shape a strong pipeline of strategically aligned projects and support the delivery of donor‑funded initiatives, including restricted grants and major donor commitments.

Main duties of the job

No two days in our team are the same. In this role you will spilt your time working onsite in the office in Bath, so that you can meet clinical colleagues across the hospital, with opportunities to work flexibly from home.  You will have a varied role which involves managing a wide range of duties and tasks including.

• Lead the RUHX internal grants process, ensuring all charitable expenditure is compliant and aligned to strategic priorities and donor intent.
• Support the implementation and management of a new grant‑making system that tracks assessments, approvals, expenditure, commitments and fund forecasting.
• Build strong relationships with RUH teams to encourage and support high‑quality, high‑impact grant applications.
• Work with the Development Team to deliver and monitor donor‑funded and restricted‑grant projects, ensuring accurate reporting for stewardship.
• Lead impact measurement and evaluation across all funded projects, producing clear and engaging reports for governance and donors.
• Monitor fund utilisation, project progress and risks, providing regular updates to senior leadership and the Charities Committee.

Volunteering and Foster Caring Manager is a new role at Mayhew, reflective of the importance of volunteering and foster caring in our ability to deliver our onward strategy and direction. This is a highly visible and important role for Mayhew. The postholder will be working across all teams with staff and volunteers, supporters, partners and members of the public.

This role requires an effective leader and manager, with practical subject matter expertise in volunteering good practice, strong organisational skills, and a drive, rooted in passion for both animal welfare and volunteering, to enable Mayhew to reach many more dogs and cats and pet owners who need us by cultivating a thriving, engaged and diverse volunteer base.

Staff and volunteers at Mayhew, particularly in animal facing and public facing roles have duties that can be physically and emotionally demanding, sometimes interfacing with dogs and cats and pet owners who are in distress and facing heart-breaking situations. Key Focus Areas

• Commissioning and managing the creation of accessible and effective assets (e.g. presentations, toolkits, social content, video) that are used in the delivery and implementation of a wide variety of programmes and campaigns, across diverse themes. This will involve close collaboration with the Senior Programmes Design Manager and our partners.
• Developing and overseeing integrated marketing and communications plans for the programmes and campaigns – considering objectives, audiences, channels, timelines and KPIs - in close collaboration with Community Integrated Care’s in-house internal and external Marketing and Communications team and operational colleagues, and our partners, to ensure that we reach and empower our target audiences.
• Identifying, delivering and collaborating on profile-raising activations with partners (e.g., events, co-branded campaigns, ambassador activity, PR opportunities) that celebrate the charity, extend reach, and support a more inclusive society, working with Community Integrated Care’s external communications team – including PR and Media, Social Media, Policy & Public Affairs and Design specialists.

Requirements

BRAND & FUNDRAISING COMMUNICATIONS (70%) 

• Manage communications across Mission 44’s portfolio of brand and corporate partners, serving as the primary contact.
• Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with partners to strengthen engagement and impact.
• Develop and implement integrated communications plans (owned, earned, paid and shared) that support brand growth, income generation and organisational objectives.
• Identify and deliver compelling storytelling opportunities that highlight shared initiatives and drive visibility of the partnership.

• Account manage the day-to-day relationship with Mission 44’s media agency, ensuring the delivery of high quality media coverage (reactive and proactive) to meet organisational objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and key media contacts where necessary. 
• Monitor, evaluate and report on media coverage and performance, delivering regular insight and recommendations to the senior leadership team.
• Support crisis communications and reputational risk management as required.
• Work closely with the founder’s brand and communications team on joint high-profile press moments.

TALENT ENGAGEMENT (10%) 

• Support talent engagement including strategy development, recruitment and ongoing engagement.

Additionally, the team comes into the office during busier periods, such as financial year-end and audit, to collaborate with auditors (June/July). You can work remotely for the rest of the time. Equally, you may prefer to work from the office full-time. We encourage all colleagues to visit member hospices to help inform our work and you may be able to work from there. 

Contractually this role is London-based.

You should be comfortable working with financial systems and software, with the ability to efficiently manage data, generate reports, and ensure accurate income tracking.
