The Katie Piper Foundation is a small, national charity founded in 2009 by Katie Piper, a burns survivor. We exist to provide rehabilitation to survivors of life-altering burns and traumatic scarring.

This is a new and varied role where you will be responsible for the development of our supporter-led fundraising and challenge events portfolio, be involved in event management and administration and provide exceptional stewardship to maximise fundraising from supporters and donors. UD Music Foundation is a Black-led National Youth Music Organisation based in Stratford, Newham, with a 25-year track record rooted in Black music culture. Operations & People Support Officer

Job Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the Charity’s operations. You will be the first point of contact for supporters and will deliver outstanding customer care and donor stewardship.

You will build strong working relationships with Charity colleagues, donors (existing and potential), volunteers and Trust staff. The role supports the fundraising teams, assists with the hospital and online shop, and plays a key part in coordinating and administering the Charity’s volunteering function. Main Duties & Responsibilities

Fundraising & Office

• Undertake day-to-day administrative tasks as directed by the Operations & People Manager and Team Leader, including preparing letters, reports and memos to a high professional standard.

• Handle sensitive information appropriately, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

• Deal with all incoming telephone enquiries in a professional and helpful manner, directing calls correctly and taking accurate messages.

• Support the efficient running of the public Charity office by welcoming donors and visitors in a friendly and professional way.

People / HR Support

Provide People/HR administrative support in the following areas:

• Volunteer coordination, ensuring a robust process from expression of interest through to induction.

• Ensuring all staff have DBS checks in line with Trust requirements.

• Administration of staff annual leave and absence reporting.

• Creating staff correspondence, including pay award, furlough and other required communications.

Other Duties

• Act as an outstanding advocate for Alder Hey Children’s Charity, in line with organisational values.

Location: This role is based across two locations around 30 minutes from each other in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC)

We’re looking for a calm, reliable and friendly Night Concierge  to join our team based in RBKC (Royal Borough Kensington and Chelsea) to support our residents who have multiple needs including with daily living, mental health, substance and alcohol use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds. You’ll help create a safe, welcoming and well run environment overnight, offering reassurance and practical support to residents when they need it most. This role is key to ensuring our services remain secure and responsive throughout the night. You’ll carry out regular safety checks, monitor access, respond to emergencies, and provide helpful handovers to the day team. You’ll also support residents with any queries, maintain clear records, and help keep the environment clean and safe. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring our buildings are safe by monitoring, completing welfare checks and responding affectively and appropriately to emergencies
• Maintaining professionalism and kindness with visitors, attending to calls, managing deliveries and ensuring great communication with the team
• Providing clear morning handovers with key updates on residents, AINMs, incidents, or safeguarding concerns
• Remain alert and monitor CCTV throughout the shift
• Working with the wider team to make sure any urgent issues are picked up and followed through
• Adapting to service needs to support risk assessments, safeguarding checks, and service standards
• Supporting residents to build confidence and independence, contributing to a psychologically informed space where everyone is treated with respect and dignity
• Noticing when someone might be struggling with their physical or mental health, and taking prompt action to prevent escalation

As Finance Officer, you will support and deputise for the Finance Manager in all aspects of the finance role including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, bank and cash reconciliation and the processing of donations (please see the Job Description for more details). You will also support our residents in the management of their money and benefits and accompany them to relevant appointments. A driver’s licence is essential for this role.

You will have relevant accounting/bookkeeping qualifications e.g. AAT Technician Level and have experience of financial management, ideally in the not-for-profit sector. You will be a quick learner, able to manage multiple priorities and enjoy working as part of a small team that has a real impact upon people’s lives.

The Society of Antiquaries of Scotland are looking to hire a new member of staff to help co-ordinate and deliver the final two regional research frameworks as part of the Scottish Archaeological Research Framework (ScARF) project.

The role helps the Society deliver its programme activity to support its mission and vision. This role will include day-to-day management of both the North East of Scotland Archaeological Research Framework and the Forth Valley and Fife Archaeological Research Framework. The role will also contribute to other research-related activities related to the Scottish Archaeological Research Framework. The role will report to the Society Head of Research and have the support of the NESARF and Forth Valley and Fife Project Steering Groups and the authority to run the project on behalf of the Project Advisory Group. The role will help deliver Society aims relating to external strategies as required.

Role: Research Manager – full-time, fixed term for three years

Contract: 36 months (three years)

Salary: £35,400 per annum, with an additional 10% pension contribution

Hours: 37 hours (five days) per week with flexible daytime working hours on Monday–Friday, and an occasional requirement to assist at evening or weekend events with time off in lieu (TOIL) provided

JOB PURPOSE

The NNS Networker will support the delivery of the Neighbourhood Network Scheme in Erdington by linking older people and younger adults (18–49) with additional needs to services and opportunities. The role will involve mapping community assets, building partnerships, delivering capacity-building activities, and evaluating impact. Working closely with Compass Support and other stakeholders, the Networker will help ensure joined-up care, stronger communities, and better outcomes for local residents.

Some Key Responsibilities

· Map and maintain a community asset register to support residents and social care teams.

· Engage and support local community groups, carers, and residents to build capacity and strengthen provision.

· Promote and assist with the administration of small grants to local community organisations.

· Coordinate and deliver events, workshops, and training sessions that promote health, wellbeing, and community connections.

· Support the use of public health impact measures and contribute to monitoring and reporting outcomes.

· Represent Erdington NNS at local and citywide forums, networks, and cross-sector meetings.

· Collaborate with Compass Support, statutory services, and community partners to ensure joined-up support.

· Promote the values, policies, and standards of Witton Lodge Community Association at all times.

· Undertake other duties that support the effective delivery of the Scheme.

Service Delivery Lead

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work alongside the current Service Delivery Lead and wider service delivery team across the North West. Applications from individuals who are seeking flexible working options, including reduced hours or job shares are welcomed.

Location: Home-based, North West. However, travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings including occasional overnight stays for training or national meetings)

Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week

Salary: £30,780 per annum (FTE £51,300 per annum) (inner London weighting £2,370 per annum or outer London weighting £1,365 per annum  may be applied in accordance with where you live)

The Role

The successful candidate will guide and inspire the North West teams towards a future where stroke survivors and their loved ones are supported to live their best lives after stroke

Key responsibilities include:

• Relationship Manager - Contribute to service retention, development, locality income and services.
• Team Leader - Coach and lead your team, supporting them to deliver and develop.
• Contract Manager - Ensure the quality of commissioned contracts in the locality.
• Service Quality Developer - Deliver an oversight and understanding of each service in relation to resource, value, service specification, quality of delivery produced in order to support teams to identify issues and blockages and enhance service quality.
• Negotiator - Represent the organisation in a professional and authentic manner articulating the needs of stroke survivors and the value our services bring.
• System Influencer - Represent the organisation in a professional and authentic manner challenging the external health and social care systems where necessary and acting as a critical friend to improve the experience of people across the whole stroke pathway.
• Insight Gatherer and Sharer - Prepare information with leadership colleagues around organisational key messaging to take to external meetings. You will share insight from meetings externally and internally with key colleagues to shape policy and work plans.
• Connector - Communicate and share relevant information on service delivery in our locality with leadership colleagues to enable us to discuss and update our locality plan and priorities.

About You

You will have a proven record of:

• Management experience in relation to service delivery
• Experience of working in partnership with other organisations, ideally in health and social care/the NHS
• Experience of leading high performing teams with paid staff and volunteers and experiencing in growing and developing staff, volunteers and teams.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively balance a number of competing priorities, an agile and flexible approach to workload, and balanced decision making skills

We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Coordinator to support in our clinical service delivery. Many of our clients have complex needs and this role ensures that clients receive mental health assessment and important aspects of the clinical pathway as well as liaison with other internal and external services as needed.

About the role

The role involves assessment, care planning and provision of stabilisation and reintegration to clients with the most complex needs receiving our services. Working together with our therapists, and legal and welfare staff, the ideal candidate will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker with significant experience of working in the mental health sector with complex mental health presentations and will have a passion for working with asylum seekers, refugees and survivors of torture.

We are currently finalising our strategy re-fresh and the Glasgow team will be piloting new models of service delivery. This is an exciting development within the organisation and so we envisage the post holder contributing to implementation of the national strategy as well as shaping the delivery within Scotland.

This is an exciting role working with the guidance of the Peer Coordinator and in partnership with the London Joint Working Group, local substance use services, the Harm Reduction Peer Support Lead  will support the delivery of a peer led needle and syringe program (NSP) across the borough of Hackney at SWERVE the Harm Reduction Hub. This will include supporting delivery of the service and developing relationships and partnership working with local statutory and voluntary service providers who provide support and care for our potential client group.

The Female Harm Reduction Peer Support Lead will assist in the delivery of secondary NSP provision, naloxone distribution and educational workshops to communities where women are in need including outreach from the Hackney Harm Reduction Hub to for example sex workers, BAME communities, LGBTQI and people who suffer domestic and gender based violence, with a view to enhancing harm reduction provision across the area.
