Power to Prosper is a national community wealth building programme, delivered by the New Economics Foundation (NEF) in partnership with a network of community hubs across the UK. The programme works to build community-owned economic power and challenge racial and economic inequality.

Power to Prosper is in the process of becoming an independent organisation and is currently being incubated within the New Economics Foundation group. During this incubation period, contracts of employment will be offered on a fixed-term basis through NEF Consulting.

Working alongside the Executive Director, you will help design and build almost every aspect of the organisation: governance, finance, people, operations, organisational development and compliance. Equally importantly, you will help shape how those things are done.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Programme Manager to lead the management of a new Water, Sanitation and Hygiene programme in Mozambique. The programme will be delivered in partnership with a Mozambican organisation and aims to improve access to safe, inclusive and sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene services for vulnerable communities in Mozambique. It will include activities such as construction or rehabilitation of water systems, sanitation facilities, hygiene promotion, community engagement, institutional capacity strengthening and climate-resilient WASH planning.

The Programme Manager will ensure high-quality, timely and compliant delivery within budget. Based at our office in London, you will be responsible for the programme’s overall performance, partnership management, financial oversight, risk management, safeguarding, monitoring, evaluation and learning, and donor reporting.

You should have:

• Significant experience managing international development or humanitarian programmes, including WASH or a substantial WASH component.
• Experience working with local or national partners and managing institutional donor grants, preferably FCDO-funded programmes.
• Strong experience in programme planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial monitoring, risk and compliance.
• Experience using theories of change, logframes, indicators and MEL plans, and translating data into management decisions.
• Experience producing high-quality donor reports and undertaking international programme-monitoring visits.
• Experience working in complex, fragile or resource-constrained contexts.
• Good knowledge of WASH, GEDSI, sustainable and climate-resilient programming, and programme-cycle management.
• Financial literacy and confidence reviewing budgets, expenditure reports and programme data.
• Fluent written and spoken English and working knowledge of Portuguese

About the Role

As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will provide frontline services to support medium-risk victims of domestic abuse and work within a multi-agency framework to complete risk assessments, safety planning and offer advocacy & practical support.

Key tasks include:

• Assessing risks and needs using evidence-based checklists.
• Delivering tailored support and information.
• Working with other agencies and advocating on behalf of service users in order to help them access services to keep them safe.

About You

You will need:

• To be able to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/needs and interests and promote organisation interests and values.
• To ideally hold a SafeLives IDVA accreditation, relevant degree, vocational qualification or relevant experience of delivering a service and working with domestic abuse victim's/service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting. Additional training will be provided to achieve SafeLives IDVA accreditation if not currently held.

About the role: 

We are looking to appoint an experienced fundraiser to manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships to help fund the growth of our care services, and to build relationships with companies to help them achieve their CSR goals. 

Reporting to the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager. You will be part of a team driving Rainbow Trust’s Corporate income, building and maintaining the pipeline through effective networking and stewardship. You will be responsible for the stewardship of varied corporate accounts to whom you will become a main contact and provide excellent account management. Some accounts raising six figure sums.

Your Mission 
CALM’s Corporate Partnerships Team is scaling up and hunting for an ambitious and experienced Corporate Partnerships Manager who is motivated by results and a natural-born relationship builder.  The role will be responsible for managing, growing and extending a portfolio of existing corporate partnerships, and, where appropriate, may be asked to support with new business by attending meetings, pitches and staff votes on an ad hoc basis.

In this dynamic role, you will also take the reins of a brand-new, high-profile strategic partnership worth £250k+ per annum with a household-name brand, leading its strategic growth and turning ambitious plans into real-world impact. Because this nationwide partnership requires regular travel to various sites to deliver that impact face-to-face, you will need a full UK driving license and access to your own car. You will work hand-in-hand with our incredible Services team to ensure this flagship partnership directly supports, engages, and uplifts employees.

Your profile
Responsibilities

• Provide excellent relationship management to a portfolio of corporate partners, including, but not limited to, producing account management plans, setting partnership objectives, supporting fundraising initiatives and employee engagement, thereby significantly contributing to the corporate fundraising budget and strategy.
• Ensure partnership milestones and fundraising targets are monitored, met, reported on and celebrated with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Confidently represent CALM at key meetings and events, where public speaking and delivering presentations may be required.
• Work closely with the Services team to create bespoke support products for key corporate partner, as needed
• Work closely with the Services, Data and MarComms teams to build engaging, accurate and tailored impact reports for partners that encourage long-term support.
• Devise sustainable exit strategies for partners that leave behind a lasting legacy for CALM.
• Build strong working relationships and collaborate closely with colleagues across CALM to complement partnership activity.
• Support the Corporate Partnerships team as a whole to be more productive and efficient by identifying and making improvements to working practices and processes.
• Support the corporate partnerships team, where necessary, in securing new partnerships. This may involve (but not limited to) providing quotes or case studies, attending meetings or pitches, and canvassing for staff votes.

What’s the job?
The Trading Support Assistant role is a full time, permanent post within the Trading Support Department. Your purpose will be to provide administrative support to the central billing team, working across several different teams, and getting relevant information from suppliers where required. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the trading support team and review product lines, inputting and checking information across multiple systems. This will involve taking in information from different sources and entering it into a variety of different systems, making attention to detail and logic crucial skills for success. You will also act as one of the points of contact within NUS’s relationship with students’ unions who are part of the purchasing consortium and with administrative service providers, such as Focus IT. Furthermore, you will act as one of the points of contact within NUS’s relationship with suppliers to ensure that relevant sustainability information is provided through the tender processes. You will report to the Central Billing Manager.

Other responsibilities include maintaining awareness of and acting within agreed processes and procedures for central billing and contract administration, undertaking all necessary duties and activities to deliver the role’s responsibilities, alerting the Central Billing Manager to any barriers encountered and contributing to the successful resolution of any issues. You will also be expected to actively engage in individual and team professional development activities, carry out responsibilities in a resource-efficient manner, and adhere to NUS policies and practices, actively supporting and promoting the NUS vision, mission and objectives.

About the Role

About the Place-Based Resilience Team 

The Place-Based Resilience team delivers R-Cities' Resilience for Communities (R4C) program at neighborhood scale, working with communities, cities, and funders across North America, Greater Manchester, and Malaysia. The team combines structured resilience assessment with community-led design, and translates what works in one place into practice elsewhere. 

The role 

You run day-to-day delivery of the R4C Greater Manchester program. You own the program's operational spine: plans, trackers, records, and the monitoring and evaluation data that evidences impact to funders. You also lead discrete workstreams including workshop facilitation, events, corporate volunteering with Zurich, and support to local implementation partners. 

R4C Greater Manchester is currently delivered with local implementation partners at two demonstrator sites, Edgeley in Stockport with An Actions Common CIC and Higher Folds in Wigan with HF Works, alongside institutional partners including the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Stockport and Wigan Councils. The program is expanding to two new communities this year. It is funded by the Z Zurich Foundation and is supported by Zurich UK. The challenge is holding delivery, partner capability, and funder evidence together across four sites as the program moves into its second phase. 

How the role is set up today 

The program is entering Phase 2 following the close of Phase 1. The Lead - Place-Based Resilience currently carries direct delivery responsibility for Greater Manchester alongside portfolio leadership. You take on day-to-day delivery, with scope to broaden as that transition progresses.

Program delivery and coordination (25%) 

You own: 

• Program plans, delivery trackers, milestones, and action logs across both sites, kept current and accurate. 

• Delivery against agreed deadlines, with risks to timelines identified and escalated early.

We are now continuing to grow across the Yorkshire region, with a launch in Hull, Bridlington and Goole in the coming months.  We are looking to recruit two Family Engagement Officers to join our dedicated Yorkshire team.  We are recruiting for two separate positions across the region.

One role focuses on maintaining and supporting our successful, established service in West Yorkshire. 

The second offers a unique opportunity to play a key part in the growth and development of our vital service as we expand into the East Riding. 

As our ideal candidate you will be happy to travel in and around Yorkshire, and be able to travel regularly to meet with the team and to conduct home visits across the region. You will also need to be able to attend our Leeds Warehouse, or other areas when required.

You will be someone who has good experience of the broad range of day-to-day case management, working with external partners, volunteer support, and administrative activities that working in a dynamic charity brings, and someone who enjoys the busyness and variety of this.

Alongside your family support and engagement-related skills and experience, we’ll be looking to see that you have a genuine care for our mission and, as such, are self-motivated to do a great job and be a values-led member of our team.
