Actively Interviewing
This organisation is scheduling interviews as applications come in. They're ready to hire as soon as they find the right person. Don't miss your opportunity, apply now!
Are you an organised, confident communicator who enjoys bringing people together to make things happen? Youth United Foundation is looking for a Project Coordinator to support our work with our national network of uniformed youth organisations and partner organisations.
You’ll play a key role in coordinating projects, forums and partner relationships that help more young people access the life-changing opportunities offered by uniformed youth groups. Working closely with our Director, network members and partner organisations, you’ll keep activity on track, support stakeholder engagement, gather insight, and help shape clear reporting and future plans.
This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable working with people at all levels: from operational leads to senior stakeholders. You may be coordinating national network forums one day, supporting research and interviews the next, or helping bring uniformed youth organisations together for Remembrance Sunday activity at the Cenotaph.
We’re a small, friendly and flexible team with a big mission: to improve outcomes for young people, regardless of background, by expanding access to uniformed youth groups. If you are collaborative, detail-focused and motivated by partnership working, we’d love to hear from you.
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, home based with regular travel to London and occasional UK travel.
Ideal for someone with: project coordination experience, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and an interest in youth, charity or membership-network work.
A note on use of AI We recognise that AI tools can be genuinely useful for organising thoughts or checking spelling and grammar, and we've no objection to that. That said, what matters most to us is hearing directly from you. We are interested in your own experiences, your own voice, your own reasoning. So please only use AI, if at all, to help plan your response or check it afterwards, not to generate the substance of your answers. Ultimately, we want to know how you think and communicate, not how well an AI can do it for you.
Proposed dates for Interviews - First round 17th and 19th August
Second round - week commencing 24th August

We know the value global majority voices bring and therefore, we are strongly encouraging applicants from these backgrounds to apply. We are also a disability confident employer and welcome applicants with disabilities.

However we would caution applicants not to rely too much on AI in drafting answers to application questions. We want to hear your authentic voice arising out of your experience, and we will be looking for answers that use examples and experiences that are specific to you. You are more likely to be able to produce that kind of content yourself than an AI will.
We reserve the right to close this role ahead of the deadline once we reach a suitable number of applications, so please apply as soon as you can!
