We are looking for a proactive, empathetic, and highly organised Activities Support Co-Ordinator to join our team.

The Role

Working directly with our CEO, you will be the engine room of our Activities Support Programme. This is a primarily remote role, but because our heart is in the community, you must be based in Cambridgeshire to facilitate local connections and occasional travel within the county.

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Connecting: Triage and assess applications, building relationships with families and referring professionals to understand a child’s unique needs.
• Vetting: Conducting risk assessments and due diligence to ensure every activity provider we partner with meets our gold-standard safeguarding requirements.
• Facilitating: Managing the "matchmaking" process—finding the right club, negotiating payments, and tracking the budget.
• Evidencing: Collecting the stories and data that prove our impact, helping us grow and reach more young people.

Who You Are

You are someone who balances a big heart with a sharp eye for detail. You understand that "equity" means doing whatever it takes to level the playing field.

• Experienced: You have a background in social work, youth work, teaching, or a related field. You’ve worked with families facing disadvantage, and you know how to navigate complex family difficulties.

We are looking for a Finance Systems Manager to lead how our finance systems support the organisation now and into the future. This role focuses on developing a systems roadmap, optimising our technology to ensure systems are efficient, well integrated and support strong financial processes. 

You will bring a solid understanding of finance alongside experience of managing or implementing finance systems. Taking a systems-led approach, you will look at how processes can be improved, automated and better connected, while also being comfortable taking a hands-on role in system configuration, troubleshooting and day-to-day support when needed.

You will work closely with colleagues across Finance, IT and the wider organisation, using data and insight to improve reporting, data quality and efficiency. Experience with cloud-based systems, data warehouse environments and modern reporting tools would be beneficial, but we are open to different system backgrounds. 

We’re looking for someone who combines strong finance knowledge with a systems mindset and who can work collaboratively while leading change and improvement. Charity experience is advantageous but not essential.

We are seeking a male flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Sessional Worker to support the delivery of services for Young Carers aged 5-16. Due to an increase in trips and off-site activities, and to ensure we provide appropriate support for all young people- particularly our male Young Carers - we are particularly seeking a male sessional worker to join the team. The role involves two key parts. The first is helping to deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. The second is supporting with outreach to local schools, colleges, community settings and professionals to identify and engage Young Carers. 

About The Role: 

You will work across two key age groups- 5-11 and 12–16 - delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed. You will deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls and aim to identify and engage Young Carers in the community. You will also help ensure young Carers feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. We are particularly looking for a male sessional worker who is available for our upcoming residential trip to the Young Carers Festival on the 26th – 28th June and a day trip to Southend-On-Sea on the 6th June.  This is a sessional role, therefore hours are not guaranteed but will be offered based on project need.

As Grants and Outreach Officer, you will play a key role in driving Electrical Safety First’s mission to reduce deaths, injuries, and accidents caused by electricity, particularly for the most vulnerable in society.

You will help manage the Charity’s grant scheme programme, which distributes £1,000,000 annually to fund community-based initiatives that raise awareness of electrical safety and reduce risks for those who face the most danger. The King’s Trust is looking for a passionate and experienced Safeguarding Advisor to join our national Safeguarding Team on a maternity cover basis. This is a vital role where your expertise will help protect and promote the safety and well-being of young people aged 11 to 30, with a particular focus on those aged 18 to 25. Working at the heart of the organisation, you will handle safeguarding referrals, manage cases and work closely with colleagues across the Trust to ensure young people are supported at the right time and in the right way.

You will be a trusted point of contact for a designated region, offering clear, confident advice and building strong relationships with delivery teams and external agencies. Alongside case management, you will contribute to investigations, deliver safeguarding training and play an active role in shaping and improving safe practice across the Trust. About The Role
We are currently recruiting a passionate and hard-working individual to help make a positive difference and provide first-class support to our Alzheimer's Society staff. Our Employee Support Assistant is part of our People Operations team and the first point of contact for Alzheimer’s Society employees requiring support with systems and processes that are part of working for the society, from joining to leaving.

We provide advice and guidance on policies and processes, making things easier and clearer for everyone as we deliver our work for people affected by dementia. 
This role ensures that we are safeguarding our employees, volunteers, those who engage with our services and the organisation through a strong emphasis on compliance. 

Duties and responsibilities:

- Process and monitor Criminal Record Checks for our employees and contractors. 
- Process employee changes, following relevant procedures. 
- Update and enter information on various systems, ensuring a high level of data quality is maintained.
- Monitor data reports and ensure compliance with key processes.
- Work collaboratively with our wider teams, including our Talent Acquisition, People Partnering, IT, and Payroll.
- Signposting employees and managers to relevant policies and information.
- Comply with data protection regulations.
- Undertake other duties or projects commensurate with the nature and grade of this post as required.

About you:

- Be able to always deliver first-class customer service, understanding that Alzheimer’s Society employees are the customers of our team. 
- Have a keen eye for detail with previous experience in an administration role.
- Be comfortable working in a collaborative team, looking to share ideas and ways to improve our processes.
- Be comfortable using Microsoft Office software such as Word and Excel, as well as other bespoke IT packages.

We are looking for new team members to join our service supporting Carers across Havering to improve their health and wellbeing, and access wider support that meets their needs.

This is a great opportunity to support local communities, working with Adult Carers and Young Adult Carers and helping them to make informed choices, build confidence, sustain their independence, and access support that meets their individual needs. You will carry out assessments to understand people’s individual circumstances and level of need, working together to co-produce support plans. This will involve meeting Carers in community settings and conducting home visits. The team also facilities coffee mornings and activities offering Carers opportunities for peer support and to take a break from caring.

You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access for Carers to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities. You will support the development of escalation plans so that Carers are prepared for unforeseen circumstances that would impact negatively on ability to care.

We have full and part-time roles available (minimum 22.5 hours), and applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Carers and/or vulnerable adults in a relevant sector. It’s essential that you are confident using IT and maintaining excellent records. You’ll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services.

As Major Donor Manager, you will support the delivery of UK Youth's major donor programme, cultivating high-value, long-term relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) individuals in support of UK Youth's mission and vision.
