Role Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, but dynamic team at Access – The Foundations for Social Investment. The Assistant Management Accountant will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Access's financial records. The role will work closely with colleagues across the organisation and provide support to the Senior Finance and Operations Manager and Director of Finance and Operations.

Main responsibilities include:
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (guide c.85%)
- Keeping the accounting system up to date, ready for review by the Senior Finance and Operations Manager, this includes but not limited to weekly bank uploads, posting weekly and monthly journals and reconciling Access's bank accounts and balance sheet.
- Assisting the Senior Finance and Operations Manager with preparation of monthly management accounts, annual budgets and Access's year end audit.
- Supporting treasury management by maintaining cashflow records and assisting with forecasting future cash requirements.
- Managing the accounts payable and receivable functions
- Maintaining organised financial files to support monthly reporting and the year-end audit
- Work with the Finance team to ensure that appropriate financial controls are in place and are being followed in order to comply with financial regulations and internal policies
- Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time, consistent with the nature, level and responsibilities of the role

The post holder will undertake a broad range of facilities management, maintenance, compliance, health and safety, customer service and administrative duties across multiple sites, ensuring that all buildings are maintained to a high standard and statutory compliance obligations are met.

Building Operations
- Open and prepare buildings each morning for operational use.
- Unlock, inspect and secure all buildings and external areas.

As a Shop Manager for Alder Hey Children’s Charity, you will deliver sales, Gift Aid and profit targets to generate income for our charity. You will empower and lead a diverse shop team, including volunteers, always demonstrating our Charity Values of:

The Shop Manager will be an integral part of the wider Charity team.
Income Generation
- Accountable for the shop’s performance in relation to all sales targets and Gift Aid targets and KPI’s. Ensuring that the results are communicated to the shop team and that all staff and volunteers are aware of, understand and are working to meet/exceed the agreed targets and KPI’s.
- Actively drive stock generation through community engagement and donor relationships

We are recruiting one full time permanent Funding Officer in Newcastle upon Tyne. Funding Officers in these roles will primarily be part of the North East regional team delivering our Reaching Communities programme, with opportunities to be involved with other programmes and aspects of the Fund’s wider operations as they arise. About the Role
As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for young people affected by crime. You will make initial contact with CYP via the telephone, then tailor the support to them explaining our services, and assessing the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to young people. .
As a Caseworker you will:
- Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred CYP, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate and recover from their experience.
- Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
- Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
- Keep accurate & confidential case records on a bespoke case management system

About You
You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.

Purpose of the Role
The Safeguarding Manager plays a key leadership role within the Archdiocese Safeguarding Service, supporting the Head of Safeguarding in the delivery and development of a safe, responsive and professional safeguarding function across the Diocese.
The postholder will provide operational management, administrative support, case supervision and guidance, ensuring safeguarding concerns and allegations are managed effectively, compassionately, and in accordance with statutory guidance, national and Archdiocese safeguarding policies, and procedures.
The Safeguarding Manager will help promote a culture of safeguarding across archdiocesan communities, ensuring that children, young people and adults at risk are protected and supported.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Safeguarding Management
- Support the Head of Safeguarding in the day-to-day management of the archdiocesan safeguarding service.
- Oversee the triaging, recording and supervision of safeguarding concerns, allegations, disclosures and referrals across the Diocese.
- Ensure safeguarding casework is managed consistently, appropriately and within required timescales.

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative professional to support the delivery of the Foundation’s Advocacy and Creative Programme. They will contribute to flagship initiatives, including the Commonwealth Short Story Prize and adda, our online literary magazine. The postholder will also deliver creative outputs linked to advocacy priorities, and other high-profile activities that engage civil society, creative practitioners and partners from across the Commonwealth.

As Senior Programme Officer, you will play a key role in delivering creative projects and initiatives, managing relationships with writers, artists and partners, and ensuring the effective coordination of programme activities. The Innovation Manager supports the Director of Innovation to execute core parts of the innovation strategy by embedding improved delivery practices and test-and-learn capabilities across Impact on Urban Health and, where relevant, the wider Foundation, overseeing a priority set of cross-IoUH and within-programme innovation projects.

About the Role
As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims of domestic abuse via the telephone, then tailor the support to them explaining our services, and assessing the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users. Alongside working with the adults who have been victims of doemstic abuse, you will also support children and young people who have experienced crime.

About You

Levenshulme Good Neighbours, (LGN) is a local charitable incorporated organization (reg 1163827) offering befriending services to socially isolated and lonely over 55-year-olds members of the Levenshulme local community. A leadership role with purpose
As our Director of Finance & Resources, you'll do far more than lead finance.
You'll help ensure Bond remains financially resilient, operationally strong and strategically focused so that we can continue supporting the organisations working to create lasting global change.
Working closely with our CEO, Trustees and senior colleagues, you'll provide the financial leadership, organisational insight and strategic challenge that enables confident decision-making across the organisation.
You'll oversee Finance, Planning, Operations, HR and IT, ensuring the systems, people and financial governance behind our work are as strong as the mission we exist to serve.
What you'll be doing
You'll lead:
- Our long-term financial strategy and organisational planning.
- Annual budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Financial sustainability across both restricted and unrestricted funding.
- Board reporting and support to our Finance, Audit & Risk Committee.
- Risk management, company secretarial and organisational compliance.
- Finance, Operations and HR leadership.
- Grant budgeting, reporting and organisational cost recovery.
- Strategic planning that enables teams to maximise their impact.
This is a role for someone equally comfortable presenting to Trustees, supporting colleagues with complex funding proposals, reviewing organisational risk, or rolling up their sleeves to solve operational challenges.
Who we're looking for
You're an experienced finance leader who understands that great organisations need both strong financial stewardship and ambitious thinking.
You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with senior leadership experience and an ability to balance strategic oversight with practical delivery.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience leading finance within a complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of charity finance and grant management.
- Experience working with Boards and Trustees.
- Outstanding planning, analytical and leadership skills.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.

What you’ll do
You will co-deliver training to staff at partner sites and mentors. You will support the development, co-production and delivery of a peer mentoring training programme, using your lived experience of mentoring to help train youth professionals and young mentors, enhance programme content, and contribute to improving mental wellbeing outcomes for children and young people. You will be closely supported by our multidisciplinary AMBIT team, which is made up of clinicians, trainers and practitioners in the field of child mental health.
What you’ll bring
Essential skills and experience:
- Experience of mentoring young people, ideally through a peer mentoring or youth programme.
- Good communication skills, with confidence speaking to groups and sharing your experiences.
- Ability to work well with others and build positive relationships with young people, colleagues and partners.
- Good organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage your time effectively and travel to partner sites when required.
Key details
Hours: flexible, as and when required – a mixture of daytime and evening sessions.
Pay rate: £15.64 per hour.
Location: hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Most work will be at partner sites in Cambridgeshire or London (travel expenses paid). Travel will be required for attending steering groups and training. Occasionally working at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).
Contract type: zero hours – starting in September 2026. The programme is expected to run across two years.
