We are looking for a Refuge Worker to provide specialist, high-quality support to women and children escaping domestic abuse. Based in Southwark, London, this role involves delivering practical and emotional support to survivors, ensuring their safety, and helping them rebuild their lives. Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, you will create a safe and welcoming environment in line with Refuge’s values and commitment to ending violence against women and girls.
As a Refuge Worker, you will support women through crisis, providing keywork sessions, safety planning, and advocacy. Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to serve as Coordinator, leading the mission of Street Pastors in Kingston. Context
Kingston Street Pastors is a churches initiative which has been operating since 2006 deploying Christian volunteers in the town centre in the night time to Care, Listen and Help. We enjoy excellent relationships with key stakeholders in Kingston’s night time economy including our local council, police and businesses. Within the wider Street Pastors movement we have made significant contributions over the years to develop policy and practice and have worked closely with neighbouring Street Pastors initiatives and with the Ascension Trust. For governance purposes Kingston Street Pastors operates as an affiliated project of Oxygen, a Kingston based youth work charity.
Our key strategic priorities are to maintain and build on the positive relationships we have with our local council, the police and businesses in the night time economy, taking advantage of opportunities for collaboration, accessing funding and other forms of support. We are perennially focused on the recruitment of new volunteers to serve as Street Pastors and Prayer Pastors to sustain and grow our capacity to deploy teams to the streets.
About the Role
This role has a Genuine Occupational Requirement for the post holder to be a practicing Christian (as outlined by 2010 Equality Act, Section 9)
Our new Coordinator will work closely with the Street Pastors Deputy Coordinator, leading the regular operations of Kingston Street Pastors and the deployment of teams while also overseeing the strategic development of the initiative in response to emerging needs and opportunities.
Applicants should have people skills and demonstrate an ability to solve problems using a range of creative solutions including working with volunteers or using technology in new ways. The ideal candidate will have an ability to work flexibly and manage their time and resource effectively amidst competing priorities.

Help Change Childhoods Through Digital Marketing
We're looking for a Digital Marketing Officer to support the delivery of paid digital campaigns that help Barnardo's reach new supporters and customers and grow our supporter base.
Working as part of our Digital (Acquisition & Loyalty) team, you'll help plan, deliver and optimise digital marketing activity across paid social, PPC, display and email. You'll support campaign delivery from briefing through to reporting, using data and insight to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.

We know that our colleagues go above and beyond in delivering our vital work, driven by their passion and commitment to Barnardo'svalues. We also know that we can only realise our ambitions and achieve better outcomes for more children, thanks to the talent, hard work and creativity of our people.
For all these reasons, we are committed to a new approach to pay and reward, to ensure it is fair, attractive and progressive, which was rolled out in April 2023. This is a positive change for the charity, and a part of ourPeople & CultureStrategy. It will assist us in supporting colleagues to belong, thrive and grow in their colleague journey at Barnardo's and in time will offer clear routes of progression for colleagues in both their career and their pay.
Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band – this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours. About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Senior Events Lead to support our growing portfolio of physical fundraising events. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and delivering a range of challenges and events, from local charity walks to international treks and marathons. This is an ideal position for someone early in their career who is passionate about events, fitness and purpose-driven work.
This hands-on role will help you build valuable experience in events fundraising, logistics, supporter care and campaign delivery, while working across teams to ensure each event achieves its fundraising goals.
