Job Title: Female Recovery Worker
Location: This residential site, located in Brighton, benefits from great transport links, with Hove Station and several local bus routes nearby. Kindly be aware that step free access is not available at this service.
Salary: £26,200
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts of 08:00 - 16:00, 10:00 - 18:00, and 14:30 - 22:00. You will be required to work bank holidays as part of a rota, in line with the needs of the service.
About the Role
We are hiring a Recovery Worker to join our Women's Service based which is based in Hove. The service provides low, medium, and high level support to women who have experienced homelessness, criminal justice history, substance use, mental health, and domestic abuse. As a Recovery Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing person centred support, to help our residents overcome personal challenges, and meet their desired goals/outcomes. You will do this through various support plans and interventions, running and participation of activities, and working alongside various internal and external partners.

aged 25 and under. We are an All-Wales and part England charity providing immediate

The post holder will provide immediate and ongoing emotional and practical support to families
affected by the sudden and unexpected death of their child or young adult.
Main Duties
1.0. Service:
1.1: To initiate immediate support for a caseload of families whose children and young people aged 0-25
have died suddenly and unexpectedly across the region
1.2: To contact all families within 24-48 hours of the referrals by telephone
1.3: Complete an initial assessment of families' needs to identify and plan the support as required in line
with safeguarding and risk reduction
1.4: Offer emotional support and advice to a case load of families through home visits and ongoing
weekly telephone calls
1.5: To liaise with the Counselling Support and Outreach Coordinator, who is responsible for organising
formal support such as counselling, complementary therapy or play therapy, subject to consent from the

healthcare professionals to raise awareness of and promote referrals into the charity

About the role
We’re looking for a London Marathon Officer to join Young Lives vs Cancer and help deliver an exceptional experience for Team Young Lives vs Cancer runners, supporters and volunteers at the 2027 Double TCS London Marathon.
This is an unprecedented, one-off event year and one of our biggest fundraising opportunities – so we’re looking for someone who’s ready to play a hands-on role in making it a huge success.
This fixed-term role sits in our Sports and Challenge Events team, working closely with the Sports and Challenge Events Portfolio Manager to steward our marathon fundraisers, build strong supporter relationships and keep our communities motivated across email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, post and social channels.
You’ll also support event delivery, including registration and training systems, fundraising materials, income checks, volunteer coordination and race-week logistics. We’re looking for someone organised, proactive and confident juggling priorities in a busy events environment.
You’ll need to be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends, with additional office attendance in Bristol and London ahead of the event and availability during London Marathon week in April 2027 (20th to 25th April).

The Role

About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Fundraising Officer within Sense International to help grow income and build lasting relationships with supporters. This is a permanent, full time position working on a hybrid basis from our London office.
Working closely with the Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager, you will play an important role in delivering fundraising activity across a range of income streams, including trusts and corporate foundations, fundraising events and individual giving.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. From researching new funding opportunities and writing compelling grant applications to managing fundraising campaigns and stewarding donors, you'll make a direct contribution to helping Sense International reach more children and young people around the world.

Our client provides retirement services to those who serve or work for the church. Both a regulated pension fund and registered charity, more than 44,000 people rely on them for their pensions. The board also supports 2,500 retired clergy with housing, including managing a national portfolio of 1,200 rented homes and Community Living options.
Supported by a multi-million pound grant from the wider church, they are setting up a new function responsible for engaging with clergy at all stages of life and ministry on their current and future plans, offering access to grants to kick-start saving, bespoke advice at key life stages and tailored products that will provide people more choice about their future. As part of this new function, they are now recruiting for a proactive, empathetic Regional Adviser to deliver personalised support to clergy based across the South West region, helping them with day-to-day financial wellbeing matters, and retirement planning.
Working across Dioceses operating across the South West, you will proactively lead local engagement with clergy through structured, personalised one-to-one conversations, events and outreach, helping to connect individuals with expert advice, guidance, products and services that support their current and future financial plans. As a key point of contact for individuals and dioceses in your region, you’ll champion the needs and experiences of clergy, helping to build confidence about what the future might hold, and connecting people to the right information, products, specialists or local support. This is an exciting opportunity to join at the very beginning, shape how the service works, and make a real impact.
To apply for this role you will have demonstrable experience of delivering welfare, casework or financial wellbeing support in a client-facing capacity. You will be a warm, and empathetic communicator with proven experience of building, nurturing and maintaining relationships across multiple organisations and will comfortable adapting approach to meet the specific needs to clients. You will also have experience of planning and delivering local events, workshops or learning sessions. Overall, you will be an organised, proactive self-starter, comfortable working autonomously, managing a varied workload and prioritising fieldwork alongside virtual delivery.
