The Social and Digital Media Manager will sit within the marketing team and play a key role in our Engagement Strategy to put the people of London at the heart of our fundraising. This is a fantastic opportunity for a digital and social media expert to lead on our digital engagement as a key driver to this; engaging new and existing charity supporters, strengthening understanding of the service and amplifying brand awareness and fundraising campaigns.

About the role

The Social and Digital Media Manager will execute and evolve our social and digital media approach, managing a small team to create and promote compelling social media content and campaigns. Pivotal to this is harnessing and growing existing channels, identifying new opportunities and channels, monitoring trends in the wider digital media landscape. They will use audience insights and platform analytics to optimise performance and shape the creation and editing of compelling digital-first and platform-tailored assets.

This role will also support the Senior Digital Fundraising Manager and Head of Marketing with paid digital campaigns, supporting multi-channel campaigns across Meta, PPC and YouTube and wider channels, maximising ROI whilst working within a tight budget. This role will work across our marketing and digital function, as well as the wider communications and fundraising teams and the wider service, including our operational frontline staff, building key relationships to allow us to test and progress different propositions, products and fundraising initiatives.

About The Role

At Alzheimer’s Society, we believe no one should face dementia alone. Every conversation, every visit and every small moment of reassurance can make a real difference. We are looking for a warm, thoughtful and organised Dementia Adviser to join our supportive team in London Borough of Hillingdon working 35 hours per week.

You will work closely with people living with dementia and those who care about them, providing ongoing support. You will listen carefully, understand what matters most to each person and offer guidance that helps them feel steadier and more confident as their situation changes.

Your days will be varied and meaningful. You might be visiting someone at home, offering calm reassurance over the phone, or working closely with professionals to make sure the right support is in place. We operate a triage system for new referrals, and you will play your part in making sure people are responded to quickly and thoughtfully. You will manage your own caseload, keep clear and accurate records, while always seeing the person behind the paperwork.

You will be part of a caring and dynamic local team who share ideas, reflect together and support one another. There will be time to meet as a team and opportunities to keep growing your knowledge of dementia, with your manager and colleagues alongside you.

About you

You will have:

- An understanding of dementia, or a willingness to learn about the experiences of people living with dementia and those who care for them.
- Experience providing information, guidance, advice or emotional support - this could be from health, social care, community, voluntary, customer service or other people focused roles.
- You will be able to listen and communicate, with the ability to build trust and rapport with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
- The ability to manage your workload effectively, with appropriate support and tools, and to balance competing priorities.

Maudsley Charity is a grant-making charity rooted in south London, working to advance and accelerate positive change in mental health care. We fund and support clinical, academic and community partners so that everyone who experiences mental illness can access the care and support that's right for them.
We're now recruiting a Funding Manager to join our Living Well with Psychosis programme - a major, long-term investment supporting grassroots community organisations across South London.

This role sits within the Programmes Team and focuses on grant management, relationships, learning and impact. It is not a fundraising role.

About the role
Reporting to the Programme Lead - Living Well with Psychosis, you'll oversee a portfolio of 21 diverse community organisations providing support to people affected by psychosis, with a particular focus on racially minoritised communities.

You'll lead on relationship-based grant management, ensure excellent stewardship of funding, and work closely with an externally commissioned Learning and Support Partner to gather and share learning across the Charity and with external partners. You'll also support grant relationship management for some funding awarded to South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and King's College London.

This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys working closely with partners, understands the realities facing small community organisations, and is motivated by equity, lived experience and system-wide change.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of community grants, including due diligence, monitoring and relationships
• Managing the contract and relationship with the Learning and Support Partner
• Gathering and sharing learning and insight from funded organisations
• Supporting the Charity's approach to proportionate monitoring and impact
• Strengthening links between community organisations, clinical teams, academics and commissioners
• Working closely with Finance, Communications and Fundraising colleagues where programme insight supports wider organisational work

We're looking for someone who:

• Has strong grant, contract or partnership management experience
• Understands financial and governance challenges facing small VCSE organisations
• Is confident working collaboratively across teams and sectors
• Is motivated by improving outcomes for people affected by severe and enduring mental illness
• Brings a thoughtful, organised and relational approach to their work

About The Role

The Dementia Adviser role requires you to work passionately to provide advice, support and guidance to people affected by dementia, carers and their families.
 
Team Sahara at The Alzheimer’s Society are proud to have a small but passionate team with a welcoming and supportive culture.
This role will be supporting the South Asian community within the Greater Manchester area, so we are looking for someone who is fluent in one or more South Asian languages including Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and in particular Bangla or Gujarati as well as English. You will be working Wednesday, Thursday & Friday - 21 hours a week. 
 
We are a Dementia Support Service dedicated to serving the South Asian Community in Greater Manchester. 

You will:

- Offer a vital and compassionate service providing information, a referral and signpost service as well as emotional and practical support to people affected by dementia and their families.
- Managing referrals and case loads
- Supporting our Memory Cafés and other group activities
- Facilitating information and awareness raising events
- Delivering talks and presentations to public audiences.
- Build relationships with a range of local contacts, networking with health and care professionals, marketing Alzheimer’s Society services and providing dementia support. 
- Develop networks and pathways with partner organisations who work in the field of dementia, ensuring seamless and consistent support and empowering individuals affected by dementia to make informed choices.
- Provide support face-to-face, by telephone and online.

About you

We are hoping to welcome a passionate and knowledgeable Dementia Adviser to work in Greater Manchester as part of Team Sahara but also as part of the wider Greater Manchester team. This is an amazing opportunity to have a rewarding career providing support and guidance to people living with or affected by dementia.

You are:

- Someone who has working experience of assessing people face to face with an ability to assess their needs
- Deliver advice and guidance with a non-judgmental approach and have outstanding communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills to manage your caseload of clients effectively
- Good IT skills
- It is essential that you have the means to travel independently across Greater Manchester, with an expectancy to attend regular meetings across the area
- An understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with dementia and their carers would be an advantage
- Fluent in Urdu and English as well as Bangla or Gujarati and other South Asian languages.
- Confidence in public speaking and ability to deliver presentations in different languages if necessary.

You will also support the Northern Ireland team in its wider engagement with Tearfund supporters, playing your part in mobilising Christians across NI to respond in prayer and generosity.

About The Role

At Alzheimer’s Society, we believe no one should face dementia alone. Every conversation, every visit and every small moment of reassurance can make a real difference. We are looking for a warm, thoughtful and organised Dementia Adviser to join our supportive team in The Western Trust Area working 35 hours per week.

You will work closely with people living with dementia and those who care about them, providing ongoing support. You will listen carefully, understand what matters most to each person and offer guidance that helps them feel steadier and more confident as their situation changes.

Your days will be varied and meaningful. You might be visiting someone at home, offering calm reassurance over the phone, or working closely with GP surgeries and other professionals to make sure the right support is in place. We operate a triage system for new referrals and you will play your part in making sure people are responded to quickly and thoughtfully. This role pays particular attention in delivering our CrISP programmes which offers  informal training for carers. You will manage your own caseload, keeping clear and accurate records, while always seeing the person behind the paperwork.

You will be part of a caring and dynamic local team who share ideas, reflect together and support one another. There will be time to meet as a team and opportunities to keep growing your knowledge of dementia, with your manager and colleagues alongside you.

About you

You will have:

- An understanding of dementia, or a willingness to learn about the experiences of people living with dementia and those who care for them.
- Experience providing information, guidance, advice or emotional support - this could be from health, social care, community, voluntary, customer service or other people focused roles.
- You will be able to listen and communicate, with the ability to build trust and rapport with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
- The ability to manage your workload effectively, with appropriate support and tools, and to balance competing priorities.
- Confidence using IT systems to maintain accurate and confidential records.
- A compassionate, non-judgemental and person-centred approach, with respect for diversity and individual lived experiences.
- The confidence and ability to communicate with a wide range of people, adapting your approach to ensure understanding. You will be required to speak publicly at events about dementia, delivering information and signposting people to further resources and networks.

- Facilitate and deliver regular peer support groups across Western Trust of NI, with the expectation of being able to travel independently across the trust area, creating a safe, inclusive environment where people affected by dementia can share experiences, build connections, and access tailored information and guidance.
