About the role
This is an exciting time to join our successful fundraising team and support the generation of income for our life-saving work through charitable Trusts and Foundations.
Supporting the successful delivery of our strategy, you will be part of the team who has responsibility for maintaining our relationships with existing Trusts, conducting independent research into both new and existing relationships to identify strong prospects, assisting with the development of compelling cases for support across all our services and having responsibility for a group of Trusts under the guidance and support of your manager.
You might have experience of working in a Trust role and are looking to take that next step in your career, with the opportunity to independently manage a portfolio of Trusts and Foundations while supporting the team on new and innovative ways of raising income. We are also interested in hearing from applicants looking to get into Trust fundraising. A willingness to learn and work with initiative is essential and in return we will support you as you develop your Trust fundraising skills.
Ultimately, a successful candidate will have solid writing and research skills, and the ability to approach the challenges of Trust fundraising for this charity with curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm.

What you’ll be doing

About the Role
The Partnerships & Philanthropy Manager will lead all fundraising activity, including stakeholder partnerships and grant/trust income, overseeing a six figure annual income portfolio. About the Role
St Giles is seeking a highly skilled and committed Risk and Governance Manager to lead our governance, risk, and compliance functions. You’ll join a passionate team within the People, Risk and Safeguarding Directorate, providing expert guidance to senior leaders and the Board, and ensuring we maintain the highest standards of regulatory compliance and strategic assurance.
To be successful in this role:
You will have significant experience in governance, risk management, or compliance leadership roles with a strong understanding of charity governance, regulatory reporting, and risk frameworks. Being adept at managing multiple priorities under pressure, with high levels of accuracy and discretion is essential, as is excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential including being able to influence, inform, and partner with stakeholders at all levels.

We help young people and adults overcome structural barriers and self-limiting behaviours that are holding them back. Reporting to the CEO and as a member of the Executive Team, the post holder will be expected to drive and manage the central administrative and core infrastructure functions across DHI to ensure we operate safely, securely, efficiently, and effectively.
As well as being closely involved in the day-to-day activities of the functions for which you are responsible, you will provide high level proactive advice, and quality services for the other Directors across all central and client service areas, including, finance and procurement, human resources, information technology development, health and safety, premises, office services, in addition to working closely with our retained HR advisor.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in partnership with operational colleagues to supply clear, quality assured and compliant best practice processes from the centre, which are developed and implemented collaboratively with those delivering core services to DHI’s client base.
The ideal person will combine practical, hands-on delivery with strong leadership and relationship building skills and be able to operate successfully in a dynamic, regularly changing environment.

Role Purpose
As Reception and Office Administrator, you will play a key role in the team; providing a warm, efficient and professional reception service, and being the first point of contact for enquiries.
You will also provide administrative support to contribute to the smooth running and success of services. This will include supporting with the promotion of our services, processing new referrals, managing bookings and payments, and maintaining good record keeping.
Our Centre operates 9am–5pm on Mondays and Fridays, and 9am–8pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please note that some evening work is required for this role (with working hours 12-8pm in these instances).
Main Duties
- Provide a professional, confidential reception service, welcoming service users and volunteers and managing phone and email enquiries.
- Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, sharing accurate information and offering appropriate signposting.
- Deliver general administrative support to the team, including promoting the organisation’s services, processing referrals, arranging assessments, managing bookings and payments, and handling day‑to‑day reception tasks.
- Maintain monitoring systems and databases in line with the organisation’s processes.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve agreed objectives.
- Attend and contribute positively and constructively to meetings as required.
- Respond proactively to the needs of the role, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude.
- Support marketing activities when required, including designing posters, sending mail-outs, and creating simple social media and website content.
