Job Title: Support Mentor
Location: This role is based in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), the service is a short walk from Ladbroke Grove (Circle and Hammersmith) station. Unfortunately, this service does not have step free access.
Salary: £27,000
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday on a rota which can range between 09:00 - 17:00 or 13:00 - 21:00. You may be required to work outside these hours dependent on service and resident requirements including weekends and bank holidays.
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Mentor to join our team based in RBKC to support our residents who have multiple and complex needs which could include mental health, substance use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds. You will support in providing our residents with the support needed to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals in a person centred approach. You will work within a residential setting, creating a safe and comfortable space which our residents can call their homes during their time within the service.
Some Key Responsibilities Include:
- Create tailored support plans through one to one sessions, group sessions, and multi agency meetings
- Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to their needs
- Monitor residents’ wellbeing, carrying out regular welfare checks, and responding to any incidents or emergencies
- Encourage residents to take part in activities and events such as movie nights, cooking evenings, and games nights
- Work closely with the rest of the team to provide overall excellent service delivery, this may mean also supporting with their caseloads, and other tasks as necessary
About You
We're looking for someone who has a true passion to support those who have multiple and complex needs, with a drive to help support those who suffer with homelessness, mental health, and substance use. You will be able to build rapport and trusting relations in a professional setting, and able to build positive outcomes. You will have an adaptable and flexible approach to helping others, with an understanding that each individual has different levels and types of support needs.
- Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds and/or a good understanding of the sector, particularly around multiple and complex needs
- Ability to show empathy and compassion to our residents, and different challenges they face
- Ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs
- Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents

Empowering independence through trauma-informed solutions and dynamic partnerships that keep people out of prison, out of hospital and off the streets
Salford CVS is recruiting a Volunteering Development Worker (Women and Girls in Football) to lead our work in increasing the participation of women and girls in off-pitch volunteering roles across grassroots football in Salford. This new role has been created in alignment with The FA’s priorities to strengthen inclusive volunteer pathways and ensure club and league environments are welcoming, supportive and accessible for female volunteers.
The main purpose of the post is to increase the number of female volunteers in off-pitch roles across grassroots football in Salford by supporting clubs, leagues, sessional football providers and community groups to create, promote and sustain inclusive volunteer opportunities. The role will coordinate learning and development for volunteers, help organisations understand their volunteer needs, and strengthen their capacity to recruit, retain and recognise women and girls in volunteering.
You will use Salford CVS’s established volunteering expertise to support England Accredited clubs, leagues and sessional football providers to attract, recruit and retain more female volunteers. This includes addressing known barriers such as lack of visible role models, sex-based discrimination, childcare demands that fall disproportionately on women, limited flexibility and traditional recruitment practices that may favour men.
Working in connection with our Volunteer Centre and wider Active Communities teams, you will join a service that already supports hundreds of organisations to develop safe and high-quality volunteering opportunities, matches hundreds of residents to roles, and delivers a wide range of volunteering training and good-practice guidance. You will also work closely with local partners, including Salford Community Leisure, GM Moving, Manchester FA and VCSE partners to ensure a coordinated and impactful approach.
The role will involve building strong relationships with clubs and leagues, engaging women and girls through targeted outreach in multiple settings (for example, community events, education environments, VCSE spaces, etc.), supporting grassroots clubs to understand their volunteer needs and barriers, and developing sustainable volunteer plans that help address these. You will deliver both FA and Salford CVS-designed training, increasing access to high-quality learning and development across the grassroots football ecosystem.
You will also connect to our wider engagement in the physical activity agenda in Salford, particularly the Place Partnership, a programme helping to lower barriers to physical activity and get Salford residents moving more.
Hours: 18 hours per week (excluding breaks), to be worked over 3–4 days.
Contract: Until 30th June 2028, subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.

This position will suit someone passionate about widening access to volunteering, confident in engaging diverse communities, and skilled in helping organisations embed inclusive, flexible and sustainable volunteer practices. Action for Conservation is a UK grassroots charity using innovative approaches to inspire and empower young people from diverse backgrounds, between the ages of 12 and 24, to become the next generation of environmental leaders. In 2019, we launched our flagship Penpont Project on a 2,000-acre estate in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), Wales. The Penpont Project is the largest intergenerational nature restoration project of its kind in the world, aiming to demonstrate how youth leadership and ambition can advance nature’s recovery at a time of acute ecological crisis.
We are currently looking for a Community Tree Nursery Coordinator to join the Penpont Project and run our Community Tree Nursery, growing trees from native tree species, including trees of conservation and heritage value, through collaborative learning and community-building activities. The focus of the role is as much on intergenerational learning and community engagement as it is on the processes of tree rearing and producing trees for planting out across the landscape. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with good knowledge of tree planting, growth and care, and a passion for working with young people and communities. What you will do
- Look after the day-to-day running and maintenance of the Tree Nursery together with our partners.
- Grow native tree species to use as stock for tree planting at Penpont, with types and quantities of trees to be determined based on project needs and what we can hope to achieve through volunteer action and educational events.
- Engage young people and the local community around Penpont with the Tree Nursery through a variety of events and activities, supporting them to grow their skills, knowledge and confidence related to trees, and ensure there is a solid volunteer base to support the nursery’s operation.
- Be responsible for the general coordination of Tree Nursery events and manage all relevant administration and logistics.
- Support monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) activities as relevant to your role to understand the impact of our work and facilitate learnings.
What we are looking for
- Experience of working with young people, ideally aged 12-18 and community volunteers and proven ability to engage, motivate and support people from diverse backgrounds and age groups
- Good horticultural knowledge, from selecting seeds to growing and nurturing tree stock, including traditional growing techniques; knowledge related to woodlands and forest ecosystems is desirable
- Experience of organising and running events and activities from start to finish, including liaising with stakeholders, managing logistics, health and safety and safeguarding
- Proven ability to facilitate stimulating, interactive and inclusive youth/community group sessions, especially practical activities in an outdoor setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills and ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, partners, young people and other stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to prioritise effectively to meet deadlines
- A proactive and self-reliant approach to work, ability to work independently, problem-solve and take initiative to achieve results
- Good IT skills, including using Google Workspace applications (e.g. Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.) or similar
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the role as well as willingness to work outdoors in all seasons/weathers and to work outside of usual office hours
- Fluency in Welsh is desirable

Based in Amman, Jordan, this role plays a vital part in ensuring reliable, secure, and user-friendly technology services for colleagues across the Arab World and globally.
About the Role
As a Service Desk Engineer, you will provide end-to-end IT support across workplace technologies as part of a Global IT Service Desk. You will ensure timely incident resolution, excellent customer service, and continuous improvement of IT services.
A specialist focus of this role is Microsoft Business Applications, including Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, alongside collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online.
You will also provide technical support for events, hybrid meetings, and remote collaboration, ensuring seamless service delivery across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
Service Desk Support
- Deliver first and second-line IT support, resolving incidents and requests in line with agreed Service Level Agreements.

- Maintain high-quality documentation within the global IT service desk system.
User Support & Collaboration

- Communicate solutions clearly to non-technical users and contribute to the knowledge base of the organisation.

About You
You’re an experienced and proactive IT support professional with strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-first mindset, and experience supporting modern cloud-based platforms in a fast paced international environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven IT service desk experience:
- First and second-line support experience within a multi-site or international organisation, operating to service level agreements.
- Strong Microsoft ecosystem knowledge:
- Hands-on experience supporting Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and identity/access systems.

Providence Row has supported people facing homelessness in East London since 1860. Our Day Centre is often the first place people come when they need help. It is a space where people can eat, shower, speak to staff, and be welcomed with dignity.
As a Day Centre Assessment & Reconnection Worker, you will play a key role at that first point of contact. You will ensure people are welcomed calmly, understood quickly, and supported to access the right pathway. This is a role focused on assessment, decision-making, and connection rather than ongoing casework.
You will also support geographical reconnection where appropriate, including accompanying clients to local authorities across London, ensuring plans are realistic, safe, and grounded in dignity.

Join Dementia UK as Policy and Public Affairs Manager (Scotland) and play a pivotal role in shaping our influence as we deliver our 2025–30 strategy. This new role reflects a significant investment in expanding our Campaigns, Policy and Public Affairs function, strengthening our ability to drive change across all nations of the UK. You will lead our work to amplify Dementia UK’s voice in Scotland, ensuring that the experiences of people living with dementia, and the Admiral Nurses who support them, drive meaningful improvements in care and support.
You will spearhead our political and policy engagement in Scotland, building trusted relationships with MSPs, civil servants, political advisers and sector partners. Through sharp political insight and rigorous policy development, you will help shape our influencing priorities, identify strategic opportunities, and position Dementia UK as a credible and authoritative voice on dementia care within the Scottish policy landscape.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across policy, public affairs, campaigns, communications, clinical services and lived experience, you will develop and deliver a Scottish policy and public affairs strategy that aligns with our UK-wide approach. You will also represent Dementia UK externally as our primary political contact in Scotland, ensuring our perspectives are heard in key debates and decision‑making forums.
To thrive in this role, you will bring strong political instincts, deep knowledge of Scottish political institutions and policy processes, and a proven ability to build influential relationships with senior stakeholders. You will be a strategic thinker with the confidence to lead evidence-based policy development, assess risks and opportunities in a fast-moving environment, and drive forward activity that supports our long-term ambition to transform dementia care across the UK.
While this role is home-based, the postholder must be based in Scotland in order to regularly attend Holyrood and other stakeholder meetings.

The role
The Finance Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring Action Together remains financially robust, sustainable, and compliant as a charity and employer. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will partner closely with the CEO and Board to shape a resilient business model, strengthen financial governance, and provide strategic direction that supports our mission and values.
You will lead and develop a high performing finance function, oversee annual budgeting and long‑term financial planning, and ensure high‑quality financial insight is available to the CEO, SLT and Board. As a Dementia Navigator with Alzheimer’s Society, you will walk alongside people at one of the most vulnerable points in their lives. You will listen carefully. You will help them make sense of what is happening. You will support them to plan, adapt and stay connected to the things that matter most.
Working in close partnership with the NHS across Bristol, you will be part of a multi disciplinary team committed to helping people live well after diagnosis. This is not simply a signposting role. It is about building trusted relationships over time, understanding each person’s unique journey and ensuring they feel informed, confident and in control.
What the role involves
You will manage your own caseload of people newly diagnosed with dementia, alongside those who need ongoing support as their needs change. Through face to face reviews, telephone conversations and collaborative planning, you will provide structured post diagnostic support tailored to each individual.
You will develop personalised Wellbeing Plans that reflect a person’s history, strengths and future wishes. You will work closely with memory clinics, GPs and other health and social care professionals to ensure the right support is in place at the right time.
You will also:
- Facilitate peer support groups and education sessions for carers
- Build strong networks with community and voluntary organisations
- Identify safeguarding concerns and act confidently and appropriately
- Maintain accurate and confidential case records in line with service standards

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Frontline Support Services Lead to take day-to-day ownership of our specialist support service. This is a senior, hands-on role for a practitioner who is equally confident providing direct 1:1 support to high-risk clients and leading a small team of frontline Support Workers.
As our Founder and CEO steps back from operational delivery of frontline support, you will be the heartbeat of our frontline work — ensuring every person who reaches out to us receives safe, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed support.

Hours: 21 hours per week (7 hours per day, 3 days per week)

Location: Remote — London-based candidates only as some face-to-face meetings are required

What You'll Do
Direct Client Support
-
Provide trauma-informed 1:1 support via phone and email to LGBTQI+ individuals and parents from religious and culturally conservative backgrounds.

Hold complex, high-risk cases with confidence and care, including those involving suicide ideation, honour-based abuse, forced marriage, domestic abuse, and emergency relocation.

Maintain clear professional boundaries while delivering culturally sensitive, community-rooted support.
Team Leadership & Supervision

Line manage two existing freelance Support Workers and support the onboarding of a third.

Provide regular case supervision, complex case guidance, and decision-making support.

Champion staff wellbeing and safe working practices in emotionally demanding frontline work.
Safeguarding & Risk Management

Act as the senior safeguarding lead for all frontline services.

Lead on DASH risk assessments, safeguarding escalations, and referrals, including MARAC processes where required.

Ensure safeguarding procedures, escalation pathways, and professional boundaries are consistently upheld.
Support Group Facilitation

Co-host our monthly LGBTQI+ support group, alternating facilitation with the CEO (Wednesday evenings, once per month).
Case Management System Transition

Lead the operational migration from our legacy case recording system to a new case management platform, including data migration, process development, and staff training.
Who We're Looking For
You will need to demonstrate:

Significant frontline experience in suicide prevention, domestic abuse, honour-based abuse, or specialist crisis support.

Strong knowledge of safeguarding, DASH risk assessment, and escalation in high-risk contexts.

Experience managing or supervising frontline support staff in a specialist or statutory setting.

A trauma-informed, person-centred approach to support delivery.

The ability to build trust through shared cultural understanding while holding clear professional boundaries.

Experience working within small, values-led charities or specialist support services.
