About the Role

We are seeking a charity professional with evaluation and impact experience, and skills to develop Lewisham Local’s business functions such as service delivery impact with a focus on impact measurements of infrastructure work, premises, and admin.

This is a newly built role to support the charity’s new ambitious three-year strategy.

Main Objectives

• Develop and deliver the charity’s Impact and Evaluation framework
• Ensure charity’s CRM Salesforce is used at every level of capturing data

Support, develop and manage Lewisham Local’s business functions such as Admin and Premises management

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Impact Measurement

• Working closely with the SMT and project leads to understand the depth of the work carried out by Lewisham Local and develop an impact and evaluation framework to measure the success of our work.
• Train and support colleagues to ensure the framework is embedded into our daily work measuring the change created as a result of the work carried out by Lewisham Local.
• Run a quarterly impact report for SMT and Board
• Introduce data capture protocols and training on using the charity's CRM Salesforce to ensure data is recorded and up to date
• Act as a champion for this across the team

Manage Admin function

• Manage the two (job share - 0.8 & 0.2 FTE) Admin officers who support the CEO, Board and take on the general office admin tasks
• Develop and improve Lewisham Local’s admin processes

Manage premises – support and training will be offered

• Manage a Premises Coordinator (0.6FTE) in safe running the Orchard Gardens Community Centre
• Support the CEO in developing premises strategy and future proposals

Together with SMT and the CEO manage Lewisham local’s fundraising function, reviewing and contributing to the grant applications.

• Be a visible, active, positive and engaging presence within the community at local events, activities and meetings.
• Contribute and create regular communications content
• Champion the role of local giving, and the contribution of civil society in Lewisham
• Collect and process data, carry out monitoring and evaluation of our impact
• Help other team members at times of increased workload and/or specific events
• Contribute to office organisation and administration responsibilities to ensure the effective running of the organisation and staff presence at the office premises
• Manage volunteers to achieve the portfolio and charity’s aims and objectives
• Attend regular team meetings and supervision sessions as required
• Undertake training and development as required
• Contribute to writing grant applications for future projects and core work

Our holiday and weekend activities give parents and carers a break while providing participants a safe, welcoming space to have fun and receive the care they need. Our coordinators plan, arrange and deliver a programme of activities shaped around the needs of the young people, making the most of local opportunities, from heritage sites and outdoor adventures, to sports, arts and crafts, cooking, and team challenges. These sessions help children build friendships, grow in confidence, and express themselves in a fun, supportive space.

1 x CYP Coordinator- Short Breaks Family Days- 30 hours- Kent wide

Family days bring families together to create special memories and enjoy time with others who share similar experiences. The coordinator develops and facilitates activity days which involve the whole family and provide opportunities to build friendships and connections with others. Activities take place at outdoor centres, local heritage sites and museums, as well as organised beach days and community centre-based workshops and activities.

Applicants should have relevant experience of working or volunteering with children and young people in education, health or social care, and have exceptional organisation and communication skills. 

The roles are 30 hours per week, working Wednesday to Saturday. In school holiday periods, more activities take place on weekdays (instead of Saturdays), so flexibility is needed.

It’s essential that applicants have their own car and are willing to drive a minibus (full training provided).

Working closely with schools and Childrens Services, you will make referrals to a range of professionals and community services, ensuring whole family needs are met and thereby reducing the impact of caring on the Young Carer.

As a CYP Coordinator, you will plan and deliver respite activities, providing opportunities for Young Carers to spend time with their peers and recognise that they are not alone.

About the role

The Classes and Events Co-ordinator will be responsible for the effective operational management, development and promotion of the Centre’s classes, courses and related events.

You will work with NFPB trustees and members to support Quakers in the North of Britain in their peace work, which covers a wide range of issues. This role is critical in ensuring Dot Dot Dot’s property offer meets market demand, business needs, and our social mission.

You will manage key parts of the property product lifecycle - from defining value propositions and preparing properties for launch, through to marketing, viewings, and quality control. Working closely with Marketing and Services teams, you’ll help ensure our properties are well‑positioned, well‑presented, and successfully filled.

This is a varied, hands‑on role combining strategic thinking with operational delivery, and desk‑based work with regular visits to properties. You’ll be supported in role by our senior marketing coordinator and head of marketing and business development.

The fundamentals of the role

Marketing and sales enablement

• Develop property messaging, value propositions, and supporting materials.
• Ensure each property has strong visual assets, including photography, video, and written content.
• Create and maintain property information sheets for internal and external use.
• Coordinate property‑related communications, including Mailchimp viewing emails and location‑based social media content.

Viewings organisation and coordination

• Plan, schedule, and continuously improve the property viewings process.

Job Purpose

The Head of Community Support and Operations is a pivotal new role being introduced to the executive team at Barnsley CVS.  This person will be a key role in the growth and development of the executive team.  You will play an exciting part in the delivery and development of the recently developed 4-year strategy and theory of change. Your role will drive intention and focus on developing our support to the sector in a meaningful way to high standards, whilst ensuring our own internal operations reflect best practice.  You will need a strong knowledge of charity set up, management and governance along with a passion for what the VCSE sector does.  You will be confident in people management and development; have the ability to work inclusively with a wide range of people and backgrounds and the skill to see gaps and opportunities for service development.

You will work closely with the Head of Strategic Partnerships to identify gaps and opportunities to develop our offer of support to the sector whether through direct services, training, brokerage agreements or membership offers.  As you identify these opportunities, you will work collaboratively with the Head of Business Development to explore commercial income options that are also in line with our mission and vision.

Using your excellent people skills, you will act as the first point of contact for HR matters within the charity, overseeing the general management of our online HR system, policies and procedures.  You will work in collaboration with the CEO in any areas that need significant development or management.

You will keep up to date with new initiatives and ideas in the wider infrastructure sector, relevant legislation and modern thinking in relation to charity management best practice.

About Rockinghorse Children’s Charity

Rockinghorse Children’s Charity supports sick and disabled children across Sussex. We support babies, children, and young people, along with their families, at The Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and The Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton and all the specialist children’s wards and baby units throughout Sussex. 

We deliver and fund projects that enable doctors and nurses to do more. All of projects are led by the needs of children and young people and their families – the lifesaving medical equipment, the support for parents and families, the toys for children spending time in hospitals across Sussex, the environments and spaces that help children feel more at home when they are in hospital and additional staff to make sure children get the best possible care when they are unwell. 

Originally set up in 1967 by Dr Trevor Mann, we have been supporting children for more than 55 years, and in that time, we have supported nearly a million children and their families. As the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, including the Trevor Mann Baby Unit, we work with the NHS, charity partners, and the Sussex community to ensure children can be children no matter now sick they are.

About the role

Rockinghorse delivers more than 70 impactful projects each year to support sick and disabled babies, children, and young people across Sussex. As our programmes grow, we are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to support the day‑to‑day delivery of our projects and services.

Reporting to the Senior Projects Manager, this role will play a vital part in ensuring our projects run smoothly on time and on budget. You will work closely with NHS Champions (doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals), internal colleagues and external partners to help coordinate activities, gather information, maintain accurate records, and support the successful delivery of all our projects.

This is a hands‑on, operational role, offering an opportunity to develop project management skills within a friendly and impactful children’s charity. You’ll play an important part in ensuring our projects make a meaningful difference to children and families across Sussex.

The location of this position is a mixture of office and site visits within Sussex.

Duties of the role 

Delivering incredible projects that save and improve lives.

Rockinghorse delivers and funds around 70 projects per year – supporting sick and disabled children in hospital.

Project Delivery & Day‑to‑Day Coordination

· Support the administration, coordination, and delivery of Rockinghorse projects across Sussex.

· Maintain project schedules, trackers, documentation, and communication logs.

· Organise meetings, site visits, check‑ins, project reviews, and installations.

· Coordinate logistics for small projects, including ordering items, liaising with suppliers, and arranging deliveries.

· Ensure accurate filing and record‑keeping across all project documentation.

· Prepare project reports for internal use.

· Support the Senior Projects Manager on the scoping out, development and implementation of new areas of work and projects for the charity.

· Maintain records on the projects database ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.

· Co-ordinate seasonal projects (e.g. Easter, Christmas) including collections and deliveries with supporters and beneficiaries.

Working with NHS Staff & Project Champions

· Support NHS staff and Rockinghorse Champions and NHS staff  to develop and submit project proposals.

· Be a point of contact for day‑to‑day project enquiries.

· Organise and deliver our biannual Projects Days, including scheduling, logistics, communication and follow‑up.

· Build positive working relationships with doctors, nurses, and healthcare teams to support smooth project development and delivery.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact

· Collect data, feedback, photos, and evaluation information for all projects.

· Support the Senior Projects Manager with implementing the charity’s impact and evaluation frameworks.

· Help prepare impact summaries for fundraising, communications, and reporting purposes.

· Maintain accurate monitoring records for project KPIs and outputs.

Internal Communication & Cross‑Team Support

· Provide regular updates to colleagues across Fundraising, Communications and Operations.

· Assist in preparing content and information for marketing and donor stewardship.

· Coordinate seasonal projects (e.g. Easter, Christmas) including packing, delivery, and volunteer support.

Operational & Administrative Support

· Assist with central office admin tasks related to project delivery.

· Support the organisation of project‑related events.

· Help maintain project files, compliance records, and data protection requirements.

· Assist with volunteer coordination for project‑related activities where required.

Person specification 

Essential experience, skills, and knowledge for the role: 

1. Experience supporting the coordination or administration of projects, programmes, or multi‑stakeholder activities.
2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence working with a range of stakeholders.
4. Ability to work proactively, use initiative and solve problems as they arise.
5. Good attention to detail and strong record‑keeping skills.
6. Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn new systems.
7. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
8. A commitment to the mission and values of Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.
9. Knowledge of safeguarding and safe working practices.

Desirable experience, skills, and knowledge: 

1. Experience working in a charity, NHS, or healthcare environment, with a knowledge of paediatrics, neonates, youth work or other healthcare services working with children and young people.
2. Understanding of project evaluation, monitoring, or impact measurement.
3. Experience supporting finance, HR, operations, or volunteer functions.
4. Familiarity with compliance and data protection (GDPR) requirements.
5. Experience with project management or CRM systems (Rockinghorse uses e-tapestry).

We are recruiting a Van Peer Coordinator to support our Hepatitis C peer project in the Oxford & Thames Valley area. This role involves driving a van across the region and working with people affected by substance use and hepatitis C. 

Peers use their lived experience to raise awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and help people access testing and treatment. 

About you 
You will: 

• Be confident driving a van and travelling long distances 

• Have experience working with people affected by substance misuse 

• Have lived experience of hepatitis C, or experience supporting someone who has 

• Be reliable, compassionate, and well organised 

• Have good communication skills 

• Hold a clean driving licence (essential) 

What you’ll do 

• Recruit and support volunteer peers 

• Work with NHS hepatitis C teams, drug and alcohol services, and homelessness services 

• Coordinate education sessions and community-based hepatitis C testing 

• Support people into hepatitis C treatment and ongoing care 

This role requires regular travel across Oxford & Thames Valley.
