Salford CVS is recruiting a Volunteering Development Worker (Women and Girls in Football) to lead our work in increasing the participation of women and girls in off-pitch volunteering roles across grassroots football in Salford. This new role has been created in alignment with The FA’s priorities to strengthen inclusive volunteer pathways and ensure club and league environments are welcoming, supportive and accessible for female volunteers.

The main purpose of the post is to increase the number of female volunteers in off-pitch roles across grassroots football in Salford by supporting clubs, leagues, sessional football providers and community groups to create, promote and sustain inclusive volunteer opportunities. The role will coordinate learning and development for volunteers, help organisations understand their volunteer needs, and strengthen their capacity to recruit, retain and recognise women and girls in volunteering.

You will use Salford CVS’s established volunteering expertise to support England Accredited clubs, leagues and sessional football providers to attract, recruit and retain more female volunteers. This includes addressing known barriers such as lack of visible role models, sex-based discrimination, childcare demands that fall disproportionately on women, limited flexibility and traditional recruitment practices that may favour men.

Working in connection with our Volunteer Centre and wider Active Communities teams, you will join a service that already supports hundreds of organisations to develop safe and high-quality volunteering opportunities, matches hundreds of residents to roles, and delivers a wide range of volunteering training and good-practice guidance. You will also work closely with local partners, including Salford Community Leisure, GM Moving, Manchester FA and VCSE partners to ensure a coordinated and impactful approach.

The role will involve building strong relationships with clubs and leagues, engaging women and girls through targeted outreach in multiple settings (for example, community events, education environments, VCSE spaces, etc.), supporting grassroots clubs to understand their volunteer needs and barriers, and developing sustainable volunteer plans that help address these. You will deliver both FA and Salford CVS-designed training, increasing access to high-quality learning and development across the grassroots football ecosystem.

You will also connect to our wider engagement in the physical activity agenda in Salford, particularly the Place Partnership, a programme helping to lower barriers to physical activity and get Salford residents moving more.

Hours: 18 hours per week (excluding breaks), to be worked over 3–4 days.

Contract: Until 30th June 2028, subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.

The Programmes You’ll Lead

Music Producer Club (MPC) – digital music-making for young people aged 12–18, delivered in schools, youth centres and online. Taught by ‘producer educators’ - working music producers we train to educate the next generation -, MPC builds creativity, skills and confidence while connecting participants with electronic music culture and the national curriculum.

Process – a development programme for women, non-binary and trans+ music makers. Structured across three strands for different abilities (Create, Define, Release), Process combines workshops, mentoring and masterclasses to build skills, confidence and community for underrepresented producers.

Out The Box (OTB) – hands-on analogue mixing workshops in leading London studios, giving emerging producers practical experience with desks, outboard gear and professional engineers while bridging digital and analogue production techniques.

Programme Management

• Lead planning, scheduling and delivery of MPC, Process and Out The Box programmes and events.

Quality Monitoring & Evaluation

• Collect and analyse participant data, case studies and feedback, and drive solutions in response to pain points.

• Support continuous improvement by feeding programme insights into CDR’s evolving evaluation framework, learning outputs, and communications strategy.

• Ensure safeguarding, risk assessments and health and safety are adhered to across all programmes. Implementing training, good practice and further planning where necessary.

Jangala is seeking an ambitious and strategic Fundraising Manager to sustain and grow our income from trusts, foundations and corporate partners. This is a hands-on role for an experienced fundraiser who enjoys translating complex work into compelling funding propositions and building strong relationships with supporters. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring exceptional care for both pets and clients while making well-connected, efficient decisions that prioritise pet welfare. As the leader of our home-based pet operations, you’ll oversee the smooth running of daily activities, acting as the subject matter expert in practical animal handling and assessment. Your goal will be to prepare pets for adoption as quickly and effectively as possible. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure timely pet assessments, behaviour management, and training, while providing full support to foster carers.

You’ll also be responsible for achieving pet-related targets, ensuring your team of Pet Welfare Assistants and Foster Coordinator's maintains the highest standards of animal care and adheres to national processes in case management. Since we don’t have cattery or kennel facilities, innovation and teamwork are essential to address the most urgent cases effectively.

The Role

The Volunteer Recruitment Officer will lead structured volunteer growth and engagement across REMAP’s national branch network. Working proactively with Branch Chairs and the operations team, the postholder will focus on targeted recruitment, improved conversion of volunteer applications, and more consistent onboarding practices across the network. Routine administrative onboarding processes sit within the wider team. This role is focused on delivering measurable growth in active volunteer capacity and engagement.

Job Purpose: 

This is a key role within a small but global team collaborating with a range of experts and specialists with in-depth knowledge of both the global Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting Movement and the international development sector. Working across a mix of corporate, global trusts/foundations, and institutional funders, your primary focus will be securing new funding partnerships as well as delivering excellent partnership stewardship and management.

The role is responsible for making a recognisable contribution towards organisational income targets with a specific focus on funders from the Asia region who have the potential to support the work that WAGGGS does on a global level.

There will be a strong focus on securing restricted income in support of a portfolio of global non-formal education programmes across key thematic areas including climate, STEM, online safety, leadership, gender-based violence prevention, and menstrual health & hygiene – all with cross-cutting themes of gender equality and advocacy, and all delivered around the world.  There may also be time spent on seeking and securing funding to support wider organisational projects as necessary, as well as exploring opportunities to secure unrestricted / flexible core funding.

About You:

As our Strategic Partnerships Manager, Asia you will work across a mix of corporate, global trusts & foundations, and institutional funders from across the Asia region, your focus will be on securing new funding partnerships as well as delivering excellent stewardship and management of existing partnerships. You’ll need to build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and be comfortable working in a complex and global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis focusing on the Asia region to identify high value partnership opportunities with corporates, corporate foundations, global trusts & foundations, and institutional donors to build and nurture strategic funder relationships that are aligned to the WAGGGS vision, purpose, and programme offer.
• Build and maintain a robust and qualified pipeline of potential funding partners and opportunities from the Asia region and ensure proactive cultivation through outreach, networking, and targeted communication. 
• Work cross-departmentally to develop and write high-quality and compelling funding proposals and partnership opportunities with a strong case for support, ensuring they are deliverable, measurable, accurately costed, and aligned to WAGGGS strategic priorities.
• Deliver effective stewardship and management of new partnerships (and potentially some existing partnerships). From contracting, partnership reporting, growth and renewal. Build and expand strong relationships with partner contacts at multiple levels, drawing on key WAGGGS senior staff to support when appropriate, and use WAGGGS communications platforms effectively to raise the profile of partnerships. You will play a key role in supporting and coordinating colleagues across international teams on the deliverables linked to each partnership, fostering collaboration and shared donor stewardship.

We’re looking for a dynamic, field‑based Change Coach to play a key role in our frontline improvement programme, partnering with pet hospitals across the West and East Midlands. As the vital link between central project teams and hospital colleagues, you will work closely with leaders, vets, nurses and support teams to plan and embed practical changes. You will provide hands‑on support before, during and after go‑live, using real‑time coaching, observation and adoption data to:

• Reinforce new processes, tools and behaviours

• Coach leaders and key influencers to build local capability

• Identify and mitigate risks to long‑term sustainability

• Capture insights and lessons learned to strengthen future rollouts

• Act of as voice for the hospital teams, providing feedback and insights. 

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring proven experience in change delivery, operational coaching or transformation, ideally within multi‑site or frontline environments. You’ll have a strong, practical understanding of change management principles and how to apply them in busy, people‑focused settings.

This role suits someone who is energised by being out in the field, confident travelling regularly across sites and skilled at building trust, influencing others and communicating clearly at all levels.

The Relationship Giving Manager plays a leading and hands on role in designing and implementing the supporter acquisition, retention and development plans. Focusing on growing reach, engagement and ultimately income across Individual Giving, Legacy and In Memory activity.

The postholder will manage, coordinate and deliver a variety of donor acquisition, conversion and retention campaigns and communications that make up the donor acquisition and supporter development programmes to deadline and within budget across various mediums including print, digital, face-to-face and direct marketing etc.

• Track the performance of campaigns and monitor performance metrics, including campaign results against agreed KPIs

• Ensure continuous testing, collate learnings and make recommendations to guide future activity

• Ensure effective maintenance and retention of active, lapsing and lapsed supporters

• Work with the wider fundraising team to design and implement supporter journeys for all individual donors and supporters including legacy prospects and pledgers

• Contribute to the development of the legacy marketing plan, implementing annual and ongoing initiatives to build a sustainable legacy pipeline

• Identify new channels and audiences to promote activities and products amongst existing donors/contacts and new prospective donors

• Develop strong relationships with external third parties promote the charity as a local beneficiary

About the role

This Debt Advice Case Manager role combines both technical and pastoral elements. It will involve building a client case, untangling sometimes complex situations, liaising with creditors, providing guidance for volunteers, and discerning and communicating the appropriate choices and strategies for the client. You will also need to lead client appointments and support clients through what at times can be emotionally difficult situations. Ideally, we are looking for someone with prior debt advice experience, and who has experience of working with vulnerable clients and supporting volunteers. However, we will also consider employing someone as a trainee Debt Advice Case Manager if they are able to demonstrate that they possess the skills, maturity, and determination to become proficient in this role.

• 3-5 days per week
• Two roles available, one in the Hammersmith area, and one in the Kensington area
• Being available onsite is an important aspect of this role and so this role is hybrid with around 60% of your time in one of our branches and 40% remote.
