The Philanthropy Lead is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in growing high-value support for an amazing children's health charity, helping to secure sustainable income that enables the charity to continue delivering vital care for children and families. Working closely with senior leaders, trustees and influential supporters, you will develop and manage a pipeline of high-net-worth individuals, build meaningful long-term relationships, create compelling fundraising proposals and deliver exceptional donor stewardship.

This is an exciting role for a confident relationship fundraiser who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on fundraising. You'll have the opportunity to secure significant gifts, shape philanthropy activity, collaborate across fundraising teams and develop new opportunities to grow income from wealthy individuals across the region.

To be successful as the Philanthropy Lead you will need:

  • Significant experience in major donor or philanthropy fundraising, with a strong track record of securing high-value gifts
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, donors, trustees and volunteers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create persuasive fundraising proposals and impactful donor communications
