Reporting to the CEO and joining our Senior Leadership Team, you will lead the development of a progressive income generation strategy that expands new partnerships, income streams and opportunities for growth — ensuring we can continue delivering life-changing support to autistic people across London and the West Midlands.

SALARY: £50,000 - £56,000 depending on experience

The Role

You will design and deliver a new income generation strategy that unlocks growth across:

· Corporate partnerships

· Major donors and philanthropy

· Community, individual and digital giving

· Earned and paid‑for services

· Grants, trusts and public sector funding (as part of a balanced mix)

· Recurring /regular donations from committed individuals

You will take an “intrapreneurial” approach — spotting opportunity, building new propositions, testing ideas and learning quickly — while embedding a culture where income generation is seen as a shared organisational priority, not the responsibility of one team.

Essential Experience & Track Record

• A demonstrable track record of generating income and/or building sustainable revenue streams, across more than one income source.
• Evidence of developing and delivering an income or growth strategy, particularly in contexts requiring diversification or change.
• Experience of driving new opportunities — such as partnerships, products, services or supporter propositions — rather than only maintaining existing income.
• Proven success in building and stewarding senior relationships, including corporates, funders, donors, commissioners or strategic partners.
• Experience working at a senior level within an organisation, with exposure to executive decision‑making and governance (e.g. Board or Trustee engagement).

· Understanding of and commitment to adhering to fundraising policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g. Fundraising Regulator Code of Practice, GDPR).

· Experience in minor/major donor fundraising and/or corporate partnerships.

· Familiarity with the autism or disability sector.

This is a community-based role involving regular travel across the Cardiff or Vale of Glamorgan area including local meetings and direct support with the flexibility to work from home based on business and community needs.

What we are looking for:

We would like to welcome an approachable and knowledgeable Community Support Worker to work with people affected by early onset dementia. This is an amazingly rewarding and varied opportunity to provide 1-2-1 support to individuals, so they are able to build confidence and engage in activities they enjoy. This could be as simple as going for a coffee or visiting a local area of interest, to supporting them to successfully navigate public transport to access medical appointments or their preferred and loved activities (and maybe find some new experiences along the way!).

We promote a person-centred service so that our support is unique to each individual, based upon their own aspirations and needs. We provide information and support in people’s homes and at locations across the local area.

What you would need:

- An understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with dementia and their carers.
- Resilience to be able to listen and empathise with individuals during, what can be, and incredibly difficult period of adjustment and personal challenge.
- Strong communication and listening skills to deliver personalised support with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to manage the support of individuals effectively.
- Great relationship building skills to make trusted and beneficial connections within the organisation and external networks.
- Ability to provide information and support in people’s homes and at locations across the local area.
- Experience of working in a care or community environment.
- Good IT skills to update computerised medical reports.
- Be able to travel independently across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

Important Information:

There is no ‘direct care’ element to the Community Support Worker role.
The role is based within the community across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, and you will be required to travel across this area (this a prerequisite for the successful candidate).

The National Lottery Community Fund – Climate Action Fund Decision Panel Appointments

Climate Action Fund- Food Systems - Expert Panel Member Role Specification

Term of Appointment: Three Years

The National Lottery Community Fund (The Fund) wishes to recruit an external member for the Climate Action Fund Decision Panel. The Chair of the UK Funding Committee (UKFC) accordingly invites applications for the position of external member of The National Lottery Community Fund’s Climate Action Fund Decision Panel.

Background

The Fund is the largest funder of community activity in the UK. It launched the Climate Action Fund in 2019 as a long-term commitment to support communities across the UK to act on climate change and involve more people in positive environmental action. Since its launch the Climate Action Fund has awarded over £182m to communities across the UK. This includes over 175 larger projects, predominantly delivered through partnership approaches and over 440 small grants that were delivered through Together for Our Planet, a funding programme in support of COP26. The programme has always had a test and learn ethos and each strand of funding has built on learning to date.

In January 2026 the Climate Action Fund launched a new strand of funding - Food Systems, focusing on strengthening food systems across the UK, while reducing food insecurity for people and communities, without harming the planet. It will achieve this through supporting partnerships that can deliver long term solutions and transformational systems change. Funding will enable large and long term interventions with the capacity and time to deliver progress against their intended aims and ambitions. We will support agroecological approaches which work with nature to create resilient, sustainable and equitable food systems. Projects can apply for a minimum of £2.5 million over three years, and we expect to fund up to ten projects in the first year. More information about funding aims and criteria can be found in Annex A (attached).

Through the Climate Action Fund we support projects based in all four countries of the UK and a combination of place based, cross country, regional, national and UK wide.

Role Specification

The Climate Action Fund is seeking a subject matter expert in food systems, who will complement our existing panel and support our work across the UK. They will have an understanding of the holistic aims we seek to address in supporting long term solutions that will have benefits for both climate, environment and nature, and to people and communities.

The Climate Action Fund Decision Panel has delegated authority from the UK Funding Committee (UKFC) to make funding decisions on Climate Action Fund Programmes.

The purpose of the Climate Action Fund Decision Panel is to make funding decisions, review the performance of the Climate Action Fund portfolio, and make recommendations where appropriate to UKFC. Funding decisions shall be taken in the context of the UKFC Delegation and shall undertake its duties within the framework of overall National Lottery Community Fund policy and procedures.

 Person Specification

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the food system across the UK, with a particular focus on agroecology and long term, systemic ways to strengthen our food system and reduce food insecurity for people and communities.
• The ability and skill to contribute effectively to the development of this strand of funding and wider work of The Fund in relation to food systems, with a strong track record of achievement in this area. 
• Ability to work on a Panel with excellent interpersonal, team working, communication and representational skills.
• The ability to engage and influence in relationships with stakeholders to ensure the Fund is well represented and externally impactful.
• Personal and operational integrity, the ability to work with people from different backgrounds, and a commitment to improving equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Clear understanding and commitment to building strong and connected communities, that reflect the whole of the UK.
• Ability to deliver operational transformation and culture improvement in a large organisation.

We are looking for two Consultants to join our Faith & Society team. These roles will support the delivery of projects focused on public affairs, faith engagement and social change. You will work with partners across politics, civil society, business and faith communities, and will contribute to research, stakeholder engagement, project coordination and client delivery. Location: The role is based primarily remotely, but you must be willing and able to work regularly (one day per week minimum) from our London office, which is near to Parliament. Responsibilities

The Consultants’ main responsibilities will be to support and own parts of GFP projects by:

• Supporting projects with a public affairs component to provide accurate, incisive and impactful data and analysis

• Producing weekly reports on relevant parliamentary and government business for particular clients and projects

• Maintaining accurate, user-friendly and up-to-date databases to support public affairs work across projects

• Assisting in drafting parliamentary materials, including briefings, oral and written questions, and correspondence with stakeholders

• Supporting senior colleagues in their client and stakeholder management as necessary, including with administrative tasks such as meeting preparation and minute-taking

• Supporting colleagues to organise events on the Parliamentary estate, including room bookings and catering 

• Responding to the needs of the team to support wider project delivery

• Owning and project managing parts of a project and ensuring successful delivery, working autonomously to complete project work where required.

• As appropriate build and manage relationships with clients (usually at delivery level)

About the role

As a Victim Care Coordinator, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to the Victims preferences i.e. home visits or via conference calls, to explain our services, and assess the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.

As a Victim Care Coordinator you will:

• Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
• Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
• Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
• Keep accurate & confidential case records.

About You

You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.
