We have a maternity cover opportunity available in the team at MASH. As an Outreach & Engagement Worker you will provide gender and trauma-informed support to women who are rough sleeping, begging and/or sex working in Manchester.

MASH is the only organisation in Greater Manchester which exists specifically to support women who sex work. Through our range of services we build trusted relationships with women to keep them safer, healthier and more equipped to take control of their lives.

Purpose of the role

To work with other members of the MASH team to achieve the following outcomes:

• Women who sex work are heard, understood and experience less stigma
• Other agencies and policymakers understand the needs of women who sex work and are more effective at supporting them

Using a gender and trauma-informed approach, the Outreach & Engagement Worker will deliver 2-4 daytime outreach sessions per week in Manchester alongside partners, colleagues and volunteers. They will also attend the Street Engagement Hub weekly to provide specialist support to women attending this multi-agency hub. They will provide brief interventions and casework support to women supporting their needs holistically.

Both roles are responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery of campaigns and work on key projects across the team.
 

Salary 
 

The salary for this position is £34,563 per annum and we operate a hybrid working model of a minimum of 2 days per week in the London office.

About the team 
The Committed Giving Team is a high achieving, fast-paced team responsible for the acquisition and retention of committed/regular donors. The team work across 3 key areas; Acquisition, Direct Dialogue Acquisition (Face to Face channels), and Retention (Stewardship).  

The Acquisition team is responsible for the recruitment of new regular givers and lottery players, through digital, DRTV, and other offline channels. 

The retention team is responsible for the ongoing stewardship and engagement of over 300,000 donors, ensuring that supporters are inspired to give for many years. 
 

The team work closely together with the shared aim of delivering exceptional supporter experience and raising the reliable income the hospital needs to help provide extraordinary care for seriously ill children and their families. 

DBS - note a basic DBS check is required for this role.

The Senior Legal Counsel is the first port of call for colleagues putting together and advising on new legal arrangements and documenting our leading health partnerships and fundraising activities. The Senior Legal Counsel works with the Foundation’s Legal team in providing legal advice and guidance for the Foundation’s innovative, impact-led programmes and activities, supporting our fundraising team alongside our fundraising compliance manager, and our work with Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. This role also assists with varied internal governance and compliance matters. 

Key Responsibilities 

Charitable Partnerships (Impact on Urban Health) 

• Identify relevant legal and compliance considerations on projects and activities within the IoUH team and work with IoUH to put in place appropriate mechanisms or policies to manage issues that are identified. 
• Structure and assist colleagues with drafting and negotiating agreements for a wide variety of charitable partnerships, including commercial contracts, grants, IP licences, novel investment models, revenue-sharing arrangements and data agreements. 
• Act as a thought partner with the team to advise on the structuring, legal risks and strategic implications of partnerships and future opportunities. 
• Maintain and appropriately file correspondence and documentation relating to commercial contracts. 

Fundraising (Charities)

• Identify and advise on relevant legal and regulatory considerations in respect of our fundraising activities and work with our fundraising compliance manager and the fundraising team to ensure our fundraising activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations.
• Drafting and supporting colleagues in negotiating a variety of fundraising agreements, including charity of the year agreements, commercial participation agreements, sponsorship agreements and pledge agreements.
• Advise on relevant governance matters relating to fundraising activities.
• Work closely with our fundraising compliance manager to ensure data protection aspects of our fundraising activities are managed appropriately. 

Procedure and Policy Efficiencies

• Draft, maintain and update our internal guidelines, policies and standard-form documents. 
• Create policy and process efficiencies. 
• Act as deputy data protection lead, supporting the primary data protection lead through providing training to colleagues and ensuring the Foundation’s mandated practice is understood and followed. 

Tailored Partnerships 

• Consider legal considerations, and appropriate processes, for working with certain partners (e.g. regulatory, private gain, data protection, policy), including advising on due diligence procedures and tailoring our standard form templates. 
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders on longer-term projects to change our partnership models to cede power to the communities we work with, whilst balancing this against our charity law obligations. 

Cross-Functional Work 

• Work with cross-functional stakeholders, including Policy, Influencing & Communications, Data, Evaluation & Learning and the Executive Team to advise on cross-team collaboration, opportunities, issues and risks relating to our charitable partnerships. 
• Assist teams such as Endowment, Systems, and People & Culture on their legal needs, including drafting, negotiating and agreeing documents and being the first port-of-call for a variety of legal issues. 
• Lead on specific projects for either individual directorates or cross-directorate projects. 
• Act as business partner to the Fundraising teams on a variety of issues, including advising and supporting them with drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of fundraising agreements. 
• Act as business partner to the Endowment team, ensuring they have the legal support required for the smooth running of their activities. 

Governance and Legal 

• Act as Company Secretary for the Foundation’s three subsidiary companies. 
• Work with the Foundation’s Legal Director & Company Secretary in advising colleagues on legal and governance matters.  
• Undertake research into specific legal issues or matters of best practice and provide training to Legal team colleagues on these issues. 
• Identify need for, organise and run training sessions on key legal and compliance issues to Foundation staff. 
• Deputise for the Legal Director & Company Secretary when required.

Abianda is a London-based charity that works with young women and girls affected by criminal exploitation and violence, and the professionals who support them. We are seeking experienced, reflective and values-driven freelance trainers to support the delivery of high-quality training for professionals working with young women and girls affected by criminal exploitation and violence. The role will involve facilitating sessions in person and online and may require overnight travel and stays.

Report to: Head of Food Distribution and Volunteering

Responsible for: Leading the food distribution service and quality assurance at Hackney Foodbank’s allocated Food Distribution Centres located across the borough of Hackney. This includes ensuring all our visitors have a positive experience when collecting their food parcels and are signposted to other provisions appropriately; being responsible for directing the volunteers; Overseeing Health and Safety, and promoting best practice at each centre. This role will also involve administrative tasks, organising and carrying out home deliveries for visitors, inputting data on visitors’ journeys accurately into a database, driving the Hackney Giving Van or a Luton van to the various Distribution Centres.

Part-time: 25 hours per week, some evening work is required

· Attend Hackney Foodbank’s Food Distribution Centres to ensure each Centre is run in accordance with HFB’s best practice procedures.

• Job Title: Services Co-ordinator

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As Services Coordinator, you will take the lead on three of Headway UK’s vital services. You will be responsible for processing applications to our Emergency Fund, which provides travel and accommodation grants to family members, to support them to be at the bedside of loved ones, when their family member is in hospital, after acquiring a brain injury. Your role will include making recommendations for funding, signposting applicants onto other organisations, keeping detailed records and producing basic financial reports to highlight the Emergency Funds’ position throughout the year.

You will also lead the annual renewal of the Headway UK’s Solicitor’s Directory, ensuring it remains a vital resource for those seeking specialist solicitors with experience in handling brain injury cases. 

You will support the delivery of Headway UK’s training programme through effective administrative support, including managing the training mailbox, responding to enquiries, distributing certificates, and liaising with delegates and associate trainers.

You will work alongside colleagues within the wider Services Department to provide exceptional administrative support

On occasion you will also be required to work with the Project Lead for Brain Injury Identity Cards and assist with processing Brain Injury Identity Card applications.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to join a globally recognised organisation. Working as part of a collaborative international HR team, you will play a key role in shaping and embedding recruitment best practice across a workforce spanning 26 countries.
This is not a traditional recruitment role. Instead, it offers the opportunity to lead projects focused on recruitment governance, hiring capability, employer branding, candidate experience and recruitment transformation.

The Opportunity

Working closely with HR colleagues, hiring managers and senior stakeholders globally, you will review, enhance and embed recruitment practices across the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing recruitment policies, processes and governance frameworks
• Establishing and managing preferred supplier arrangements
• Supporting the organisation's wider recruitment strategy and capability agenda
• Designing and delivering recruitment training for HR colleagues and hiring managers
• Enhancing the MSC employer brand and candidate attraction approach
• Working with Communications teams to develop an engaging and inspiring careers site
• Supporting wider people projects, including pay transparency initiatives

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience developing and improving recruitment policies and processes
• Experience designing and delivering recruitment training programmes
• Strong knowledge of recruitment best practice and candidate experience
• The ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams and functions
• Experience managing recruitment projects or transformation initiatives
• An understanding of employer branding, attraction strategies and recruitment marketing
• The confidence to work independently while building strong relationships across an international organisation

International experience would be highly advantageous, although candidates from a broad range of sectors will be considered.

Safe Haven Team Leader.

10 hours per week - 2 x 5 hour shifts.

£16.80 per hour PLUS £4.94 per hour Shift Allowance.

17:30 to 22:30 on a 4 week rolling shift rota.

Andover Mind is one of the leading mental health providers in Hampshire. Our Safe Haven service supports those in mental health crisis in Basingstoke and mid Hampshire. The service is covered 7 evenings a week from 5.30pm to 10.30pm, 365 days a year (including bank holidays) on a rolling 4 week rota, and is based at our Wellbeing facility in Basingstoke.

The role of Team Leader is therefore crucial, by leading our teams of Practitioners who will deliver our important Safe Haven service.

To succeed in this role you will be required to support our Safe Haven Manager by utilising your previous supervisory/Team Leading skills. You should be self motivated, be able to demonstrate experience of working with, and an understanding of, those experiencing a mental health crisis whilst remaining calm and professional in any stressful or challenging situation.

So, if you have a history of crisis work within the mental health sector, have an understanding of the implications of individuals experiencing a crisis, and knowledge of creating achievable goals we would love to hear from you.

We're looking for a Supporter Experience Assistant to join our Data, Insight and Supporter Experience (DISE) Team, part of our wider Fundraising Team. You'll be the first point of contact for our supporters — responding to enquiries by phone, email and post with warmth and professionalism. You'll process regular giving requests, including changes to payment schedules, donation amounts and cancellations, ensuring everything is actioned accurately and on time. You'll also help keep our fundraising CRM up to date, supporting the wider team with administrative and income-processing tasks.

About You

You'll have experience in customer service or handling enquiries by phone, email or in person, along with strong administrative skills and real attention to detail. You're comfortable maintaining accurate records or databases, and you communicate clearly and confidently, both written and verbal. You're reliable, collaborative, and share our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion. 

Experience in a charity or fundraising environment, processing Direct Debits, or using a CRM (ideally Raiser's Edge NXT) would be an advantage, but isn't essential.  If you're organised, personable, and want your work to genuinely support young people across the country, we'd love to hear from you.
