We are seeking a dynamic and organised Team Administrator to join our charity. You will manage the overall running of our office by maintaining our administrative processes, managing communications with housing associations and schools and working closely with the wider team in the implementation of training, workshops, events and projects.
This role will provide a variety of operational support to the Programme Team as we develop our offer and the delivery of intergenerational workshops. This job description will be reviewed on a regular basis and may be subject to change, particularly as the needs of the charity change. We aim to make the role permanent in August 2026, subject to funding.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing excellent admin support to the Programme Team and wider team
Guided by the Senior Programme Manager you’ll coordinate the administration of our programmes. You will work with the whole team to ensure contact details, registration forms, surveys and other relevant evaluation tools are completed and uploaded to our systems (CRM, Google Sheets, etc.) after workshops, activities, and other ad hoc events.
Being the go-to friendly face for our participants and partner organisations
You will be the first point of contact for our general inbox, responding to queries, ensuring that new details are added to the database and actions are sent to the relevant member of staff. Your efficient, thoughtful, professional approach will build trust and support the development of close working relationships with our stakeholders.
Ensuring the Programmes Team and partners are workshop ready
Liaising with the Programme Manager and Senior Programme Manager you will make sure our workshop leads have the materials, equipment and details they need to run high quality sessions. You will send out emails and text reminders to facilitators, schools and schemes for upcoming workshops.
Communication and information support
You will support our communications as directed by the Fundraising and Communications Lead. Supporting InCommon’s events, managing correspondence with event attendees, procuring event materials, equipment and resources to ensure a high standard of delivery. You will foster good communications throughout the charity, with Trustees, partners and with relevant external agencies and funders.
Managing the InCommon Office
You will be responsible for making sure the office runs smoothly and have responsibility for health and safety, including fire safety.

The Head of the CEO Office will provide leadership to the CEO Office team and serve as a key advisor to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This role will be responsible for the three specialist areas which form the CEO Office: People Services, Governance and Executive Support.
This role is responsible for delivering the People Services function for the organisation, including the development and implementation of People Services strategies, plans, policies and processes. You will lead the People Services team in delivering high quality support and advisory services.

Specific Tasks:
Delivering the People Services function
Responsible for delivering a high-performing People Services function ensuring all interactions adhere to BC’s inclusion and organisational values. To lead, manage and be accountable for the function, including:
- Aligning workload with BC’s Strategy and annual business plans.
- Advising, coaching, and enabling the People Services team to deliver effectively and create an engaging, supportive, and empowering environment.
- Ensure monthly workforce reporting systems are in place and actions followed up where required.
- Lead on Employee Health and Wellbeing initiatives, promoting a culture of engagement and self-responsibility.
- Implement, monitor and evaluate performance management systems and processes.
- In conjunction with the CEO and SLT, procuring external specialist support and/or legal advice as needed to minimise risk to the organisation.
- Act as the escalation point for complex employee casework, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy, ensuring that the SLT members’ roles remain objective and that safe formal processes can occur if required.
- Account management for providers of BC’s People Services Workforce Systems, ensuring Service Level Agreements are met and partnership opportunities are maximised including Occupational Health, EAP services, Hireful and BreatheHR.
- Oversee and manage ‘Charity Learn’ BC’s online learning management system, to include setting up annual statutory training for all staff and creating bookable in-house training sessions as required.
- In conjunction with the CEO and SLT, develop and implement a People Strategy to include areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, and staff engagement.
Governance, Risk and Management Information & Reporting
Accountable for the smooth running of BC’s core governance activities and trustee meetings, including:
- Overseeing the risk and audit process for the CEO Office, bridging as needed between the Finance Directorate and the CEO Office Directorate.
- Ensuring all core legal requirements are met and that the trustees comply with their duties in accordance with the Articles of Association.
- Ensuring relevant statutory returns are submitted to Charity Commission and Companies House.
Executive Support
- Ensure the support function to the CEO and SLT is delivered efficiently and effectively, including direct line management of the Executive Assistant to the CEO and SLT PA’s.
Management and Development of Team members
Responsible for managing a team of five direct reports and undertaking all People Manager duties, including:
- Setting objectives, workload planning, holding 121 meetings and regular reviews.
- Conducting Performance Development Reviews and giving timely direction and feedback.
- Building engagement within the team and creating an environment of trust and wellbeing.
- Coaching and developing team members to ensure professional and personal growth and career development and supporting any training needs.
- Role modelling people management in line with BC’s values and competency framework, setting a good example from the CEO Office.
Strategy, Planning and Budgeting
Working with the CEO and SLT on the annual and long-term business cycles, including:
- Supporting with the creation of BC’s Strategy as required.
- Creating annual Directorate work plans to deliver actions and outcomes in line with BC’s strategic priorities ensuring teams within your responsibility have clarity and direction.
- Working with Finance to ensure that the function has adequate budget to match the work plans and supporting with budget refresh and reforecasting.
- Supporting the Directorate with workforce planning and resource management as required.
- Responsible for the CEO Office budget.
Relationship building, partnering and culture development,
Operating as a strong ambassador for BC and the CEO by:
- Cultivating and nurturing excellent working relationships both internally with all colleagues and trustees, and externally with branches, volunteers, partners, suppliers, funders, and sector networks.
General:

General Overview
FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.
The aim of the Interpersonal Trauma Response Service is to improve the health, wellbeing and safety of people who have been exposed to trauma arising from sexual violence and abuse and/or domestic abuse.
You will work across a specified number of GP practices across South Devon, to offer support to health professionals working in practices, people who have experience of interpersonal trauma arising from sexual violence and abuse and/or domestic abuse, as well as a service for people at risk of perpetrating abuse.
You and the team will provide training to GP surgeries to improve identification, enquiry, and response for patients. You and your team will also support adults and children who have been impacted by interpersonal trauma with emotional and practical support, focusing on trauma stabilisation. The team will be responsible for facilitating timely access to further appropriate support services where needed.
FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based with requiring travel to GP practices and for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables. Occasional travel to the FearFree office in Exeter and other locations will also be required.
This role may include evening and weekend work when required.

Centre 33 is an ambitious and growing charity based across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity to join our established ‘Someone to Talk to’ service in a Team Lead role. The Team Lead will manage and oversee a team of staff and volunteers supporting young people across Centre 33’s two hubs in our North Locality – in Peterborough, Huntingdon and Wisbech. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience working within a Mental Health, or youth work role, and with experience of managing people. The Team Lead will bring strong expertise and leadership to Centre 33’s mental health support offer for young people aged 13-25 years, leading the teams delivering counselling and the wider, flexible emotional wellbeing offer. They will be responsible for providing support with case allocation, case management, reflective practice, risk management and Safeguarding. They will provide day-to-day designated Safeguarding leadership, supported by the Head of Service and Director of Services. They will develop strong relationships with local organisations and statutory services to ensure effective joint working and support for young people. This role may deliver ad hoc case work to support young people with more complex needs but will hold only a limited ongoing, regular case load.
The hours of work for this role are predominantly within core opening hours of 10 to 6pm, with some evening/Saturday working based on a rota. Due to our service delivery, it is important that the Team Lead is available for hub-based work during our core working hours.

MAIN DUTIES:
- To provide an independent and comprehensive casework, advisory and advocacy service to private and NHS-referred clients (typically health and social care service users or their representatives) in England and Wales throughout the entire NHS Continuing Healthcare assessment, appeal and care planning process from initial assessment stage through to complaints to the Ombudsman.
- To provide specialist information and advice to our clients tailored to their specific situation and needs regarding the interpretation of a primary health need from a thorough understanding of relevant criteria, assessment frameworks and legal tests which are based upon case-law.
- Provide advocacy and active case support remotely and in person to clients in England and Wales, and their representatives throughout the appeal and complaint processes, and occassionally assessments. This will include periodic travel to assessments and appeal meetings across England and Wales (including overnight stays where necessary), as well as attending virtual meetings via videoconference.Please note: most meetings are now completed virtually via videoconference, however a small number of in-person meetings are still taking place. Applicants will need to be comfortable working from home for long periods as well as with periodic long-distance travel.
- To keep informed of issues, policies, guidance and legislation affecting clients ensuring that the information provided is relevant, current, complete and accurate.

The Community Connectors programme is an exciting partnership between Community Links, Aston Mansfield, Mind in Tower Hamlets, Newham and Redbridge, and the NHS East London Foundation Trust (ELFT).
Community Connectors work alongside ELFT under what is called the Mental Health Transformation Programme. The ethos of the programme is recovery focused, exploring needs through complexity (rather than diagnosis), a focus on a person’s strengths and assets, and on the wider determinants of health and wellbeing.
The role involves providing holistic support to people suffering from a serious mental illness or SMI. Service users will have a single or range of diagnosed conditions, will be known to ELFT and will therefore have a range of needs, including symptoms of anxiety or depression, or have a diagnosis of schizophrenia. Specifically, the Community Connector will work with multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) who sit within primary care networks or PCNs (clusters of GP practices) across Newham, and will support people in accessing appropriate local services, embodying a true example of wrap around support.
Above all, the Community Connector will be a strong networker who is able to engage multiple stakeholders for the betterment of service user welfare and outcomes.

JOB PURPOSE
This role sits within The Passage Housing Needs Service (HNS) team. It will provide brief interventions to support individuals who have been placed into accommodation by the HNS team to settle into and sustain their tenancies. The post holder will work holistically to assist individuals to address issues that are impacting on their ability to sustain their accommodation on a time limited basis and will link them into services in their local areas for ongoing support in order for them to gain independence and integrate into their new communities.
MAIN TASKS
- To provide support to individuals who are moving into their new private rented sector accommodation where appropriate and needed. This can include setting up utilities, council tax among other things.
- To support individuals accommodated by the HNS team, in a brief solution focused manner, to find solutions to their housing, benefits, health and other issues when they arise, referring clients to support services, liaising with these, and following up in a timely manner.
- To establish and develop positive and constructive working relationships with a range of services and agencies across London boroughs that can provide support to our clients ensuring the best possible outcomes for them.
- To draw up psychologically informed action plans for clients ensuring they are person centered and taking into consideration the clients’ views.
- Support HNS Workers to complete exit questionnaires to gather feedback and promote co production with the individuals the team supports.
- To ensure that any health and safety and safeguarding concerns are reported appropriately using the correct systems.
