Key Responsibilities

Compliance, Health & Safety & Risk

• Support compliance with Health & Safety legislation, fire safety regulations, and CQC requirements
• Assist with risk assessments, safety audits, hazard reporting, LOLER inspections and PAT testing
• Ensure fire safety systems, drills, and evacuation procedures are tested, recorded, and reviewed
• Support incident reporting and ensure actions and learning are followed through
• Contribute to business continuity planning and emergency response arrangements

Facilities & Operational Projects

• Coordinate refurbishments, repairs, maintenance, and planned works
• Liaise with contractors, checking insurance, qualifications, and compliance documentation
• Monitor quality, progress, and Health & Safety standards on site
• Budget management, spend accountability.

Vehicle & Fleet Compliance

• Support fleet compliance, including MOTs, PSV checks, VED, CTA permits, and Blue Badge requirements
• Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is inspection-ready
• Assist with servicing, repairs, and resolving vehicle issues promptly
• Produce a working rota for the driving team

Administration, Records & Reporting

• Maintain accurate compliance logs, registers, and audit trails
• Produce clear reports for managers and external stakeholders
• Financial budget management

Communication, Training & Support

• Act as a professional and approachable point of contact for staff and contractors
• Work collaboratively with the existing Operations Coordinator to ensure consistency and resilience
• Support Health & Safety training, inductions, and awareness activity

About You

Our client are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident working in a compliance-focused environment.

You’ll need:

• Strong IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Experience in compliance, Health & Safety, facilities, contractor coordination, or fleet administration
• A high level of attention to detail and confidence in managing records and reports

Yada is a small charity working to prevent and remove the stigma around the sexual exploitation of women and girls. Based in West Sussex our services include specialist 1-1 tailored support to self-identifying women involved in the sex industry, as well as partnership working to deliver preventative workshops to women who may be at risk of sexual exploitation.

Our training offer to professionals who support women who are being sexually exploited has also grown over the last few years. In 2025 over 200 professionals received our training. We are at an exciting time in the development of the charity as we look to expand our services, including reviewing our established training offer and exploring new options. 

The role

The Training and Resourcing Lead will have a key role to play in shaping and strengthening Yada, building on our previous success, and ensuring the charity’s sustainability as a respected specialist in the area of sexual exploitation locally and nationally. The role will have responsibility for leading on the review, design, development and delivery of our training offer to external partners and professionals, including networking and proactive local partnership building, to ensure all professionals who support women who are vulnerable to sexual exploitation receive training support. The role will also have responsibility to research, design and deliver a package of short internal training sessions for the development and upskilling of our outreach staff to ensure they remain trauma informed and current as specialists in supporting women in the sex industry. There is an expectation that the post holder will become Yada’s specialist in the sexual exploitation of women who are at risk, and be able to share this knowledge.

About you

We are seeking a self-motivated and organised female who has experience at collabarative working and relationship building, with previous experience in presenting or training.  She should have the ability to take on a specialist area and share this with others in a professional manner in person or online, promoting positive learning. Ideally this person would have previous experience or knowledge of working with vulnerable people, demonstrate an understanding to responses to trauma and PTSD, or show a commitment and passion for marginalised communities and be willing to learn. Knowledge of violence against women and girls would be an advantage.​

The post holder will lead a team of playworkers and volunteers, to ensure that the service provided is of high quality and appropriate for the varying children who attend.

This role requires someone with Level 2/3 qualification in childcare, play work or equivalent or be willing to undertake this level of training upon employment.

You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a childcare setting.

Working Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday 7.15am to 9am and 2.45pm to 6pm Term time only with optional role in holidays.

·To be responsible for the health and safety of children attending all sessions, including carrying out risk assessments and ensuring risk assessment checklists are completed daily. 

·To ensure that resources are well looked after, and to inform the OOSC Senior Coordinator if extra resources are required. 

·To ensure that appropriate care plans and risk assessments are carried out for children with additional needs and for those on the EYFS register.

·Where necessary, to administer First Aid for children who have had an accident, as well as medication for children with health issues, ensuring appropriate training has been completed beforehand. 

·To ensure that all children and young people are made to feel valued and enabled to develop and improve self-esteem self-confidence and positive experiences. 

·To lead a team of playworkers and volunteers, and to ensure that the service provided is of high quality and appropriate for the varying children who attend. 

·When the OSCC Senior Coordinator is not available, to act as the responsible person in charge of the setting. 

·To be flexible in order to meet the needs of service, including when required also working at other Y-Kids Afterschool clubs to help provide cover.

About the Role

The Programme Finance and Compliance Advisor ensures effective financial and compliance management across World Vision UK’s overseas programmes portfolio. You will provide intensive support to adults with complex needs who are further away from employment or training by using a strength-based approach, ensuring those accessing the programme receive appropriate practical and emotional support by visiting them at home or in the community.

The LifeSkills programme supports individuals and families to build their confidence, social networks, financial and employability skills. The LifeSkills Support Worker will work closely with the linked LifeSkills programme, entitled LifeSkills Open.

Main Responsibilities:

· Hold a caseload, delivering regular face-to-face support.

· Deliver a range of support and interventions to individuals with complex needs that focus on their strengths, and which enable them to consider options and think differently, helping them to feel more empowered and able to face new challenges

· Support and deliver activities that increase confidence, improve mental health, widen social networks, help with budgeting and enable individuals to seek training, work or volunteering opportunities.

· Experience of working in services that deliver positive outcomes for individuals and their families

About the role

As Legal Counsel, you will provide high-quality, pragmatic legal advice across a broad range of charity, commercial, contract and regulatory matters.

Working within an experienced legal team collaborating on complex and high-impact legal matters, you will support SCUK's legal and compliance obligations, assist with risk management, instruct external counsel when needed, and contribute to a culture of ethics, integrity and safeguarding. You will also support the development of legal tools and training to empower colleagues to operate with confidence and compliance.

In this role, you will:

• Provide pragmatic, risk-based legal advice across contract, commercial, charity law and regulatory compliance matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of contracts, including donation agreements, grant agreements, partnership agreements, service agreements and NDAs.
• Support compliance with legal obligations including data protection, safeguarding, anti-fraud, anti-bribery, sanctions, and charity law.
• Support external counsel management and liaise with SCUK and SCI legal teams.
• Deliver training and guidance to staff and volunteers to embed legal awareness and self-service across the organisation.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the charitable sector, assess their impact on SCUK and ensure that staff are aware of and comply with changes and updates.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you demonstrate the following:

• Qualified lawyer in England and Wales (or equivalent jurisdiction) with post-qualification experience advising independently on a broad range of commercial, contract and/or charity law matters.
• Experience in at least 1 of the following areas: general corporate / commercial / contract, regulatory compliance, charity / not-for-profit.
• An understanding of:
  • the UK charity regulatory framework; and
  • the UK's bribery and anti-terrorism laws and practice, including the way in which they may impact an international NGO.
• Demonstrated ability to draft, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of contracts, plus experience of advising on compliance issues.

Experienced Social Worker – NHS Pathfinder Partnership
 

GMRC is a registered charity working with adult women who are victims and survivors of sexual violence and child sexual abuse, providing independent, specialist support and promoting and representing their rights and needs.

The post-holder will be based at GMRC but work alongside TRC and MASH women’s services and Greater Manchester Pathfinder partnership, with service users who have experienced sexual trauma but who present with additional complex mental health needs.

Key responsibilities:

- They will work with service users in partner organisation settings and in the community, working collaboratively with individuals, carers and partners from local multi agency providers and services, to assess and identify social care needs that may be potential barriers to the client being able to address their sexual trauma.

- The post-holder will provide guidance, leadership and consultation on social care legislation and policy to the team and to other areas of mental health services, including joint working where appropriate.

- They will contribute to developing and maintaining high standards of decision making and professional practice in the field of social work.

We're looking for someone with experience of verging or similar church support work. Good social skills are essential as is the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.  The ability to work closely with and relate well to all Cathedral staff, ministry team, congregation, volunteers, visitors, and members of the general public will also be required. 

The two Assistant Vergers and Precinct Officers carry out a wide range of duties under the direction of the Head Verger and Precinct Manager.  Work includes: the careful setting up and delivery of all liturgical matters; ensuring a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for all working in, visiting, or using the Cathedral and Cathedral House and precinct and ensuring the day-to-day smooth running of the Cathedral for all.

Essential experience and skills

• A flexible attitude and willingness to take on a range of duties including practical ‘hands- on’ work.
• Attention to detail and an ability to assess priorities including when under pressure.
• Understanding of liturgy or willingness to learn.
• Ability to be a good team player and work collaboratively with Ministry Team and Lay Staff.
