The Role

The Head of Media manages the development and delivery of our media strategy, ensuring Global Witness achieves impactful, high-profile coverage that supports our campaigning, fundraising and brand goals. You will be responsible for managing both proactive and reactive media work across the full breadth of our work. You will also play a central role in managing reputational risk, crisis communications, and cross-organisational coordination.

The role will be vital in ensuring our media output is evidence-based, values-aligned, and informed by audience insights. You will oversee rigorous evaluation of media impact and performance, supporting a culture of learning, agility and audience-first thinking across the organisation.
 

Who we are looking for

• Significant experience working in a senior media, press or communications role, preferably within an advocacy, campaigning or NGO setting.
• Proven track record of securing impactful media coverage across a wide range of international outlets.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Registered Practitioner Psychologist with a background in clinical psychology to join our team in Croydon. The service offers a psychologically informed environment across four sites, providing low to high support forensic mental health services to our residents with forensic mental health needs, complex conditions, and dual diagnosis.

In this role, you will drive the delivery of evidence based psychological assessments and interventions aimed at the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents into the communities. This is a creative, evolving, and impactful role which works closely with our Group Psychological Lead and wider teams to provide support to staff and at times residents to support in providing a streamlined and psychologically informed service.

Key Responsibilities Include: 

• Provide advice, guidance, and support to the team with supporting our residents to overcome personal challenges and create a supportive environment
• Advise and streamline best practices, and enhance the overall skills and expertise of the team to deliver high quality care and support
• Provide clinical supervision to the team
• Provide highly specialised psychological assessments for our residents with mental health and complex needs
• Exercise full clinical responsibility for residents psychological care as a care coordinator within a multidisciplinary team

About You

We're looking for someone who is a self-starter, able to proactively encourage, take leadership and ownership for creating a psychologically informed environment. You will be able to communicate highly complex and sensitive information effectively within the organisation and with external partners, collaborating with external stakeholders regularly in a multidisciplinary approach. You will be able to utilise your own expertise and support in empowering the wider team to enhance their skills to deliver a service which is supportive, safe, and in line with best practice for the organisation and external regulatory bodies. 

• HCPC Registration is essential
• Post-graduate doctoral level training as a Registered Practitioner Psychologist including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology
• Previous experience working as a qualified clinical and/or forensic psychologist, including working with people with complex backgrounds/needs and a good understanding of the sector we run our services in
• Ability to teach, train, consult, and deliver clinical supervision
• Understanding of criminology, psychology, and behavioural patterns, and how they link to different behaviours and engagement

We’re looking for an Individual Giving Manager (9-month maternity cover) to achieve BMS’ fundraising strategy and goals by stimulating new and repeat donations from individual givers and leading creative innovative fundraising campaigns. The successful candidate will be a fundraiser with a track record of meeting ambitious fundraising targets. Key Responsibilities 

Project Support & Coordination 

Assist in evaluating project applications, including assessing suitability and reviewing governance of applying charities. 

• Support the development and implementation of project plans, timelines, and schedules. 

• Coordinate communication between internal teams, CRASH Corporate Patrons, supporters, and charity clients to ensure alignment throughout each project. 

• Track project progress, flag potential delays or risks, and propose practical solutions. 

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including pro bono contracts, plans, and product timelines. 

• Monitor and report on Gift in Kind valuations for each project. 

• Contribute to post project evaluations and lessons learned reviews. 

Stakeholder Engagement 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with CRASH Corporate Patrons, industry supporters, and charity partners. 

• Support the preparation and delivery of presentations, reports, and updates for the CRASH Board of Trustees, charity clients, and project stakeholders. 

• Schedule and coordinate project meetings, ensuring all participants are informed and prepared. 

Project Storytelling & Impact 

• Help gather and organise project content, including photographs and digital assets, to support CRASH’s storytelling and communications. 

• Ensure project information is accurate, up to date, and reflective of the impact achieved. 

General Responsibilities 

• Represent CRASH at virtual and in person events, strengthening relationships with key supporters. 

• Support the fundraising team at events as required. 

Required Skills & Experience 

• Proven experience in project coordination.

• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
