The Digital Transformation Officer will support CCT’s strategy with the replacement/upgrade of its current digital information systems with a new fit for purpose digital environment and manage the Trust’s move to this new environment.

The Digital Transformation Officer will work with all teams within the Trust, across all levels of the organisation, assisting with implementing CCT’s Digital Transformation Strategy. They will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks involved in populating and documenting the system and the supporting infrastructure as it develops.

As the Digital Transformation Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting CCT’s strategic objectives by collaborating with cross-functional teams that leverage agile methodologies, data-driven approaches, and digital technologies. A key focus of the role will be addressing the behavioural and cultural factors that influence the success of digital transformation— using structured engagement, training, and communication approaches to support adoption of new systems.

Purpose of the role:

The Energy Advice Coordinator will provide essential advice to people affected by spinal cord injury who are struggling with, or at risk of fuel poverty, helping them to improve their situation while recognising and responding to the unique challenges that spinal cord injury can bring. They will manage a caseload offering practical solutions, whilst developing referral pathways to connect them with relevant services to improve their energy efficiency and reduce their fuel costs.

The role will also lead the development of knowledge and skills across Back Ups’ staff and volunteer teams, developing easy to use resources and an understanding of when and how to escalate cases for more in-depth advice. They will work closely with sector charities and advice organisations to ensure a high quality of seamless support while creating a lasting legacy for people affected by spinal cord injury.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To provide impartial advice to householders on the telephone, at events or online group events.
• Make use of internal and external referral systems to ensure clients’ needs are met;
•  Respond to enquiries from the public, local authority staff, private and voluntary sectors or installers and, where appropriate, redirecting them to members of staff or other agencies;
• Maintain quality of advice and information as required
• Work with the wider Back Up team to create resources to support people affected by spinal cord injury, both digitally and physically.
• Work with Back Up’s services team to embed and deliver group based online advice sessions in our support groups and course modules.
• Develop and lead a programme to ensure Back Up’s services staff and volunteers develop a baseline of knowledge that enables them to identify and provide basic information to people affected by spinal cord injury around energy efficiency.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' energy needs and identify potential solutions and further sources of support through telephone-based support.
• Provide tailored advice on energy-saving measures and support schemes to the caseload.

We are recruiting a part-time, multilingual counsellor to provide high-quality, trauma-informed therapeutic support to young people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness, with a particular focus on refugees and people seeking asylum. This includes delivering one to one counselling, group therapy, and therapeutic workshops within a busy day centre setting.

You will be passionate about providing culturally competent therapy with a strong understanding of the mental health needs of marginalised communities, particularly refugees and people seeking asylum. You will have fluency in one or more languages commonly spoken by refugee communities, which is essential to this role.

You will be confident working with complex trauma, comfortable in a dynamic, community-based environment, and committed to creating accessible and affirming therapeutic spaces for young people who may have experienced significant barriers to support.

Key details: 

• Contract type and hours: The role is part-time. The post holder will be required to work 21 hours across three 3 days per week. The exact working pattern will be determined following interview. Some work over the Christmas period will be required.

• Salary: The starting salary for role is: £31,200.00 (pro-rata).

Purpose of the job

This role is responsible for the design of UK Youth’s support to young people, youth organisations and youth workers. This could include structured youth work programmes, funding and grants+ programmes, professional development initiatives, and campaigns.

You will lead and oversee end-to-end design processes, ensuring that UK Youth develops fully packaged offers that respond to the evidence base and people’s needs, drive forward our strategy and achieve incredible impact. You will work across UK Youth teams, with external design partners, and meaningfully involving young people and the professionals who support them in the design process.

You will be experienced in developing high quality funding propositions (proactively and in response to new business opportunities). You will be confident in taking a human-centred design approach to tackle some of the youth sector’s knottiest problems.  You will design solutions to important problems, ensuring that they are feasible, equitable, impactful and scalable.

In 2026, our priority topics for youth work programmes and network development are: mental health and wellbeing, employability, social cohesion and community safety.

 As a leader, you will work closely with research, evaluation, policy, service delivery, network development, and fundraising teams. You will help to improve the skills and confidence of colleagues across UK Youth to apply design methods in their own work and collaborate effectively with the Design team.

Experience we're after

• Significant experience of leading and overseeing the development of new business propositions and proposals to time-limited funding opportunities

• Significant experience of designing interventions (digital and/or physical) for young people and/or those who support them 

• Experience using human-centred-design methods and mindsets; managing projects across the end-to-end design process

• Proven track record of inspiring and motivating diverse teams and improving collaborative ways of working across teams and departments

• Experience of developing high quality programme content and curricula for young people, youth workers and/or outdoor learning instructors (desirable)

• Experience of commissioning and managing external design freelancers and consultants (desirable)

The Western Forest is a bold new initiative forming part of England’s National Forest Network—connecting landscapes across Avon, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. Together with a wide network of partners, we’re working to restore nature, improve wellbeing and generate green growth.

As a Farm & Tree Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in planning and delivering woodland creation, supporting our ambition to establish 2,500 hectares of new woodland by 2030. You’ll be working directly with farmers and landowners to bring tree‑planting projects to life—ensuring the right trees are planted in the right places, supported by the right grants and funding.

You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team in Avon or Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, supported by the Western Forest team expertise and embedded in a region‑wide nature recovery network.

�� What You’ll Be Doing

• Acting as an on‑the‑ground representative of Avon / Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and the Western Forest
• Identifying new tree and woodland creation opportunities with existing and new farmer and landowner contacts
• Building and developing strong, trusted relationships with farmers and landowners in your area
• Delivering a one‑stop shop advisory service for tree planting, including site visits, planting design support and grant guidance
• Producing tree creation plans that deliver benefits to the farming system and wider land use
• Managing multiple landowner projects simultaneously—mapping, costing, planning and reporting
• Preparing and submitting grant applications and navigating regulatory requirements
