The Role

The Operations Manager is a key hire within our small but highly effective Operations Unit, sitting alongside a People Operations Manager and reporting directly to the Director of Operations. The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting CLTR’s overall operations, working across units and delivering projects spanning cybersecurity, finance, administration, data protection, office management and others.

This is a hands-on, generalist role suited to a skilled and self-motivated operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable switching between strategic project management and day-to-day delivery. You will have the confidence to take on new challenges and the ability to communicate clearly with internal teams, contractors and external service providers to drive impact.

You will take ownership of key operational systems and processes, lead on our internal cybersecurity and IT operations (in partnership with our external managed service provider), and support a range of compliance, administrative, and organisational improvement projects. As the organisation grows, this role will be central to building the infrastructure that supports a scaling team.

What you’ll do:

Project & Operations Management

• Project manage key operational initiatives from initiation through to delivery, maintaining clear plans, timelines, and stakeholder communication.

• Support the Director of Operations in developing and implementing operational strategies aligned with the organisation's growth plans.

• Identify inefficiencies in existing systems and processes and drive improvements, ensuring the organisation is well-positioned to scale.

• Maintain operational documentation, process guides, and internal knowledge management systems.

Cybersecurity and IT:

• Serve as the primary internal point of contact for our external IT and managed security service provider, ensuring service levels are maintained and issues are resolved promptly.

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations including device management, software licensing, onboarding/offboarding technology needs, and user support escalations.

• Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the organisation's cybersecurity policies and controls, in line with relevant frameworks (e.g. Cyber Essentials).

• Maintain and develop an asset register, acceptable use policies, access controls, and incident response procedures.

• Proactively identify and mitigate IT and security risks as the organisation grows, including preparing for future infrastructure needs.

• Coordinate internal roll out and learning around AI tools.

Compliance & Governance Support

• Maintain and update internal policies in coordination with the Director of Operations, People Operations Manager and relevant leads.

• Support the People Operations Manager with HR-adjacent compliance requirements where appropriate (e.g. right to work checks, DBS, data handling).

• Support organisational compliance activities, including data protection (UK GDPR) and any sector-or donor-specific regulatory requirements.

• Assist in preparing for and managing external audits, accreditations, and due diligence processes.

Office & Administrative Operations

• Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of office operations, including facilities management, supplier relationships, and procurement.

• Manage relationships with key operational suppliers and service providers, reviewing contracts and ensuring value for money.

• Provide flexible administrative support to the Director of Operations and wider Operations Unit as needed, with a can-do approach to varied tasks.

• Support the planning and logistics of internal events, offsites, and all-staff meetings.

• Provide flexible operational support to the Risk Management Unit (0.5 days per week)

Organisational Development

• Contribute to scaling the organisation's operational capabilities as headcount grows, including helping to onboard new staff, implement new tools, and embed operational best practice.

• Proven track record in an operations, project management, or business management role.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and deliver to deadlines.

Location and Travel Requirements

Flexible location within the UK, with the expectation of attending our central London office at least twice-to-three times a week, including Mondays. We are open to discussing remote and flexible working arrangements with candidates.

Role Purpose

The Supporter Engagement Assistant is responsible for growing support for Bassetlaw Foodbank through partnerships, fundraising and community engagement. The role focuses on developing relationships with local businesses, organisations, volunteers and supporters to increase income, donations, and awareness of the charity’s work tackling poverty.

The post holder will represent the charity in the community, identify new opportunities to expand support and generate income, organise donation drives and events, and manage volunteers.

Bassetlaw Foodbank (BFB) was established in 2012 to tackle food insecurity across the district of Bassetlaw. Since 2020 the charity has expanded to tackle poverty on multiple fronts, running projects that focus both on the affordability and accessibility of food. About the role

The Campaign Manager will lead the development and delivery of engaging, audience-focused campaigns that raise awareness of the charity, increase understanding of cancer support services, promote grant-giving programmes, and help drive fundraising growth across the region.

Drive is a high risk / high harm domestic abuse perpetration intervention. Its sole aim is to reduce the risk posed by those using high levels of harm towards family members and / or (ex) partners. This is achieved via disruption, diversion and direct behaviour change work, where safe to do so, within a multi-agency framework.

The Case Manager will strive to work one-to-one with perpetrators who have been identified as high risk to pro-actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and connect with complementary services. To do this, the Case Manager will work with local agencies to design a co-ordinated, strategic individual intervention plan to address identified needs and risks and promote understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours. However, it may not always be safe or possible to meet with the perpetrator. Equally as vital to risk reduction efforts is analysis of presenting information to identify ways to disrupt their abusive behaviour, alongside close-knit multiagency working to implement actions.

Throughout all intervention the Drive Case Manager will work closely with the local IDVA service to review risk, develop safety plans and improve outcomes for all parties involved.

The Case Manager will be responsible for delivering outcomes, working typically for up to 12 months to achieve behaviour change with each Service User.

About you
You’ll have a deep understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on clients and children, as well as the reasons behind abusive behaviours towards intimate partners.

Your knowledge extends to the range of statutory and voluntary agencies that clients and their children may encounter, and you are aware of the impact of domestic abuse on children and parenting, including the additional needs of clients from BMER communities. 

You will have experience in working with clients on issues of domestic abuse, providing one-to-one and group support and advice, managing your own workload and administration, and assessing the risk and safety of your clients and those connected to your client.  You will have handled safeguarding disclosures and referrals, and you communicate clearly with a range of people both over the telephone and in person. 

You will be organised, able to use your initiative, and work effectively as part of a multi-service team. Your administrative skills are strong, and you are adept at using a computer to maintain effective systems. 

Flexible and willing to work evenings, you can travel independently. Additionally, you will understand trauma-informed practices, risk mitigation, and safeguarding. Experience liaising with social workers and other professionals, and in related areas such as substance misuse, child protection, or family support, is desirable. 

Fluency in an additional language and skills in group work are also advantageous. You stay updated with best practices and new initiatives.

This is a new opportunity to develop the role of Fundraising and Partnerships Manager to lead the identification, development and submission of new funding proposals, and to lead on relationship management with new and potential investors.   You will work closely with the technical and operation teams.

About You

Bringing your experience of funding development to ENN, you will be ready to jump in and progress work quickly to capitalise on critical time sensitive funding opportunities. In this role you will be based within a service which is at the heart of delivering person-centred support to vulnerable adults who have been, or are at risk of homelessness. This is a floating support service based in the heart of Wembley, near the Civic Centre. With a team who are dedicated to supporting our participants within their homes, communities, and in outreach based support.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Line Management and Leadership, supporting your team providing advice, guidance and support throughout their employment lifecycle
• Support the Service Manager in leading the day to day operational delivery of the service

Position Summary 

The Head of Fundraising will lead GSG Impact’s fundraising function at a critical stage of organisational growth and income diversification. The role is responsible for delivering GSG Impact's fundraising strategy, supporting the achievement of annual income targets of approximately £3 million per year, converting strategic priorities into fundable propositions, and building the systems, processes, relationships, and team capabilities required to secure sustainable long-term funding.

Working closely with the Chief of Engagement and Strategic Partnerships, senior leadership, fundraising team, Trustees, and National Partners, the Head of Fundraising will oversee the development of a diversified funding portfolio and will be responsible for building and managing a robust fundraising pipeline, strengthening donor stewardship, improving cost recovery, and ensuring fundraising activity is aligned with organisational priorities and financial sustainability goals.

This role requires a proactive fundraiser who can originate opportunities, open senior relationships, develop compelling narratives, lead complex proposal processes, and create a culture of shared fundraising responsibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities 

Business development, Prospecting and Pipeline Conversion

Build and maintain a prioritized list of top institutional, philanthropic, bilateral, multilateral, DFI, corporate, and family-office, and high-net-worth prospects aligned with GSG Impact's strategic priorities.

Proactively identify, research, qualify, and cultivate new prospects, with a particular focus on funders aligned with impact economies, domestic capital mobilisation, climate adaptation and resilience, impact transparency, policy reform, investment vehicles, and emerging markets.

Develop and manage a rolling pipeline of high-quality funding opportunities, moving prospects from initial identification through cultivation, concept development, proposal submission, negotiation, and grant close in collaboration with programme staff and National Partners.

Translate GSG Impact’s strategy into compelling fundable propositions, including unrestricted/core support, restricted programme grants, regional funding, National Partner support, and special initiatives.

Personally lead the development and conversion of the highest-value opportunities, especially prospects requiring senior-level cultivation.

Identify and develop new revenue opportunities, strategic partnerships, and funding models that support GSG Impact's long-term sustainability and income diversification

Proposal Development and Grant Acquisition

Lead the development of high-quality funding proposals, concept notes, and donor engagement materials.

Ensure strategic alignment of all proposals with organisational priorities and donor interests.

Ensure all proposal budgets meet or exceed GSG Impact's cost-recovery targets

Set and ensure implementation of standards for proposal quality, narrative framing, and budget methodology across the fundraising team

Donor Management and Stewardship

Lead the annual stewardship strategy, ensuring renewal and growth of key funding relationships

Oversee narrative and financial reporting, ensuring high quality, consistency, and timeliness

Functional Leadership

External Representation

The Head of Fundraising plays a key role in relationship management with GSG Impact's most significant funders and prospects. They represent the organization at key sector events and convenings as delegated by the Chief of Engagement and Partnerships.

Qualifications

Demonstrable track record of originating new donor relationships and converting them into six- or seven-figure grants.

Experience in building prospect pipelines from a limited starting base.

Strong understanding of institutional philanthropy, bilateral and multilateral funding, DFIs, and/or impact investing funders.

Proven ability to develop fundable propositions from complex, technical, organisational strategies, including on policy, systems-change, market-building, or ecosystem-development initiatives

Experience working directly with CEOs, Boards, Trustees, or senior principals on donor cultivation.

Strong commercial discipline: pipeline management, probability weighting, forecasting, and cost recovery.

Ability to write or lead the development of high-quality proposals under tight timelines.

About This Vacancy

We are looking for a motivated and organised Project Officer to join our International Programmes Team on a fixed-term basis for one year, covering a period of maternity leave.

Overview

The Project Officer will be part of a regional team that works with new and existing partners to design, deliver and learn from projects in line with the organisation’s mission. The team supports the full project cycle: partner engagement, application review, due diligence, project design, contracting, implementation support, monitoring, evaluation and project closure, maintaining accurate records throughout, in close collaboration with the Quality Team (Director and Quality Assurance and Impact (MEAL) Specialists).

The Project Officer will work collaboratively across the regional team, providing flexible support and surge capacity during peak periods and responding to emerging priorities as required. Under the supervision of Programme Managers and the Regional Director, they will also take day-to-day responsibility for a portfolio of assigned partners and specific projects, ensuring timely progression from concept to completion and that documentation, compliance, quality assurance and learning requirements are met. This includes working with the Quality Team to integrate appropriate MEAL approaches, support data quality and ensure learning is captured and shared.

Key Responsibilities

·Project Identification and Evaluation

oIdentify and assess project concepts and proposals with assigned partners, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, feasibility, risk, safeguarding considerations and expected impact.

oContribute to emergency or rapid-response programming when required, including providing surge support to colleagues and helping to coordinate time-critical actions.

oSupport partner mapping and relationship management activities, helping to identify potential partners and project opportunities.

·Stakeholder Engagement

oAct as a key point of contact for assigned partners, working closely with Programme Managers and the wider regional team to coordinate support and decision-making.

oMaintain regular communication with partners to provide guidance throughout proposal development and implementation, including on reporting requirements, procurement expectations and agreed outputs/outcomes.

oCoordinate with the Quality Team (Director and Quality Assurance and Impact (MEAL) Specialists) to support partner capacity strengthening on quality assurance and MEAL requirements, and to address quality or evidence gaps identified during implementation.

oDevelop familiarity with other organisations working in the Region and look for opportunities to collaborate with and learn from them.

·Budget Administration

oSupport sound financial management across the Regional Team and for assigned projects, including budget review, payment scheduling, verification of supporting documentation and reconciliation of expenditure against budgets.

oFor approved projects, ensure that all finance processes are completed to facilitate payments.

oPrepare clear updates and financial summaries for Programme Managers, the Regional Director and other internal stakeholders, maintaining an appropriate audit trail.
