To thrive in this role, you'll need hands-on experience of facilitating groups or meetings and an understanding of what great facilitation looks like. Whilst already being a qualified SMART Recovery Facilitator and/or having engaged with our meetings as a previous participant is a distinct advantage, we also accept applications from individuals with a general awareness of addiction recovery or our 4-Point Programme. Importantly, you’ll be someone who brings people together, listens deeply, and creates a safe, empowering space for growth and recovery.

Your presentation skills should engage, inspire, and inform with clarity and warmth, whether you’re speaking with a room full of volunteers, delivering training via Zoom, or presenting to our partnership organisations. You’ll be required to help grow our footprint, increase and diversify our partnerships and encourage the uptake of our programme. You will represent UKSR at community events, recovery walks and conferences and get involved in defined projects.

It’s essential for you to bring empathy, authenticity, and a deep respect for others’ experiences to all of your interactions. You’ll need to be self-motivated and highly organised, and able to manage your time, workload, and travel with autonomy. You’ll be someone who uplifts, encourages, and empowers, helping others see what’s possible.

You should have experience in working with volunteers, understanding how to support and develop their skills. Previous delivery of training is essential, and if that experience has been gained in a peer-support or recovery setting, all the better. This role requires emotional intelligence; you’ll be working with people who have faced adversity, and your ability to support them within clear, professional boundaries is critical. Giving and receiving feedback, gathering data and other evidence to inform service development, and exercising reflective practice are all essential attributes.

You’ll also contribute to key projects that move SMART Recovery forward, adding your voice and insight to help shape what comes next. The role therefore requires project mangement skills as you will work on specific projects that develop our publications, training, communications and marketing. If you have a special interest and expertise in certain areas of our business such as social media and campaigns, training, volunteer management or copywriting we can develop this skill and interest as an enhancement to your role. Developing areas of expertise within our Co-ordinator team is something we are keen to do. 

As this is a home-based role, you’ll need to be comfortable forming meaningful relationships online, building trust and connection via email, phone, and video calls. We’ll provide the equipment you need, but you’ll bring the energy and adaptability to make remote working feel personal and productive. Regular travel across the defined regions is a vital part of the role, visiting SMART Recovery meetings in the community and within partner organisations, and offering continual support to facilitators, are all essential in helping our network continue to grow with the quality we strive for.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking an experienced and motivated Research Initiatives Manager to lead programmes that strengthen research capacity, capability and innovation across the paediatric workforce.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Research and Evidence team and play a leading role in shaping the future of child health research. Working closely with senior clinicians, including the Officer for Research and the Officer for Genomics, you will lead a portfolio of projects and initiatives designed to support paediatricians in developing academic skills, engaging in research and preparing for emerging developments in healthcare, including genomic medicine.

Reporting to the Head of Research and Evidence, you will lead the delivery of  a range of research initiatives focused on building research capability across the profession and manage the RCPCH Genomics Programme. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, external partners, researchers, clinicians and funders to develop resources, events and programmes that support the paediatric workforce and improve outcomes for children and young people.

You will also manage a small team, oversee funded projects and represent the College across national research and genomics networks, helping to position RCPCH as a leading voice in paediatric research and innovation.

About the role

We’re looking for a London Marathon Officer to join Young Lives vs Cancer and help deliver an exceptional experience for Team Young Lives vs Cancer runners, supporters and volunteers at the 2027 Double TCS London Marathon. 

This is an unprecedented, one-off event year and one of our biggest fundraising opportunities – so we’re looking for someone who’s ready to play a hands-on role in making it a huge success. 

This fixed-term role sits in our Sports and Challenge Events team, working closely with the Sports and Challenge Events Portfolio Manager to steward our marathon fundraisers, build strong supporter relationships and keep our communities motivated across email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, post and social channels. 

You’ll also support event delivery, including registration and training systems, fundraising materials, income checks, volunteer coordination and race-week logistics. We’re looking for someone organised, proactive and confident juggling priorities in a busy events environment. 

You’ll need to be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends, with additional office attendance in Bristol and London ahead of the event and availability during London Marathon week in April 2027 (20th to 25th April). 

What will I be doing?

Could you be our new Fundraising and Events Coordinator at Destitute Animals Shelter?

We're looking for someone who not only loves and cares for animals but is also resilient and resourceful in dealing with humans! If you're the sort of person who isn't afraid to develop and try out new and creative ideas to put us out into the community, but who is also well experienced in raising funds and running events that make a real financial and social impact, this could be the role for you.

This is a brand-new position within our Shelter's small team of dedicated staff and volunteers. Everything we do is in service of our mission to Rescue, Love, Repeat, taking in animals who have nowhere else to go, giving them the care they need, and finding them the homes they deserve. You'll report to the Chair of our Fundraising and Promotion Committee and work closely with our Operations Manager, with strategy and support offered throughout. Your role will be operational, with a focus on delivery and community engagement, and you'll be encouraged to make your own mark on it as we grow.

Destitute Animals Shelter has developed a Fundraising Strategy for 2025 – 27, and we're looking to diversify our income streams to make sure we're hitting the financial targets that cover the rising costs of the good work we do daily at our Shelter. With support from the Committee, you'll help shape that strategy as well as deliver against it.

What You'll Be Doing

Fundraising:

• Support the delivery of the DAS fundraising strategy and income targets.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with individual supporters, local businesses, community groups and donors.
• Research and identify new fundraising opportunities, grants, sponsorships and community partnerships.
• Organise and promote fundraising campaigns, appeals and supporter initiatives.
• Encourage regular giving, sponsorship and community-led fundraising.

Oasis City Farm - Southampton is a community focused registered charity. We provide a range of supportive, wellbeing boosting, and nature-based activities for our communities, which include young people and adult learners with disabilities.

You will deliver engaging, educational and wellbeing-boosting activities for children and young people at Oasis City Farm – Southampton. About the role

As a Coach Lead Worker (Landlord Liaison) you will join our team in Birmingham at an exciting time. You will be managing a caseload of homeless members and providing advice, guidance and advocacy as well as delivering an outstanding property procurement service across the private rented sector. In addition, it’s a role requiring commercial acumen and creativity as you partner with private landlords to source accommodation for our members. You will work collaboratively with partners and staff across the organisation to ensure tenants receive the support they need to sustain their homes and landlord relationships are nurtured. About you

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and knowledge:

• Managing a caseload of homeless people and working towards case management standards
