The role
The Finance Manager leads on the operational management of the finance function to ensure there are robust financial controls, effective reporting and efficient day-to-day financial operations across the organisation, including our ancillary charities and literary estates. As Governance Manager, you’ll take charge of The King’s Fund’s governance arrangements to ensure the charity runs as it should. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll see that the support structures and processes are in place for us to meet our obligations and strategic goals.

A key priority for this role will be supporting UK-Med's response in Gaza, and the successful candidate must be willing and suitable to undertake deployments to Gaza and other high-risk humanitarian contexts as required.
Due to the highly deployable nature of this role, candidates must be able to travel internationally at short notice. UK-Med will consider deployment mobility, including passport eligibility and access to current and anticipated programme locations, as part of the overall assessment process.
Working closely with HR & Membership, Operations, Security, Safeguarding and programme teams, you will support rapid mobilisation, strengthen HR systems and processes, and contribute to workforce planning and organisational preparedness. When not deployed, you will help strengthen UK-Med's ability to respond rapidly and effectively to humanitarian crises worldwide.

We are seeking an organised and proactive Programme and Finance Manager to support the planning, coordination and financial management of a major exhibitions and displays programme.

About the Role
The Operations Coordinator will play a key role across the charity, supporting the smooth running of Learning with Parents’ core functions during a period of growth and enabling the team to effectively deliver our programmes and achieve impact for disadvantaged families.
In particular, they will assist the Operations team with HR and recruitment processes, providing additional administrative capacity and supporting our finance functions. They will also provide essential administrative support for the Schools team, including supporting with responding parent and teacher queries, maintaining CRM systems and issuing invoices.
