The UK plays a vital role within this global organisation, contributing significant income, insight and strategic input. The programme is performing strongly, with income expected to reach c.£14–15m this year, underpinned by a successful individual giving and legacy programme.

Smile Train is now entering its next phase of growth in the UK, with a clear opportunity to build and strengthen high-value income, particularly across major donors, mid-value giving and trusts & foundations. We are seeking a Director of UK Fundraising to lead this next stage – shaping strategy, strengthening delivery and building a more balanced, sustainable income portfolio over time.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer in New York, you will lead the UK fundraising programme and team of six, sitting at the heart of a global organisation. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, setting direction while personally driving key relationships and opportunities at the highest level.

With a strong foundation in place and growing investment in the UK, this is a significant opportunity to build high-value fundraising from a relatively early stage, while contributing to a global fundraising strategy and organisation with exceptional scale and impact.

As Director of UK Fundraising, you will:

• Lead and deliver the UK fundraising strategy, aligned to global priorities
• Drive income growth across all streams, with a particular focus on high-value fundraising
• Develop a more structured, relationship-led approach to major donors, mid-value giving and trusts & foundations
• Personally manage and grow a portfolio of high-value donors and prospects
• Lead, develop and bring clarity to a UK team of six staff
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and performance management
• Work closely with global colleagues to translate strategy into effective UK delivery
• Act as a senior ambassador for Smile Train in the UK

Essential skills and experience:

• A strong track record of developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies, including high-value income streams
• Proven success in securing major gifts and building long-term donor relationships
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including forecasting and performance management
• Experience working with senior stakeholders, including trustees or boards
• The ability to operate both strategically and operationally in a senior leadership role
• Excellent relationship-building, influencing and communication skills

Desirable:

As Fundraising Lead- Midlands & South Wales, you will lead Philanthropy and Corporate fundraising across your region, developing relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals, senior business leaders and corporate partners.

You will manage Centre Fundraising Managers, and support them on planning and prioritisation, work with Fundraising Boards as appropriate, and share best practice across Maggie’s. You will also help develop new fundraising opportunities.

We are recruiting a Queer Space Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of Greenwich’s Queer Space. Queer Space is for LGBTQIA+ individuals (18+) who live or have a GP in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and are looking to connect with others and get support for their mental health through engaging with peers.

As this service is peer-led, we are looking for a proactive and compassionate individual, with lived experience of LGBTQIA+ communities and mental health challenges, to coordinate the programme. This will include developing the service in line with service users' needs, facilitating the fortnightly sessions, and leading on project management and administration. Alongside this, we would like the Coordinator to recruit and supervise peer support volunteers to support with group facilitation.

You will have experience in group development, facilitation, and volunteer management, and an excellent understanding of service user engagement, particularly with the LGBTQIA+ community. You will be highly organised and proficient with case management tasks and project management administration.

Groups will be held at the Forum at Greenwich community centre and will take place twice a month, once in the evening and once in the afternoon. 

The role is for two 7.5 hour days per month, until 31 March 2027.

About the role

The Innovative Finance Manager role is central to advancing innovative finance initiatives that create transformative outcomes for children.

You will lead the design, shaping and execution of a portfolio of innovative finance projects—such as child-lens impact investment and inclusive insurance—across the Save the Children Movement, supported by the Innovation Hive. This includes designing and structuring financing mechanisms, developing proposals, and coordinating partners.

The role combines strategic leadership, venture development and execution, with a strong emphasis on mobilising capital, building partnerships, and developing scalable solutions that can influence systems and markets. You will play a key role in originating and structuring new opportunities, supporting their progression from early-stage concept through to implementation and scale, while ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and impact objectives.

Working across geographies, with a focus on Latin America and Africa, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners to deliver high-impact programmes. With impact on children as your guiding star, you will also monitor emerging trends and opportunities in innovative finance to inform strategic decision-making.

You will also contribute to strengthening organisational capability in innovative finance, supporting knowledge sharing, mentoring colleagues, and embedding best practice across Save the Children UK.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the origination design and structuring of high-impact innovative finance projects that advance child-focused impact, such as blended finance, insurance, carbon finance and impact investment funds.
• Exercise strong judgement and autonomy in prioritising opportunities, shaping initiatives, and influencing decision-making on programme design, resource allocation, and strategic direction.
• Develop compelling proposals, concept notes and investment cases that unlock funding and advance scalable innovative finance solutions. Lead market scanning, research and strategic analysis and originate opportunities in priority areas and across geographies particularly in Latin America and Africa.
• Integrate impact management frameworks into projects you lead, ensuring all initiatives are data-driven, aligned with Save the Children's impact objectives, and deliver measurable outcomes for children.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of tools, resources, frameworks and support mechanisms that enhance the delivery of innovative finance projects.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with internal teams, country offices, and external stakeholders including investors, foundations and development finance institutions, to grow pipeline and enable delivery
• Represent Save the Children in external forums and contribute to contribute to thought leadership and insights on innovative finance for children, strengthening the organisation's position in innovative finance 

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have/are:

• Demonstrated experience in leading the design, execution, and management of innovative finance models such as impact investment, carbon credits and inclusive insurance.

We are looking for Senior Operations Contracts Lead (East of England)

Salary: £38,000 - £48,000

Plan and oversee the weekly LCM online prayer meetings

• Every Tuesday evening, supporters from across the UK and beyond meet on Zoom to hear from a missionary and pray for gospel work. These online meetings have become a valued community, especially for those who cannot easily meet missionaries in person.

Support missionaries in engaging their supporters more effectively

• Missionaries rely on communities of Christians who pray, encourage, and give. Their LCM web pages help supporters understand their ministry and stay connected. Create fresh content for LCM’s communications channels

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Veterans Liaison and Officer (VLSO) to join a team providing support to ex-armed forces personnel.  You will be home-based, with a caseload spread across Hertfordshire and occasionally adjoining counties.

We are looking for a dedicated individual who will empower ex-service personnel to regain their independence after a period of Mental Health (MH) Crisis, supporting them to thrive and contribute to our communities.  This role will join a team of existing VLSOs across the  East of England as part of a wider collaborative team within NHS England’s Op Courage - the Veterans’ Mental Health and Wellbeing service, and will work with other service charities and local support services. You will be home based with daily travel around your local region to support your clients and build relationships in the community, whilst working as part of the wider regional WWTW and NHS clinical teams.

We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with prior experience of working with vulnerable adults; an individual who can work independently to set priorities that accurately reflect the client’s needs.  Your role will be to work with clients in the community (or their homes), facilitating intense support and analysing individual needs to create a support plan that will break down barriers to a successful stabilisation, whilst navigating their mental health pathway.

Main Role & Responsibilities

The Director of Income Generation will lead the charity’s fundraising and income generation strategy with a particular focus on securing, managing, and growing funding linked to gambling, gaming and wider digital harm prevention, including funding overseen or commissioned via the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).

The Haringey Wellbeing Network shall be working in partnership with the Haringey GP Federation, focusing on improving physical health outcomes for those living with Severe and Enduring Mental Illness (SMI) within the BAME community.
