Job description

Who are we?

We’re Pharmacist Support – the pharmacy profession’s independent charity and a small, ambitious team with a big purpose: to champion the wellbeing of our pharmacy family. Every day, we help pharmacists, former pharmacists, trainee pharmacists and pharmacy students look after their wellbeing and navigate life’s challenges – with trusted information, practical resources and confidential support when they need it.

Now we’re looking for an experienced, compassionate and proactive Senior Service Delivery Officer – Information & Enquiries to join our team. Information & Enquiries sits at the heart of what we do. You’ll listen to people, understand what they need and help them find the right information, guidance and support. You’ll also use the insight we gain from those conversations to understand changing needs, identify gaps and help shape how we respond to our pharmacy family.

It’s an opportunity to make a difference to people directly while helping to strengthen what we do now and in the future.

A role with real purpose

People come to us for many different reasons – from looking for information and ways to look after their wellbeing to navigating difficulties at work, financial worries or other challenges in their lives.

With empathy, good judgement and a calm, supportive approach, you’ll help people understand their options and take positive steps forward.

You’ll:

  • provide high-quality, compassionate information and guidance
  • assess individual needs and help people access the right support
  • facilitate referrals to specialist and Pharmacist Support services
  • develop trusted information and wellbeing resources
  • identify trends, emerging issues and unmet needs
  • build relationships across pharmacy and the wider support sector
  • represent Pharmacist Support at meetings, conferences and events
  • contribute to specific services including Financial Assistance, Addiction Support and Listening Friends.

It’s a varied role combining people, information, insight and relationships, with plenty of opportunity to bring your ideas and make a difference.

Could this be you?

You’ll bring experience from an information, advice, enquiries or support environment and, just as importantly, you’ll care about the people behind every enquiry.

You’ll be a clear and compassionate communicator who listens well, approaches people without judgement and can navigate sensitive or complex situations. You’ll be confident researching and communicating information, building relationships and spotting opportunities to make things better.

Because your wellbeing matters too

We spend every day championing the wellbeing of our pharmacy family and we believe that commitment starts with our own people.

Our approach includes flexible working, coaching and development, wellbeing activities and practical support for physical, mental and financial health. We’re proud that this commitment has been recognised with the Charity Learning Consortium Excellence in Workforce Wellbeing Award and the Culture Pioneer Wellbeing Award.

Our benefits include:

  • flexible working hours and homeworking
  • 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays and an additional day at Christmas
  • the option to carry over or buy additional annual leave
  • a Health Cash Plan, Employee Assistance Programme and 24/7 mental health support
  • learning and development, including coaching and mentoring
  • two paid volunteering days each year
  • life assurance and pension scheme.

When your work is about supporting other people’s wellbeing, we think it’s important that your wellbeing is supported too.

Ready to make a difference?

If you’re curious, thoughtful and organised, and want to use your skills and ideas to help people and make a genuine difference, we’d love to hear from you.

To apply, complete our application form, CV's will not accepted.

For an informal chat about the role, email us at the same address, and we’ll arrange a conversation.

Application deadline: 5pm, Monday 26 October 2026
Interviews will take place on: Wednesday 18 November 2026 at our Manchester office.

Bring your experience. Bring your ideas. Make a difference.

Join us and help champion the wellbeing of our pharmacy family.
