Mind in Croydon is seeking a motivated, empathetic and person-centred Mental Health Personal Independence Co-ordinator (MHPIC) to support adults experiencing mental health challenges to live independently and access the resources and services they need within their local communities. The MHPIC will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) within the Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT) framework. You will provide one-to-one support to individuals, helping them develop Personal Recovery Plans and Action Plans using Open Dialogue approaches, navigate local services, and build confidence and autonomy. The role involves community-based support, home visits, and liaison with carers, families, and a range of health, council, and voluntary sector professionals. You will act as a named keyworker, supporting individuals over a defined period to achieve their recovery goals and improve their mental health and wellbeing.

About the role

As our Programme Support and Knowledge Director, you will play a key role in delivering our mission by providing strategic leadership to the PSK team and the wider IPD, as part of the department’s SMT. You will also input into organisation-wide initiatives, external collaborations and global networks to drive sustainable change.

In this role, you will:

• Provide strategic and technical leadership to WaterAid UK’s programmes

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• Proven ability to lead strategic, impactful initiatives in large organisations
• Strong understanding of planning, monitoring and evaluation in development

• A track record of leading high-performing teams and supporting change

Exciting Coordinator role at the heart of a national refugee and climate action project - 'Action Asylum'. Based in Liverpool, starts July 2026.

Action Asylum is a national, community-led, nature-based volunteering project that brings people seeking asylum and local residents together through practical climate and nature action - tree planting, habitat restoration, beach cleans, and food growing. Delivered across ten cities through a cross-sector network of refugee-sector organisations, Wildlife Trusts and local green partners, the project improves wellbeing and belonging, strengthens community cohesion, and contributes to nature recovery and climate resilience.

The project is led by Task Force Trust and we have secured funding for the 3 year project. A Central Coordination Team (CCT), hosted by Asylum Link Merseyside in Liverpool, provides national strategic oversight, partner coordination, communications, and evaluation across the full network.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, values-driven coordinator to join the Action Asylum Central Coordination Team as National Coordinator. This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of a genuinely innovative national project - one that sits at the intersection of migration, climate action, and community.

The National Coordinator is the operational engine of Action Asylum's national network. You will be the primary point of contact for Project Leads across all ten cities, keeping delivery on track, ensuring robust monitoring and reporting, and supporting partners to deliver safe, inclusive, high-quality programmes. You will also coordinate the Skills Exchange Programme, work jointly with the Project Director on the University of Nottingham's independent evaluation, and line-manage the Liverpool Action Asylum Project Lead.

You will be based at Asylum Link Merseyside in Liverpool as part of the CCT, working closely with the Project Director (your line manager), the Finance Manager, and the National Comms Officer. Flexible working is available and regular in-person presence at the CCT base is expected. The role is 4 days per week (0.8 FTE) on a fixed-term contract aligned to the three-year project (July 2026 – June 2029), with an expected start date of Monday 6 July 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for all ten city-level delivery partners, convening monthly national Project Lead meetings and quarterly national partnership network meetings.

• Manage the CODA reporting system, ensure timely partner reporting, compile bi-annual reports for funders, and support the University of Nottingham's independent evaluation (access, logistics, and city-level data - jointly with the Project Director).

• Oversee the continued co-production and delivery of the Skills Exchange Programme with all delivery partners and Wildlife Trusts throughout the three-year project.

• Support local partners with communications activity, contribute to the quarterly national newsletter, and work with the National Comms Officer and IMIX Media to ensure consistent, inclusive messaging across the network.

• Support the Project Director - who holds national safeguarding lead responsibility - in maintaining the project-wide safeguarding framework, risk log, and partner training records.

• Line-manage the Liverpool Action Asylum Project Lead (PL), who holds a combined role spanning Action Asylum project delivery and ALM's wider community wellbeing programme. This includes biannual supervisions, supporting the PL to meet their combined objectives, and offering pastoral support as needed.

• Play a key coordination role in national annual events (Year 2 Liverpool meet-up and Year 3 closing celebration) and support funder network engagement.

About You

We are looking for someone who brings:

• Experience working in the refugee, asylum or migrant sector, with a genuine understanding of the barriers and strengths within these communities.

• Strong project coordination and network management skills - comfortable holding multiple relationships and workstreams simultaneously.

• Experience with monitoring, evaluation and reporting, including data management and funder reporting.

• Excellent facilitation skills and confidence leading virtual meetings with diverse participants.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail - able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines effectively.

• Experience of, or confidence in, line managing or supervising staff, with a supportive and accountable management style.

• A warm, collaborative working style with a genuine commitment to equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed practice.

Key Responsibilities

People strategy - (Approx 40%)

• Operations strategy and ways of working: Work with the CEO and SLT, co-design and implement a robust operations strategy and clear ways of working for effective allocation of team and resources to achieve the organisation's objectives, strengthening further our  principles of deep collaboration, equity and care.

• Equitable recruitment and retention strategy: Building on our existing progress in inclusive hiring, you will work closely with the CEO and SLT to evolve and champion our recruitment and retention strategy. • Systems improvement: Enhance and adjust systems, processes, and best practices to ensure they are flexible enough to respond to the lived realities of a diverse team.

• Digital access: Lead the planning and implementation of IT and digital strategies that facilitate accessible and collaborative remote/hybrid working.

• Compliance and safety: Maintain and communicate health, safety, and security protocols through a lens of collective care and team protection.

HR & financial administration (Approx 20%)

• HR: 

  • HR Software & data ownership, maintenance and ensuring consistency in colleagues use of the software. 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for HR enquiries, accessibility requests, and leave calculation.

  • Act on behalf of the CEO in handling confidential issues with care and restorative intent & liaising with external HR advisor.

• Financial support: In partnership with our Finance Manager, coordinate confidential finance administration, including payroll, pensions, and audit preparation, ensuring all team members are supported by stable financial operations.

• Resource management: Manage IT and Operations budgets.

• Contract management: Oversee the administration of employment contracts and agreements and NDAs for freelancers, as well as internship placements to ensure fair and clear working agreements.

Executive support & governance (Approx 10% of the time)

• Leadership partnership: Support the SLT in strategic direction, planning, and workforce development so they can focus on fundraising, advocacy and high-level impact work.

• Support the CEO on internal communications, business travel, scheduling, diary management, technical assistance.

• Board: Manage all JB Board administration, including arranging quarterly meetings, minutes, etc.

• Funding & tenders: Provide necessary operational and organisational information for funding applications and manage portal processes for payments and offers.

Person Specification

Essential

• HR Expertise: Six to eight years of demonstrable practical experience in designing and implementing People centred strategies with a focus on collaborative leadership rooted in inclusion, equity, diversity and care (six to eight years of experience). We’re particularly interested in someone experienced and/or genuinely interested in participatory design methods that incorporate the lived experiences of a diverse team.

• Operational excellence: Six to eight years of demonstrable practical experience of developing and implementing effective operations strategies and effective systems and processes that enable organisational excellence and staff wellbeing.

• A genuine, demonstrable commitment for the role of culture in addressing the climate, environment and justice crises, preferably with experience of working with values-led teams working on systemic issues especially working across climate, environmental and justice issues.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to help to shape, support and deliver marketing plans for Alder Hey Children’s Charity for a wide range of stakeholders, reporting to the Senior Marketing Officer This is a broad and varied marketing role which requires creativity, excellent communication and project management skills to help the charity plan and execute its marketing, fundraising and brand campaigns.

Main Duties/Tasks

Marketing Planning, Campaign Delivery & Performance:

• Support the Senior Marketing Officer and Marketing & Communications Manager to implement marketing plans and campaign strategies.
• Ensure campaigns across fundraising teams align with brand, audience insight and organisational priorities.
• Collaborate with fundraising teams to plan, create and implement integrated marketing campaigns across multi channels that meet brand and fundraising goals.
• Identify opportunities to grow audiences, engagement and income through innovative marketing approaches.

• Manage the production and distribution of marketing materials across external suppliers as required.

​AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY​​​

​1.You will be responsible for the Changemaker Development Programme (CMDP) including but limited to:

• Working with the Associate Director of Programmes and Associate Director of Partnerships to coordinate programmes planning and delivery timelines for CMDP.
• Managing cross programmatic projects to standardise processes and practices in the Programmes Department
• Designing and developing the recruitment process for Alumni to join the CMDP and create a targeted recruitment strategy to grow the Alumni Changemaker pool
• Managing the monitoring and evaluation of the programme including quantitative and qualitative data, and facilitate the process of ongoing learning being integrated into the programme
• Working with Programmes Leadership Team to coordinate and deliver a holistic safeguarding, wellbeing and pastoral care strategy across TAA’s work with young people
• Responsible for holding the CMDP budget and ensuring that it is managed and spent in accordance with TAA expenses procedure e.g. signing off expenses up to £1,000 expenditure and escalating to Director of Programmes and Partnerships for amounts exceeding this.

2.​You will be accountable for the learning design and delivery to include but not limited:

• Leading the design of the CMDP curriculum to agreed TAA standards engaging key stakeholders, e.g. alumni, programmes team, external partners 
• Supporting Alumni Changemakers to design, deliver and facilitate social justice workshops in line with established pedagogical approaches at TAA.
• Leading the development of learning journeys for Alumni Changemakers.
• Working during school holidays for camps, and in the evenings to accommodate school hours, which may include regular evening work and unsocial hours during programme delivery.​

3.You will be the port of call for the Changemakers and Community Organisers who will help run the programme, and a regular and trusted individual whom the young people know and can connect with. To include but not limited to:

• You will support the Changemakers in co-creating this space with young people in the community and helping them identify ways to bring participants along into the membership.
• You will be managing the Changemakers who are delivering the programme - and updating both the Community Director and Director of Programmes and Partnerships on their progress and development. 
• You will hold the budget for the programme - keeping track of expenses and thinking through ways to keep costs down. 
• You will ensure that you provide accurate and timely financial information to the budget lead for your work and to the Finance, HR & Operations team
• You will be responsible for holding relationships with Alumni Changemakers and holding the relational culture of the CMDP to ensure we have a brilliant atmosphere for learning, nurturing and growth for Alumni Changemakers, including but not limited to:
• Taking responsibility for the pastoral care of Alumni Changemakers on placement including building the pastoral care approach with the Programmes Leadership Team.
• Taking responsibility for building and nurturing key relationships with fellow social justice activists, organisers and educators in the sector who can support, challenge and inspire our Alumni Changemakers.
• Representing TAA at any applicable events, in the press and in activist circles 
• ​Building and nurturing relationships with alumni/members.​

4.You will be accountable for the learning design and development of the Leadership Development Framework. To include but not limited to:

• Designing and developing a cohesive, high-quality curriculum aligned to TAA’s strategic goals and organisational values
• Establishing and embedding a clear pedagogical approach that underpins all delivery and supports effective facilitation
• Creating structured learning journeys that support the progression and development of young people as leaders
• Developing and maintaining facilitator guides, resources and tools to ensure consistency and quality across delivery
• Working with staff and members to ensure curriculum and pedagogy are effectively understood and implemented
• Reviewing delivery, gathering feedback and insights from members, and iterating on the curriculum and approach to continuously improve quality and impact​

5.You will ensure that your programmatic activities are managed as well-oiled machines through pulling in the right people at the right time and ensuring that key milestones are met:

• Responsible for ensuring effective departmental administration including delegating key administrative tasks to relevant staff
• You will be working with the Director of Programme and Partnerships, Director of Community, the Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team and others to think about the safety, safeguarding, and wellbeing needs of the young people participating in the programme and beyond. 
  • You will ensure safeguarding and Health and Safety standards are met across the programmes team and other critical policies and practices within the organisation, working proactively with relevant leads to understand requirements and operationalise effectively
  • You will contribute towards risk management standards and ensure Health and Safety standards are met across programmatic and community team
  • You will be responsible for managing and overseeing a suite of behind-the-scenes systems, databases and resources which comply with UKGDPR, safeguarding and other legal requirements.
• You will be responsible for overseeing the logistics of the CMDP including the organisation and coordination of venues, food, travel, staff and risk assessments, individual care plans etc.
• Work closely with the development team to align work with fundraising targets and support them in identifying and securing appropriate fundraising opportunities
• You will be committed to learning, monitoring outcomes, and holding us accountable to ourselves, our communities, funders, allies and donors. This includes shaping thoughtful MEAL practices and developing systems that go beyond compliance, enabling genuine learning and innovation while respecting the integrity and privacy of the young people in the programme.​

6.Culture, values and wider strategy and mission. Provide senior accountability within your remit for ensuring the delivery of our strategic objectives by embedding our vision, mission, strategy, ideology and cultural values across your area and the wider organisation. Play a central role in shaping organisational direction and leading cross-departmental priorities and initiatives. To include but not limited to:

London Community Foundation exist to improve the lives of the most disadvantaged people in London by working with donors to invest in small, local charities and community groups.

We are now seeking a Finance Director to play a pivotal role in shaping our future, strengthening our financial sustainability, supporting our governance, and enabling us to deliver greater impact for London’s communities.

The role

As Finance Director, you will sit at the heart of decision-making within a purpose-driven organisation, influencing strategy, supporting the Board, guiding investment decisions and ensuring that resources are directed where they matter most.

As a key member of the Senior Management Team, working closely with the CEO, Board, and committees to ensure strong financial leadership, governance, and long-term sustainability.

You will:

· Lead financial strategy, planning, and performance across the organisation

About you

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience operating at a senior level and advising Boards and executive teams.

The Shakespeare Hospice is looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Fundraising Assistant to join our Income Generation team and play a central role in supporting the Hospice’s fundraising activity.

This role is the first point of contact for many of our supporters, helping to ensure every interaction with the Hospice is positive, responsive and meaningful. You will act as a key coordination point across the fundraising team, supporting campaigns, community fundraising, events and supporter communications.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will help to ensure that fundraising activity runs smoothly and that opportunities to engage and thank supporters are maximised.  This role is pivotal in ensuring that supporters feel valued and connected to the Hospice, helping to turn initial engagement into long-term relationships.

You will be someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in providing excellent supporter care.  You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities while maintaining attention to detail.

Experience in fundraising, events, customer engagement or supporter care would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.

Every interaction you manage will help ensure supporters feel connected to the Hospice and inspired to continue supporting the care we provide to families across South Warwickshire.

Role outline and purpose

To manage policy and public affairs influencing in Wales to ensure effective delivery of Trussell’s strategy to achieve policy and secure policy change that ends the need for food banks.

To contribute to the delivery of the wider goals of the Making Social Security Work programme across the UK and to the Prioritising Hunger & Hardship, Supportive Communities and Holistic Advice programmes in Wales.

Key responsibilities

· Supports the development and delivery of Trussell’s strategy to end the need for food banks in Wales. This includes planning influencing opportunities, developing relationships, and shaping asks to advance Trussell’s mission in Wales, contributing to the successful delivery of our overall strategy.

Deliver policy, public affairs, and advocacy in Wales.

· Deliver policy development, public affairs, and advocacy activity to contribute towards the goals of the organisation’s Wales strategy and achieve policy change. This includes working closely with Wales based colleagues to represent Trussell in the media and at external events, managing social media, direct engagement with MS’s. MP’s, ministers, advisers and officials, preparing briefings and co-ordinating events and advocacy activity across Wales that secures impactful engagement. Build strong evidence base for Wales.

This includes sharing research findings with a range of audiences and external stakeholders through written and verbal briefings and working collaboratively with programmes across Trussell to build robust evidence base for the organisation’s policy and public affairs influencing and profile in Wales.

Develop effective partnerships and networks.

· Build collaborative external partnerships and develop networks to strengthen policy and public affairs activity in Wales, represent Trussell and promote the organisation’s policy positions to external stakeholders and audiences. This includes working with Wales based colleagues to represent the organisation in key Welsh sector coalitions and promoting the organisations policy positions and evidence to external stakeholders, to build awareness of the issues driving people to use food banks in Wales and our policy solutions.

Job Purpose

The Research Programme Manager will have a strong grounding in scientific research, expertise in grant management, and report to the Director of Research. 

The role’s core responsibility will be to lead on the implementation and delivery of large-scale collaborative programmes and funding schemes. The post holder will have a visible presence within the research community acting as an important point of contact between partner organisations, researchers, committee members, peer reviewers and the charity. They will be expected to keep updated with the latest research developments in order to use strategic scientific expertise and judgement in the ongoing development and improvement of the Foundation’s grant funding schemes.

They will be responsible for the successful delivery of a large portfolio of active projects by working closely with others in the team to ensure all awards are expertly administered, monitored, evaluated and reported against, ensuring the outputs are of the highest quality and supporting the charities activities. The post-holder will identify opportunities to communicate the progress or impact of the work we fund and work with the communications team to develop compelling communications for our supporters.

Key responsibilities:

Grant Funding Programme

● Lead on the setup of large-scale collaborative research programmes ensuring robust peer review, effective contracting and close collaboration with funding partners;

● Lead on the management of multiple grant funding schemes, as well as ad-hoc applications that come to the Foundation;

● Oversee the smooth running of application rounds, peer review and ensure that funding committees function in line with AMRC guidance;

● Be the main point of contact for the AMRC with regards to research management;

● Support the ongoing implementation and development of the Foundation’s Grant Management Software, ensuring the research team are using the platform effectively;

● Manage project set-up including contracting, the development of detailed project plans, including go/no-go milestones and budgets;

● Work with the other Research Programme Managers to oversee the research programme budget including planning, monitoring and forecasting; work with the Directors of Research and Finance to ensure that accurate research finance information is available for organisational budgeting and planning;

● Seek opportunities to improve the Foundation’s grant funding schemes to increase the number and quality of applications received year on year, ensuring funding projects support the delivery of the Foundation’s research strategy;

● Monitor any developments or innovations across the sector and implement changes to maintain a high-quality impactful research funding programme.

Project Portfolio and Impact

● Oversee the delivery of large-scale collaborative research programmes including:

• Leading on management on behalf of funding partnerships

● Manage and oversee project delivery of the Foundation’s active project portfolio by:

• Building and managing relationships with award holders and attending site visits;
• Approving grant payments and managing the change process for any project amendments;
• Ensuring project progress is effectively monitored and reported against;
• Identifying opportunities for and approving any project communications.

● Lead on the development and implementation of an Impact Evaluation Framework, to monitor and evaluate the impact of the research we fund.

● Lead on the development of an annual impact report to demonstrate the impact of the research we fund.

Line Management

● Provide line management responsibilities to the Research Officer, supporting their performance and ongoing development.

General Responsibilities

● Support the Director of Research to deliver the Foundation’s research strategy;

● Support more junior members of the team through training and mentoring;

● Contribute to the team being proactive and supportive, and working effectively and efficiently to achieve agreed objectives;

● Support the development of research communications activities, working closely with our communications team.

● Contribute to the development and maintenance of strong internal relationships across the charity, working specifically with the Fundraising Team to support income generation;

● Support the Director of Research in the development of updates for the Board of Trustees and other groups such as our Scientific Advisors;

● Keep updated with the latest scientific developments in the field, attend conferences and build strong relationships with MND experts and other relevant stakeholders;

● Represent the Foundation at external scientific meetings and conferences;

● Undertake other work as required by the Director of Research.

Skills and experience required:

● Educated to PhD level or with equivalent experience in a science subject relevant to MND;

● Experience of research management, including the management of grant schemes, preferably with experience of using Flexi-Grant;

● Experience of research communications, including the ability to disseminate complex scientific information and present it to non-technical audiences;

● Experience of liaising with senior individuals in a variety of organisations with an ability to create favourable working relationships;

● Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time;

● A great communicator, with excellent written and oral skills and the ability to maintain relationships with a wide variety of individuals, including those within the Foundation, researchers and clinicians, relevant organisations and industry bodies, MND patients, and other MND charities;

● Self-motivated, proactive and able to work using own initiative;

● Organised, with a proven ability to successfully manage a broad spectrum of tasks, deadlines and individuals;

● Motivated to make a real difference for those living with MND and future generations.

Working Pattern: Full time, permanent, home-based with regular travel across the UK

Salary: Circa £45,000 dependent on experience
