As our Canine Reproduction Specialist, you’ll work hand‑in‑hand with our Veterinary Surgeon to support successful, welfare‑focused breeding outcomes. Your insight and care will help maximise conception rates and litter sizes, while safeguarding the physical and emotional wellbeing of every breeding dog.
You’ll champion best‑practice reproductive care, influence high‑quality decision‑making, and help ensure that long‑term comfort, health and happiness remain at the heart of every breeding choice we make.
Based at our National Breeding Centre near Leamington Spa, you’ll work 35 hours per week between 8am and 6pm, Monday–Friday. You’ll also participate in a 1 in 4 weekend rota, ensuring continuous, outstanding care for our dogs.

What You’ll Do
- Carry out key reproductive duties, including cytology, progesterone testing and supervising matings, ensuring the highest standards of welfare and outcomes.
- Support clinical care for breeding dogs, applying your knowledge of canine anatomy, physiology and behaviour.
- Maintain accurate records, analyse reproductive data and contribute to continuous improvement across the breeding programme.
- Develop skills in ultrasound and reproductive techniques, including artificial insemination, under veterinary direction (full training provided).
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers and external partners, representing the breeding programme professionally.
What You’ll Bring
- Registered Veterinary Nurse with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
- Significant experience working in a veterinary practice.
- At least one year’s experience in a scientific or laboratory setting, with the ability and willingness to learn new techniques.
- Advanced knowledge of canine anatomy and reproduction, gained through academic study and/or practical experience.
- Strong understanding of canine behaviour, temperament and reproductive health.
- Good understanding of laboratory processes and equipment.
- Confident dog‑handling skills.
- Physical dexterity to safely supervise matings.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

The Role
This role will develop, support and manage a network of volunteers across England to help build both virtual and local communities for families affected by rare chromosome and gene disorders.
This role will lead on the recruitment, training and ongoing support of volunteers from the Unique membership to ensure they feel confident, connected and valued in their roles. Working closely with the Engagement and Communications Officer, the postholder will also help plan and run a programme of virtual events and online activities tailored to the needs of our members and encouraging supportive peer relationships between them.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with experience of volunteer management and community engagement. You’ll enjoy building relationships, empowering others, and creating opportunities for people to connect and support one another.
This is a hybrid role which includes occasional working in our Oxted office to build relationships with our small, friendly team, as well as time spent on the ground with volunteers in different regions. An ISVA qualification or relevant degree is desirable, but not essential. We consider people from a wide range of educational backgrounds and work experience. What matters is that you are empathetic and will support the specific needs of our clients.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Haringey Team in London.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.
Position: S11352 Stroke Support Coordinator
Location: Home-based, Haringey. However, regular travel will be required as part of this role (will include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

The Role
Reporting to Service Delivery Coach, key responsibilities will include:
- Organise and facilitate effective service communication for the benefit of stroke survivors and carers in understanding and achieving their goals.
- Ensure that timely, confidential and accurate records are kept on the CRM data base and all data is in line with the retention policy and GDPR compliant.
- Develop and manage service volunteers to support service delivery for stroke survivors and carers as required.
About You
You will have experience in:
- Providing person centred support to empower vulnerable people or people with a disability or long-term health condition and their carers
- Nurturing emotional resilience needed to handle a variety of calls, potentially dealing with complex and challenging situations whilst working in your own home
- Effective listening skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse audience including anyone experiencing communication difficulties via a combination of face-to-face visits or meetings, telephone calls, emails or letters, and digital methods (such as video calls)
This role requires regular travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home and in community settings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.

Job Summary
As The Operations Transformation Programme Director, you’ll build and lead a new directorate driving major change across Estates, Fleet, Logistics and Supply Chain to ensure St John’s operational services are efficient, future‑ready and deliver outstanding support. As its ambition and activity continue to grow, the foundation is strengthening its internal finance capacity to support increasing operational complexity and ensure robust financial management underpins its impact.
The Head of Finance is responsible for all aspects of the charity’s financial operations, including daily accounting activities, management reporting, compliance, and governance. Supporting the organisation’s ambitious plans to create greater impact, the role will also work closely with the CEO and leadership team in building the organisations capacity, and firm charity governance to enable growth.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified and experienced accountant as day-to-day financial management is a given. As a key player in the Foundation’s growth, you will also embody the values of the organisation, inspire others and actively build strong frameworks within finance, and also for other operational areas if required. This role would be ideal for someone who has been involved in the building and growth of a charity, bringing strong charity governance in equal measure with passion and innovation.
