The Counselling and Outreach Coordinator role is key to SEL Mind's exciting new counselling service for Black residents of Southwark, delivered as part of the wider Southwark Wellbeing Hub. This full-time role will shape the Wellbeing Hub's provision to the Black community, expanding equitable access to culturally-appropriate support. 

As Coordinator, you will provide initial clinical assessments to prospective service users and coordinate a small pool of Trainee Counsellors, expanding future access to Black-led counselling. You'll line manage an Administrator who is responsible for scheduling and other practical elements of the service. You'll also work closely in partnership with community organisations to ensure relevant, de-colonial approaches, including maintaining a delivery partnership with Black Psychotherapy.

The main working site is a community centre in SE5, and the community outreach work involves regular travel across the borough. You will play a vital role in building community trust, ensuring that we are creating routes into the service and continually seeking and implementing feedback.

We are seeking a qualified therapist who is passionate about improving Black people's access to early mental health support. Relationships and partnership working is vital, so you should be able to work independently but collaboratively, to be proactive and show initiative. 

The role will involve:

• Undertaking skilled assessments of client needs and risks, taking into account the nature and complexity of presenting needs and suitability for short-term therapeutic work
• Recruiting and training volunteer Counsellors, ensuring trauma-informed work integrating spirituality and cultural values, using creative therapeutic modalities, and maintaining therapeutic relationships that honour diverse healing approaches
• Maintaining a live engagement strategy and actively reaching out with physical presence to grassroots organisations, faith groups, community centres, cultural associations, and spaces for people experiencing difficult situations including e.g. food banks and advice/advocacy organisations
• Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of the service, bringing recommendations to support the SWH's inclusivity and best practice

This role involves providing culturally specific support to Black clients. Applicants must be able to demonstrate lived experience of, and deep cultural understanding within, Black communities, and the ability to build trust with Black service users.

Overview

We’re incredibly proud of our hospices. We provide respite, palliative and end of life care to babies and children from birth to five years old with life limiting or life-threatening illnesses, with our team of specialist nurses offering round-the-clock care and support. We’ve created a safe, caring and fun place, where parents know that their child will receive the best care possible - a home away from home.  In order to continue with our specialist work, we need to ensure the charity continues to raise the funds we need. 
 

About the role

Supporting the delivery of Zoe’s Place overall income generation strategy, by developing a portfolio of corporate supporters at Zoe’s Place Coventry to deliver long term sustainable income growth. 
 

Key Responsibilities:

Account manage corporate relationships 

• Account manage newly established and existing corporate relationships, ensuring that each one is appropriately supported and is reaching its full potential, through charity of the year partnerships, sponsorship, staff fundraising, payroll giving and event participation.
• Work with the Head of Fundraising to ensure corporate fundraising offering is consistent across all relationships.
•  Plan and execute events to steward current supporters.
•  Meet and exceed agreed fundraising targets for corporate supporters at Zoe’s Place Coventry.
• Identify potential new opportunities to grow current partnerships, including identifying potentially useful networks within each partner organisation, developing powerful ideas, pitches and tailored proposals.

Re-engage past Corporate supporters. 

• Undertake research to identify past corporate supporters using our CRM and devise/implement plans to re-engage their support. 
• Plan and execute events to re-engage past supporters.
• Devise new products to re-engage past corporate supporters.

Networking and Representation 

• Represent Zoe’s Place at external corporate functions to promote the work of the Hospice by giving presentations, articulating a clear and compelling case for support.
• Attend networking events such as the Chamber of Commerce as required.

Administration and pipeline 

• Use our fundraising CRM and in line with GDPR to ensure accurate and timely recording of stewardship. 
• Working with an income pipeline, ensure accurate and timely financial forecasting, identifying risk to income and mitigating accordingly. 

Collaborative working

• Work closely with staff across the charity to maximise opportunities to engage with high-value audiences, ensuring accurate sharing of information, such as case studies, is relevant and timely.
• Develop strong working relationships with the wider Coventry marketing, fundraising and Coventry clinical team. 
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with other members of staff in order to ‘cross-sell’ and maximise fundraising opportunities.

We are seeking an Access to Justice (A2J) Coordinator to coordinate the provision of vital diagnostic immigration advice for vulnerable migrants. The role will coordinate the diagnostic advice appointment pathway from start to finish. This includes:

• Receiving, processing and triaging new enquiries for support
• Working with the Immigration Team to identify appropriate cases to be offered diagnostic advice
• Coordinating advice appointments with specialist external advisors and confirming the appointment details with the person receiving advice

The Role

This is a new role, working remotely from the UK and reporting to the Directors to handle the increased financial and logistics workflow of the organisation as we embark on a new 18-month EU-funded grant. In this respect, the role involves day to day operational and financial administration but is also an opportunity for a flexible and pro-active person to support the organisation’s development and expand its capabilities, and also to engage with project partners and learn more about our work. While this is a fixed term contract, the role may be extended (subject to funding) and evolve to meet changing needs. As a small team, we are open to flexible working. 

Grant management:

• Financial administration: ensure accurate records and supporting documentation is kept for all financial transactions, including regular entry of data into the relevant financial and budget management systems.
• Manage sub-grants to partners and consultants as allowed for within project budgets, ensuring timely receipt and processing of financial reports, and checking accuracy of invoices, timesheets, receipts and all supporting documentation, contracts, etc. in line with donor requirements.
• Budget monitoring and tracking: Preparing monthly forecasts and expenditure updates, to enable timely and efficient expenditure of project funds in accordance with the deliverables and budgets in grant contracts.
• Prepare quarterly financial reports for donors ensuring accuracy, accountability and alignment with donor contract requirements and Indie Peace policies.

Logistics support: Supporting the organisation and financial administration of Indie Peace project initiatives. Includes:

• Remote support in organising events, meetings and project activities in the regions where Indie Peace works, e.g. arranging meeting/conference venues within budget limitations, organising transport/accommodation bookings, ensuring documentation is in place (e.g. financial documentation, participant lists, etc.).
• Support Indie Peace Directors’ activities while travelling on business, as required, including supporting logistics, preparing expense reports with supporting receipts, maintaining timesheets, etc.

Other:

• Entry of financial transactions into accounting software, ensuring all financial records are recorded and all payments reconciled in a timely manner.
• Prepare monthly expense and financial reports, maintaining and updating cash flow forecast.
• General administrative support as agreed.

Line-management and relationships: While the position works with both Directors of the organisation, day to day line management and supervision is provided by the Director responsible for operations. Other people the post will need to liaise or maintain communication with on a regular basis include: in-country partners, consultants, and donor representatives. While this is a remote role, we would require occasional in-person meetings, usually in London which is where Indie Peace is based. 

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years of proven experience in UK-based international non-profit organisation, involving financial management of EU grants.

Related Skills or Knowledge:

• Experience of EU grants and financial management.
• Experience in reporting and accounting in the not-for-profit sector, including donor reporting.
• Experience with budget monitoring and oversight.
• Experience of a range of finance functions (bookkeeping, reporting, audit, etc.).
• Experience of systems management (financial or otherwise)
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications, especially Word and Excel, is required.
• Experience using accounting software, such as Xero.
• Ability to communicate effectively. Strong written and oral skills in English. Russian is a strong advantage.

Contract hours and time-frame: 15 months (July 2026 – September 2027) fixed term contract.

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Event Assistant to be on the frontline of participant support, helping ensure every runner has the best possible experience. It’s an exciting time to join the team as we look ahead to our 10th anniversary event in 2027.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and delivering excellent customer service. You’ll be the first point of contact for participant queries across email and phone, providing clear, friendly and timely support, and making sure every interaction is handled with care and accuracy.

Alongside this, you’ll support website updates, maintain accurate information across systems, and help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. About this job

We’re looking for a dynamic Social and Digital Media Creator to join our team. You’ll be a real digital native, with experience delivering engaging campaigns across paid media, organic social media and email. Day to you’ll manage, moderate and optimise our digital channels and email communications – all integral shop windows for our brand.

You’ll deliver accessible and inclusive content viewed millions of times by over 210,000 followers.  Planning and delivering targeted social and paid media strategies is a key part of this role. You’ll lead social content production, create engaging videos, graphics, and community-focused posts to support people living with MS.

The role also involves planning, writing, building, and sending targeted emails to key audiences using DotDigital, our email service provider.

The Social and Digital Media Creator generates and utilises channel and content insights to increase engagement, raise awareness, and drive conversions against our KPIs.

About DePaul UK

In the 1980s, high unemployment and steep inflation was contributing to a shocking rise in youth homelessness across London. The Role
